Abstract

Improvements whereby it is possible to improve the air cooling system in small engines which are usually used in motorcycles, bicycles, light vehicles or stationary power units, obtaining greater uniformity of temperatures and less noise, which consist in forming a sealed chamber 3 between the inner wall 1 and outer wall 2 of each cylinder or cylinder/cylinder-head assembly of the engine, which is filled with a metal or metallic alloy with a low melting point which, at the operating temperature of the engine, is in a liquid state, transmitting, by convection and conduction, a portion of the heat generated by the combustion process in the combustion chamber 5 and not converted into work from the inner wall 1 of the cylinder or cylinder/cylinder-head assembly to the outer wall 2 thereof.
