Abstract

Una composición de una materia que consiste en un pseudogel elaborado haciendo reaccionar una mezcla que comprende: (a) un fluido de poliorganosiloxano que tiene una viscosidad de 1.500 a 10.000 centipoises y en el que el fluido de poliorganosiloxano que es esencialmente de cadenas de polímero de poliorganosiloxano que tienen pesos moleculares relativos agrupados sustancialmente en tres intervalos, en donde 15%-40% en peso de las cadenas de polímero del poliorganosiloxano tienen un peso molecular medio en el intervalo de 1.000 a 3.000, 15%-40% de las cadenas de polímero de poliorganosiloxano en peso tienen un peso molecular medio en el intervalo de 100.000 a 200.000, y 40%-60% de las cadenas de polímero de poliorganosiloxano tienen un peso molecular medio en el intervalo de 3.000 a 20.000 y en donde las cadenas de polímero de poliorganosiloxano están compuestas totalmente por grupos (CH3)2SiO congrupos extremos (CH3)2ViSiO0,5, en donde Vi indica un grupo vinilo, (b) un fluido de hidrogenosiloxano que tiene una viscosidad a 25ºC de 25 a 100 centipoises y está comprendido por grupos (CH3)2SiO y (CH3)HSiO de modo que los grupos (CH3)HSiO son de 25 a 40 por ciento en moles y en donde los grupos terminales son (CH3)3SiO0,5 o (CH3)2HSiO0,5, y (c) un catalizador de complejo de platino en una cantidad suficiente para proporcionar no más de 10 ppm de platino basado en los pesos combinados de (a) y (b), siendo tales las proporciones de (a) y (b) que la relación de grupos hidruro de silicio en (b) a grupos vinilo en (a) es de 0,6 a 0,85, siendo el producto de reacción un pseudogel.
