Abstract

Método para limpiar la escoria en un horno eléctrico. La invención se refiere a un método para limpiar la escoria, creada en procesos metalúrgicos de metales no férreos, en un horno eléctrico, y particularmente el método se relaciona con un proceso de limpieza semicontinuo. De acuerdo con el nuevo método, el horno eléctrico está provisto de por lo menos dos agujeros de sangría de la escoria, el más bajo de los cuales está dispuesto al mismo nivel que el agujero de sangría en un horno convencional que funciona por tandas, y el segundo agujero de colada se localiza más arriba, bien sea a la altura de la entrada de alimentación o sólo ligeramente por debajo de la misma.
