Abstract
Proceso de pervaporación analítica y su uso como alternativa a las técnicas de espacio de cabeza y purga-atrapamiento, y su módulo básico correspondiente. El proceso de pervaporación analítica, está basado en la técnica de separación de especies volátiles de disoluciones, suspensiones o muestras sólidas, y consiste en la evaporación del (o los) analito(s) de la muestra a una zona gaseosa situada por encima de ella y posterior difusión a través de una membrana de las características adecuadas hasta una disolución aceptara, en flujo o en reposo, al otro lado de la membrana. La muestra nunca se pone en contacto con la membrana, evitándose los problemas de obturación característicos de la técnica de separación conocida como difusión gaseosa. El módulo básico está definido como unidad de separación e incluye: una cámara superior o aceptara, por la que circula la corriente aceptara y donde se absorbe el analito gaseoso; y una segunda cámara donadora o cámara de muestra a través de la cual circulala corriente conteniendo el analito volátil, o su producto de reacción volátil.Analytical pervaporation process and its use as an alternative to head space and trap-trap techniques, and its corresponding basic module. The analytical pervaporation process is based on the technique of separation of volatile species from solutions, suspensions or solid samples, and consists in the evaporation of the analyte (s) from the sample to a gas area located above it. and subsequent diffusion through a membrane of the appropriate characteristics until a solution will accept, in flow or at rest, on the other side of the membrane. The sample is never contacted with the membrane, avoiding the sealing problems characteristic of the separation technique known as gas diffusion. The basic module is defined as a separation unit and includes: an upper or accepting chamber, through which the current will accept and where the gaseous analyte is absorbed; and a second donor chamber or sample chamber through which current flows containing the volatile analyte, or its volatile reaction product.
