Abstract

System for removing tape from boxes and other cardboard containers and the like. The system is applicable to containers that are closed using foldable tabs (2) fixed one to the other using a self-adhesive wide strip (3) that extends beyond said tabs (2) towards the side walls (5) of the container in which the punches (8) that determine the tongues (9) are placed, which, when folded towards the inside of the container, determine holes-grips for its handling. In correspondence with the folding line (6) of at least one of the tongues (7) a U shaped cut (10) is established, which determines a small tab (11) on which the self-adhesive strip (3) is superimposed so that the free end of said strip sensibly matches the free edge of the tab (11) so that when the tongue (7) is folded towards the inside of the container, the tab (11) is directly accessible, together with the end of the self-adhesive strip (3) connected to it, to start the removal of the self-adhesive strip or preset strip of the container.
