CONSISTE EN TOSTAR LAS SEMILLAS PURIFICADAS DE PROSOPIS JULIFLORA DURANTE APROXIMADAMENTE 1 A 3 MINUTOS EN UN HORNO TUBULAR ROTATIVO CALIENTE A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 200-250GC, LIBERAR LAS SEMILLAS DE SU CASCARA Y EMBRION EN MOLINOS DESCASCARADORES, MOLER EL ENDOSPERMO PURIFICADO, Y EVENTUALMENTE ETERIFICAR, O ESTERIFICAR EL PRODUCTO MOLIDO Y/O DESPOLIMERIZARLO DE MANERA EN SI CONOCIDA, CON LO CUAL RESULTA UN POLISACARIDO QUE TIENE PREFERIBLEMENTE UNA RELACION DE GALACTOSA A MANOSA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 1:1 Y 1:1,5.
