Abstract
Aparato y procedimiento para la autoadministración operante de composiciones farmacológicas en animales de laboratorio.#La invención consiste en un sistema de autoadministración operante en animales de laboratorio, que permite administrar cualquier droga o compuesto farmacológico, químico o médico, bien por inhalación de la solución o bien por esnifado del preparado en forma de polvo fino.#El aparato se diseña para que, en la jaula de experimentación, se instale un módulo para la inhalación o un módulo para el esnifado de ellos, o ambos a la vez así como un sistema de detección del animal en la zona de disparo del compuesto y un sistema de alimentación del animal.#Todo el conjunto está controlado por ordenador que, además, proporciona datos estadísticos sobre los resultados obtenidos en los experimentos.#Se resuelve así el problema de la autoadministración de dosis pequeñas y muy precisas de sustancias de interés médico a animales de laboratorio.Apparatus and method for the operating self-administration of pharmacological compositions in laboratory animals. # The invention consists of a system of self-administration operating in laboratory animals, which allows to administer any drug or pharmacological, chemical or medical compound, either by inhalation of the solution or either by snorting the preparation in the form of fine powder. # The device is designed so that, in the experimentation cage, an inhalation module or a module for their sniffing is installed, or both at the same time as a system of detection of the animal in the firing zone of the compound and an animal feeding system. # The whole set is controlled by a computer that also provides statistical data on the results obtained in the experiments. # This solves the problem of self-administration of small and very precise doses of substances of medical interest to laboratory animals.
