Abstract

Prefabricated insulating block for partition walls, characterized in that at its core it has a lightened ceramic piece, generally a hollow brick (1), coated externally by one of its side faces with a uniformly distributed plaster layer (2), while the another side face is also covered with plaster, in a thin layer on which and before setting, a plate (3) of thermal and acoustic insulating material, preferably expanded polystyrene, is formed, constituting between the three elements a sandwich block, in the that the plate (3) has a set of straight, parallel, cross-sectional slits (4) of trapecial section, located on the face in contact with the plaster, which will fill them in their fluid state, contributing to the fixing of the insulating piece after setting, when configuring multiple dovetail joints. 2. Prefabricated insulating block for partition walls, according to Claim 1, characterized in that the block has on two adjacent edges, one major and one minor, a major longitudinal projection (5) and a minor transverse (6), both of trapezoidal section and two incoming (7) - (8) on the opposite edges, of identical configuration than the projections but of slightly larger dimensions, both projections (5) - (6) being composed, lengthwise, of a plaster part and a part insulation, so that the brick (4) is displaced laterally from its central position, which allows to increase the thickness of the insulating plate (3) and improve the insulation capacity of the block.
