Preferred Embodiment of the Invention

Each actuator 10, by means of a pin 11, transmits the turning movement to a main shaft 12 which, through of an intermediate piece 13, in turn transmits it to a ratchet 14, intended to act on a plurality of balls 15 located in housings 16 of support 5 and intended to block or not, in function of whether they are prominent or not, a closure piece 17, conveniently in solidarity with door 2, logically existing two closing pieces 17 corresponding to the two actuators 10-10 'above.

A retaining ring 18 surrounding support 5 and which is permanently pressed axially by the effect of a spring 19 tends to seal the housings 16 for the balls 15 when the door 2 tilts in the direction of opening and closing parts 17 are separated from support 5, avoiding the fall of the balls 15 while the movement of rotation of the main shaft 12 is carried out against the tension of  another torsion spring 20. Said spring 20 is loaded by opening the device, and before a eventual break in the kinematic chain of the same tends to make turn said axis 12 towards the closing situation that is blocked, as shown in figure 4, by means of a pin 21, established in a diametral housing of axis 12. Said pin 21 tends to be projected outwards by the effect of a small spring axial 22, which is normally retained by the support 5, but which in the rotation caused by the torsion spring 20 faces a hole 23 in the holder 5 causing it to penetrate the latter and causing the blocking of the main shaft 12, causing the self-locking of the closing device as a whole.

As a complement to the structure described, the internal face of door 2 and in the lateral area, it is fixed rigidly a hook 24, and to the inner face of the body 1 of the ark a stop 25, which causes a tongue and groove coupling between them elements, as seen in figure 7, determining a high degree of security regarding the closure of the ark in this area. He hook 24 and stop 25 are interconnected by the hinge 26, composed of articulated connecting rods, clearly visible in figure 2. Preferably there will be two elements of hinge in the extreme areas of the corresponding edge of the body and door of the ark, in correspondence with the two pieces closure located on the opposite edge of said door.

As follows from the above and As previously mentioned, the ark offers a external surface completely smooth, without being appreciable to the observer neither the hinge means nor the means of opening, which gives it a high degree of security, which is seen enhanced by the solid fixation described in four points next to the vertices of the door.

Claims (4)

1. Closing device for ark, preferably for public telephones, said ark comprising a body (1) provided with a front opening to which a door (2) is attached, preferably hinged, characterized in that it incorporates a support (5), secured to the body (1) of the ark, and on which an electric motor reducer (6) is mounted whose output shaft (7) and through an eccentric (8) acts on a transmission arm (9) that transmits the movement of rotation of the motor to at least one actuator (10-10 ') which in turn supplies the rotating movement to a main shaft (12) which in turn acts on a ratchet (14) housed in the bosom of the support (5) and acting in turn on a plurality of balls (15), capable of emerging radially to block a closure piece (17) attached to the lid (2) of the ark. 2. Closing device according to claim 1, characterized in that, in correspondence with the closing piece (17), the support (5) incorporates housings (16) for the balls (15), which allow the exit of said balls pushed by the ratchet (14), arranged on said support (5), in the axial extension of each closing piece (17), a retaining ring (18) that tends to be projected outwards by a spring (19) avoiding the fall of the balls (15) when the door is opened (2) with the consequent separation of the closing piece (17). 3. Closing device, according to previous claims, characterized in that the rotation of the main shaft (12) is driven at the expense of the gear reducer (6) and against a torsion spring (20) surrounding the shaft itself (12) , said shaft (12) having a diametral housing for a pin (21) capable of facing a hole (23) located in the support (5) and being projected into said hole (23) by the effect of a spring axial (22), producing the automatic locking of the main shaft (12) before a breakage of one of the elements of the device. Device, according to previous claims, characterized in that it acts in combination with hinged means of the door (2) of the ark located inside it and constituted by at least one hook (24) and a stop (25), connected each other by connecting rods and tongue and groove trailers in a closed situation.
