Abstract

The input circuit for a digital input of a micrcomputer (1) which is synchronised to an alternating voltage fed into the input receives one of several input values causing the microcomputer to switch an associated output parameter. A phase shafter (10) shifts the phase of the alternating voltage according to the input value. Each phase shift applies a switching signal (UA) to the digital input (2) at its corresp. time point. The microcomputer samples the digital input several times during a half cycle of the alternating voltage and switches the output parameter corresp. to the input value or phase shift when a switching signal is detected. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for controlling washing machine or power drill. Several, esp. more than four, input values can be detected via simple inptu circuitry.The input circuit for a digital input of a micrcomputer (1) which is synchronised to an alternating voltage fed into the input receives one of several input values causing the microcomputer to switch an associated output parameter.
