Abstract
Un sistema de visualización para imágenes de grandes dimensiones que permite visualizar una pluralidad de imágenes diferentes, comprende una matriz de imágenes (30) constituida por matrices entrelazadas procedentes de diferentes imágenes; una matriz de enmascaramiento (25) adyacente a la matriz de imagen (30), constituida por una bandas de enmascaramiento (54a, 55E) espaciadas unas de otras y alternando con bandas de ventana (59a) espaciadas unas de otras; un sistema de fijación, que permite fijar la matriz de imagen (30) y la matriz de enmascaramiento (35) de manera que se desplacen una respecto de otra; un mecanismo de arrastre, que produce un desplazamiento relativo de imagen (30) y de la matriz de enmascaramiento (25) entre posiciones de visualización sucesivas en las que las bandas de ventana de la matriz de enmascaramiento (25) están alineadas con las andas de imagen de una imagen particular, mientras que las bandas de imagen de otras imágenes están ocultas por las bandas de enmascaramiento; y un sistema de compresión (71) que acerca los bordes opuestos de la matriz de imagen (30) y de la matriz de enmascaramiento 825), para curvar dichas matrices (30, 25) y llevarlas en contacto íntimo una con otra baoj el efecto de la presión.
