Abstract

The system is based on providing, at the access opening to the conventional receptacle 4 for collecting the protection labels 5, of a sensor or reader 6 which generates a signal as the label 5 passes by, supplying said signal via wiring 7 to the cash terminal 1 corresponding to the point of sale in question, in such a manner that, during a sales operation, at any suitable moment thereof, it is necessary for the cash terminal 1 to receive the ticket-removal signal generated by the sensor 6 so that the terminal's operation can continue its normal course up to final issuing of the payment stub or cash-register ticket.
