LA PRESENTE INVENCION CONSISTE EN EL DESARROLLO DE UN "KIT" RAPIDO CAPAZ DE DETECTAR LA PRESENCIA DE ANTICUERPOS ESPECIFICOS FRENTE A TRICHINELLA SPIRALIS APLICADOS AL DIAGNOSTICO DE LA TRICHINELOSIS, ENFERMEDAD PARASITARIA, DEL HOMBRE, CERDO Y OTROS ANIMALES EMPLEADOS PARA EL CONSUMO CARNICO. ESTE KIT DISCRIMINA LOS CASOS POSITIVOS DE LOS NEGATIVOS, APARECIENDO UNA BANDA COLOREADA SOBRE UN SUBSTRATO INERTE EN LOS CASOS POSITIVOS. COMO REACTIVOS BIOLOGICOS, PUEDEN EMPLEARSE SANGRE, SUERO, SALIVA U OTROS FLUIDOS BIOLOGICOS. ESTE "KIT" PUEDE APLICARSE A LA DETECCION DE ANTICUERPOS DE CUALQUIER AGENTE INFECCIOSO, ASI COMO PARA LA DETECCION DE SUSTANCIAS CAPACES DE COMPORTARSE COMO ANTIGENOS.THE PRESENT INVENTION IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A QUICK "KIT" ABLE TO DETECT THE PRESENCE OF SPECIFIC ANTIBODIES AGAINST TRICHINELLA SPIRALIS APPLIED TO THE DIAGNOSIS OF TRICHINELOSIS, PARASITIC DISEASE, OF MAN, PORK AND OTHER ANIMALS. THIS KIT DISCRIMINATES POSITIVE CASES FROM NEGATIVES, APPEARING A COLORED BAND ON A SUBSTRATE INERT IN POSITIVE CASES. AS BIOLOGICAL REAGENTS, BLOOD, SERUM, SALIVA OR OTHER BIOLOGICAL FLUIDS MAY BE USED. THIS "KIT" MAY APPLY TO THE ANTIBODY DETECTION OF ANY INFECTIOUS AGENT, AS WELL AS TO THE DETECTION OF SUBSTANCES ABLE TO BEHAVE AS ANTIGENS.
