Abstract
These handlebars are articulated at the bottom on the chassis of the pushchair and are stabilized in a front position and in another, rear position. The safety device consists in providing, on the outer face of each lateral handrail of the pushchair, a stop which prevents the change of position of the handlebars if these have not previously been suitably prepared to overcome said stop, this being with the intention of protecting the child's arms and hands. In order to overcome the stop, the impact element provided on the branch of the handlebars and which projects therefrom opposite the outer face of the lateral handrail must be gripped by the opposite end where it has a control for pulling said impact element, which is pushed by a spring towards its projecting, active position. The safety device comprises a stop on each handrail and these are arranged opposite one another.
