Definitions
- the invention relates to a connection profile for components adjacent to plaster, in particular for window or door frames and roller shutter profiles, with a plastering leg and a sealing leg, which has fastening means on the component side, wherein the sealing leg is connected to the plastering leg at least during the installation of the connection profile on the component, and wherein the plastering leg has a plastering web aligned essentially perpendicular to the sealing leg, as well as a plastering strip with a plastering edge.
- connection profile for components adjacent to plaster has become known, which has a sealing leg that is attached to the component with an adhesive layer and a sealing tape in between.
- the sealing tape and adhesive can be designed as double-sided adhesive tape, for example.
- the sealing leg also has a plaster strip that extends from the sealing leg and projects diagonally towards the component, which, together with a plastering web that projects essentially perpendicularly from the sealing leg, forms a plaster receiving space.
- a detachable protective tab is formed on the front edge of the plaster strip over a material constriction, to which a protective film can be attached.
- the sealing leg and the sealing tape form a closed receiving space that is rectangular in cross-section and in which an expanding foam element is arranged in its compressed form.
- the sealing tape is attached to the sealing leg with an adhesive whose holding force is adjusted in relation to that of the component-side adhesive in such a way that in the event of a pulling or shearing movement, the sealing tape detaches from the sealing leg and releases the expanding, elastic foam element.
- the AT 506 410 describes a connection profile for components adjacent to plaster, such as window and door frames, as well as roller shutter elements, with a sealing leg that can be attached to the component with a sealing tape, and with a plastering leg that has a plastering strip.
- the sealing leg has a receptacle for at least one folding element, which is initially closed by the sealing tape, whereby the sealing tape detaches from the sealing leg and releases the folding element when there is a relative movement that increases the gap between the plaster and the component.
- connection profile for components adjacent to plaster is known with a two-part base leg, the inner leg of which has component-side fastening means and is connected to an outer leg aligned parallel to the inner leg, wherein the outer leg has a plastering leg that projects essentially perpendicularly thereto, as well as a plaster strip with a plaster removal edge.
- An elastic sealing element or sealing tape is arranged between the inner leg and the outer leg, which is suitable for at least partially compensating component movements between the plaster and the component, wherein the inner leg, which is fixed to the component with an adhesive layer or a thin adhesive tape, has a sealing lip that rests on the component.
- the EP 3 477 013 A1 a similar connection profile, which also has a large-volume sealing element or sealing strip between a sealing leg attached to the adjacent component and a plastering leg.
- the sealing leg also has hooking elements or a catch, with corresponding hooking elements being formed on the plastering leg, so that the two hooking elements essentially form a click lock.
- a click lock does indeed guarantee a certain relative movement of the profile parts in the longitudinal direction of the profile, but not in the other two spatial directions of a desired 3D mobility.
- the object of the invention is to improve a connection profile (window connection profile FAP and roller shutter connection profile RAP) for components adjacent to plaster (window or door frames as well as roller shutter profiles) and their production in such a way that both the production and the assembly are simplified, whereby a permanent, tight seal between the plaster and the built-in part is to be ensured even when relative movements occur in all three spatial directions.
- this is achieved in that the sealing leg and the plastering leg form, at least during assembly of the connection profile, a robust, substantially closed receiving space in which a soft, flange- or loop-shaped sealing means made of a material with higher elasticity compared to the sealing leg or plastering leg is arranged.
- a connecting device is formed between the sealing leg and the plastering leg at the end of the connecting profile facing away from the plastering edge, which is engaged at least during storage and assembly of the connecting profile and largely consists of an extrudate that is softer than the sealing leg or plastering leg, which can preferably be extruded in the same work step with the production of the sealing leg and the plastering leg.
- the invention does not have a sealing strip according to the EP 3 477 013 A1 or the EP 4 036 346 A1 required, which brings functional and manufacturing advantages.
- the sealing leg and the plastering leg are connected at least during the installation of the connection profile via the end region of a detachable protective leg.
- the detachable protective leg can be attached in the area of the plastering edge of the plastering strip and at the opposite end area of the sealing leg, whereby after its separation - after the plastering work has been completed - the receiving space can open and independent 3D mobility between the sealing leg and the plastering leg is ensured.
- the window or door connection profile 10 shown for components 30 adjacent to plaster 31 has a sealing leg 11 which is fixed in position to the component 30 by means of an adhesive tape 17, e.g. a double-sided adhesive tape, and a plastering leg 12 arranged opposite thereto.
- the plastering leg 12 has a plastering web 13 projecting essentially perpendicular to the sealing leg 11, and a plastering strip 14 with a front plastering edge 15.
- sealing means here in the form of a thin-walled sealing loop 21, made of a material that has a higher elasticity compared to the sealing leg 11 or cleaning leg 12.
- the sealing loop 21 can, for example, consist of soft PVC/TPE material.
- the loop-shaped sealing means is designed as a sealing loop 21 which is fastened to the sealing leg 11 on the one hand and to the cleaning leg 12 on the other hand and which is arranged folded in the receiving space 16 at least during assembly.
- the receiving space 16 for the sealing loop 21 is closed at the rear, i.e. on the side facing away from the plaster removal edge 15, by a support and connecting device 25 between the sealing leg 11 and the plaster leg 12, which is engaged at least during storage and assembly of the connection profile 10 and consists largely of an extrudate (e.g. soft PVC/PTE) which is softer than the sealing leg 11 or plaster leg 12.
- an extrudate e.g. soft PVC/PTE
- the connecting device 25 has a connecting web 26 which is attached to the sealing leg 11 preferably by coextrusion and is movably connected to the cleaning leg 12 by means of a tongue and groove connection 27 in the longitudinal direction of the profile - as well as in a direction away from the sealing leg 11.
- the connecting web 26 made of a soft extrudate is H-shaped in cross section and has a U-shaped receptacle 32 for a tongue 29 arranged on the cleaning leg 12 (see Fig. 1b ).
- the spring 29 can have notches or teeth for better grip in the U-shaped receptacle 32.
- the connecting web 26 could also be attached to the plaster leg 12 and have a tongue and groove connection 27 to the sealing leg 11 (see Fig. 3a, Fig. 3b ).
- the sealing leg 11 and the plastering leg 12 are connected via the end region of a detachable protective leg 28.
- the end region of the protective leg 28 can have a T-shaped widening as shown.
- connection profile 10 with the receiving space 16 closed on both sides for the sealing loop 21 facilitates handling both when gluing the profile onto the component 30 and during plastering work.
- the detachable protective leg 28 is fastened both in the area of the plaster removal edge 15 of the plaster strip 14 and at the opposite end area of the sealing leg 11, whereby after its separation (double tear-off) - after completion of the plastering work - the receiving space 16 is opened and an independent 3D mobility between the sealing leg 11 and the plaster leg 12 is ensured.

The object of the invention is to improve a connection profile (window connection profile FAP and roller shutter connection profile RAP) for components adjacent to plaster (window or door frames as well as roller shutter profiles) and their production in such a way that both the production and the assembly are simplified, whereby a permanent, tight seal between the plaster and the built-in part is to be ensured even when relative movements occur in all three spatial directions.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the sealing leg and the plastering leg form, at least during assembly of the connection profile, a robust, substantially closed receiving space in which a soft, flange- or loop-shaped sealing means made of a material with higher elasticity compared to the sealing leg or plastering leg is arranged.
In particular, it is provided that a connecting device is formed between the sealing leg and the plastering leg at the end of the connecting profile facing away from the plastering edge, which is engaged at least during storage and assembly of the connecting profile and largely consists of an extrudate that is softer than the sealing leg or plastering leg, which can preferably be extruded in the same work step with the production of the sealing leg and the plastering leg.
According to a preferred embodiment, the sealing leg and the plastering leg are connected at least during the installation of the connection profile via the end region of a detachable protective leg.
The detachable protective leg can be attached in the area of the plastering edge of the plastering strip and at the opposite end area of the sealing leg, whereby after its separation - after the plastering work has been completed - the receiving space can open and independent 3D mobility between the sealing leg and the plastering leg is ensured.
