The endotracheal tube facilitating penetration by the tube has a conventional tube section (1) connected to a smaller-diameter tube section (8) which has a diverging sector (10) excluding difficulty of tube penetration in the trachea. The section (8) is inserted first, via the nose, with its free end (11) exiting via the mouth.
