Abstract
La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para producir metales a partir de gangas metálicas, por ejemplo, para la producción de arrabio a partir de mineral de hierro. Se emplea un material plástico aglomerante con superficies rugosas (y por tanto, gran superficie específica) como agente reductor y/o como un suministro de constituyentes para el gas de reducción en un horno metalúrgico, en particular un alto horno.
