Abstract

Acelerómetro de fibra óptica multipunto y autocompensado. El Acelerómetro de Fibra óptica consiste en una cabeza transductora (A), un canal óptico (B), y una unidad electro-óptica (C) que reproduce en su salida la vibración impuesta a la cabeza transductora. La cabeza transductora incorpora un tallo de fibra óptica móvil y una red de difracción, que difracta espectralmente luz blanca que es recogida por el extremo del tallo de fibra óptica, siendo el desplazamiento relativo entre la red de difracción y el extremo del tallo función de la aceleración o del desplazamiento a la que es sometida la cabeza transductora. La luz modulada por la cabeza transductora es analizada por la unidad electro-óptica, que implementa un sistema de compensación para evitar la influencia sobre la medida de derivas y perturbaciones externas, y proporcionar una medida autocalibrada. El sensor, sin despreciar otras aplicaciones, mide aceleraciones y desplazamientos en instalaciones, estructuras, equipos y componentes, trabajando eficientemente en ambientes electromagnéticamente contaminados.Multipoint, self-compensating fiber optic accelerometer. The light modulated by the transducer head is analyzed by the electro-optical unit, which implements a compensation system to avoid influencing the measurement of drifts and external disturbances, and to provide a self-calibrated measurement. The sensor, without neglecting other applications, measures accelerations and displacements in installations, structures, equipment and components, working efficiently in electromagnetically contaminated environments.
