Abstract
Un procedimiento y un dispositivo para la medición del volumen de objetos de materiales higroscópicos con geometría compleja mediante sistema neumático. El dispositivo comprende un sistema de dos cámaras con transductores de presión absoluta incorporados, una en la que se alojará el objeto a medir y otra en la que se acumula aire comprimido. La alimentación de aire comprimido al sistema pasa previamente por un sistema de limpieza. La presión del aire incorporado es controlada mediante un limitador de presión. La medición del volumen del objeto se realiza en base al volumen de las dos cámaras y a la medición de las presiones que se alcanzan en las mismas durante el ciclo de medición, al poner en presión una de ellas y después abrir la llave de paso que las comunica. El proceso resulta aplicable a materiales higroscópicos de geometría compleja, como madera, péllets, piensos granulados o suelos.A procedure and a device for measuring the volume of objects of hygroscopic materials with complex geometry by means of a pneumatic system.
