Abstract

Recipiente para transporte de alimentos con calentador integrado que comprende una combinación de un elemento calentador eléctrico con una capa de aislamiento que comprende capas de lámina metálica y capas de fibra. La combinación de las capas de lámina metálica, que distribuyen el calor procedente del elemento calentador, y de las capas de aislamiento, de fibra, proporciona un recipiente para transporte de alimentos eficiente que tiene requerimientos de energía suficientemente bajos para permitir alimentar el elemento calentador desde un sistema de 12 voltios de automóvil, manteniendo a la vez una temperatura de los alimentos dentro del recipiente de aproximadamente 66ºC. Esta estructura de un recipiente para suministro de alimentos permite la fabricación a bajo coste y eficiente de un recipiente para el suministro doméstico o suministro institucional de comidas calientes preparadas.
