Abstract

Valve in which there is a plumbing accessory casing 1, in a manner known per se, a thermostat member 25 whose outlet member 66 urges a regulation element 30. The axial position of the regulation element 30 with respect to a seat 32 for cold water and a seat 33 for hot water determines the mixing proportion of the exiting mixed water. In order to achieve stable regulation behaviour in the event of a connection of the channels 2, 3 for the intake of water not adjusted to the norm, provision has been made for a device 67 which reverses the direction of movement of the outlet member 66 of the thermostat member 25 and only then does it transmit said movement to the regulation element 30. The regulation element 30 and the outlet member 66 of the thermostat member 25 thus always move in opposite directions.
