Abstract

A system for joining ligaments to tendons, such as the type used for joining ligaments or tendons to bones, characterized by having a small elliptic washer with a large surface that anchors and adheres well to the bone ligament. It comprises a threaded conical screw that ends in a point and has a round head. Its lower part is flat and shaped like a four-leaf clover. It has lateral perforations on the inside where the two screwdriver pads are set. The screwdriver has a retractable mechanism for tightening the screw and it functions with the aid of the pads, which are located distally and which fit snugly into the holes on the internal head of the screw
