Abstract

Vidrio gris muy oscuro de cal y soba cáustica. La presente invención se refiere a un vidrio coloreado de gris muy oscuro de cal y sosa cáustica. El vidrio contiene hierro, cobalto y selenio como agentes colorantes en las siguientes proporciones (expresadas en la forma indicada como porcentajes en peso del vidrio): Fe{sub,2 O{sub,3 1,00 a 1,65%, Co 0,017 a 0,030% y Se 0,001 a 0,010%. El vidrio presenta una transmisión luminosa total, medida según un iluminante A para un espesor de vidrio de 4 mm. (TLA4), inferior al 20%, y una transmisión de energía total, medida para un espesor de vidrio de 4 mm. (TE4), inferior al 20%. Este vidrio es especialmente adecuado para paneles para techos de vehículos.
