LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN CONJUNTO COMBUSTIBLE PARA UN REACTOR NUCLEAR DE AGUA LIGERA CON UNA SECCION TRANSVERSAL SUSTANCIALMENTE CUADRADA QUE COMPRENDE UNAS VARILLAS DE COMBUSTIBLE (4) QUE SE EXTIENDEN ENTRE UNA PLACA DE ASIENTO INFERIOR (16) Y UNA PLACA DE ASIENTO SUPERIOR (17). DURANTE SU FUNCIONAMIENTO ESTA PREVISTO QUE UN REFRIGERANTE FLUYA HACIA ARRIBA A TRAVES DEL CONJUNTO COMBUSTIBLE. SEGUN UNA REALIZACION DE LA INVENCION, EL CONJUNTO COMBUSTIBLE COMPRENDE UNA PLURALIDAD DE UNIDADES DE COMBUSTIBLE (3) APILADAS UNAS ENCIMA DE OTRAS, COMPRENDIENDO CADA UNIDAD DE COMBUSTIBLE (3) UNA PLURALIDAD DE VARILLAS DE COMBUSTIBLE (4) QUE SE EXTIENDEN ENTRE LA PLACA DE ASIENTO SUPERIOR (17) Y LA PLACA DE ASIENTO INFERIOR (16).
