Abstract

System for plague control in hydroponic cultures.From any type of culture receptacle, the system consists in partially or totally providing the external surface of said receptacles with an anti-insect bonding agent, with additives based on self-eliminating control or sexual attractants for insects, so that these insects are attracted to the bonding agent and immobilised in it. The bonding agent with its additives can be in the form of a plastic paint, applicable using any conventional resource, on the culture receptacles, or placed on strips, bands or support sheets, which can be fixed using any means to the surface of the culture receptacle, in which case, said strips, bands, or sheets can optionally be assisted by respective external protective sheets, that maintain the bonding agent incorporated in the receptacle inoperative until the moment it is needed.
