Abstract

Inlet and exhaust valve system for engines.Applicable both to explosion and internal combustion engines in which each cylinder (3) has a mechanical inlet valve (8) and another for exhaust, driven by the camshaft (9). Each chamber (3) also includes at least one inlet valve (12) and another for exhaust of the electromechanical type, each fitted with electromagnetic coils (14) and (15), one for opening and one for closing, controlled by an electronic control unit (17) which controls the timing of the opening and closing of the said valves (12) as well as the time they remain open or closed, in order to obtain the maximum efficiency of the engine and minimum fuel consumption, the said electronic unit (17) generating a train of valve (12) control pulses based on information received from a series of sensors, namely a rotation sensor (18) and an angular rotation sensor (23), which work with a toothed wheel (22), a pressure sensor (25), fitted with a membrane (26) connected to the inlet manifold (9) and optionally sensors that detect the temperature of the engine, the inlet air, or any other parameter that influences the conditions of explosion or combustion of the mixture in the chamber (3).
