Abstract

Adaptador de potencia (10) con puerto detegral, adaptado para acoplar una antena exterior (17) a un dispositivo de comunicación (30) por medio de un cable (12) que se conecta habitualmente en un encendedor de cigarrillos de un vehículo u otra fuente de alimentación en un extremo, y a un conector de entrada del dispositivo de comunicación (30) en el otro. El adaptador de potencia también proporciona capacidad de entrada/salida de RF para la conexión a una antena de vehículo exterior, y el dispositivo de comunicación podría incluir un conmutador de RF (34) y circuitería de control para seleccionar bien la antena interior o bien la exterior para una recepción óptima.
