Abstract

The linkage consists of a frame to which the door is pivoted, and an articulated parallelogram linkage which allows the door and frame to move up or down relative to the opening. Each parallelogram comprises two arms (11, 14) pivoted at one end to the frame uprights (10). The upper arm (11) is straight and pivoted at one end to the top of an upright and at the other to the side of the oven, while the lower arm (14) is bent at a right angle and pivoted at one end to the middle of an upright and at the other to the output shaft of a drive and reduction gear (47) or to the oven wall.
