Definitions
- the invention relates to an illuminated electrical installation device such as a switch or button, having a base with fastening means for mounting along a mounting direction in a mounting opening in a mounting wall. Furthermore, the electrical installation device has a design rocker that can be moved parallel to the installation direction via a wallpaper compensation area. A design frame that rests on the mounting wall and frames the design rocker can be attached between the design rocker and the base. An electrical switching arrangement is arranged in the base, which is in mechanical operative connection with the design rocker and can be electrically connected to a lighting element. The invention also relates to such an electrical installation device with a light transmission element.
- An exemplary electrical installation device is from the EP 3 059 819 A1 and from the DE102009049192 known.
- the electrical installation device has a support ring as a fastening means for the base for mounting in a mounting opening.
- a clamping piece that can be displaced relative to the base in the assembly direction over a certain displacement range is pushed onto the support ring and clamped into the support ring.
- the clamping piece serves, on the one hand, to clamp the design frame between the clamping piece and the support ring/wall and thus to attach the design frame to the base and, on the other hand, as a storage for the design rocker placed on the clamping piece and surrounded by the design frame.
- the design rocker is designed in such a way that in the displacement area, regardless of the displacement position, it establishes a mechanical operative connection with the base or with an internal actuating element formed on the base, such as a rocker switch.
- the movability of the clamping piece and the design rocker enables so-called wallpaper or plaster compensation over a compensation area in the assembly direction. This ensures in particular that the electrical installation device functions reliably with switching forces that are as homogeneous as possible with different layers of wallpaper, paint or plaster applied to the support ring.
- the displacement area corresponds to a possible wallpaper compensation area, based on the total thickness of the wallpaper, paint or plaster layers applied to the support ring.
- this electrical installation device has a lighting module with a lower shell and a lighting unit.
- the lower shell has a form-fitting locking mechanism in one
- the receiving space of a base housing is permanently mounted.
- the lighting unit has a circuit board, a light-guiding element and a cover plate, with the circuit board and the cover plate being movably mounted in the lower shell via several springs.
- the cover plate, the circuit board and the light-guiding element have a central access opening for the rotatable switching element.
- the lighting unit is specially adapted for an electrical installation device with a rotatable switching element and therefore cannot be used flexibly for other types of electrical installation devices.
- the assembly of the lighting unit is complex, and the circuit board is arranged relatively unprotected in the lower shell.
- the invention is based on the object of providing an illuminated electrical installation device that enables the maximum possible luminance with the highest possible homogeneity on the light exit element of the design rocker and at the same time ensures simple installation and the highest possible electrical safety, allowing a wide range of usability with different types of switches shall be.
- the position of the lighting element can adapt to the displacement position of the design rocker depending on the respective installation situation and in particular depending on the thickness of the applied wallpaper or plaster layers.
- This enables the minimum and, in particular, homogeneous distance between the lighting element and the light exit element of the design rocker. In addition, this enables particularly simple installation and, in particular, simple retrofitting of a lighting element.
- the design rocker includes any external actuating element that is both visually detected by a user and on which the user acts to operate the electrical installation device.
- any pushbutton with a displaceability parallel to the mounting direction and rockers, which are rotatably mounted about a pivot axis formed perpendicular to the mounting direction, are to be understood by the term design rocker.
- the lighting element is inserted from the outside in an insertion direction into an outwardly open receiving space of the base.
- guide surfaces that laterally enclose the lighting element are formed in the inner wall of the receiving space for guiding and laterally delimiting the lighting element during displacement parallel to the mounting direction. This enables a compact installation space. Furthermore, the guide surfaces prevent the lighting element from tilting when it is moved parallel to the mounting direction.
- At least two access openings for electrically contacting the switching arrangement with the lighting element are expediently arranged in a floor of the receiving space.
- the access openings in the floor of the recording room avoid complex cabling and the resulting power losses.
- the lighting element has a housing.
- it has a housing that is divided perpendicular to the mounting direction and has an upper housing part and a lower housing part.
- the housing in particular has an inner assembly space, which is preferably accessible through a two-part design of the housing.
- the assembly space is used to arrange and protect electrical components, e.g. B. conductive metal components, a circuit board or a lamp.
- the upper housing part and the lower housing part can be connected via an elastic film hinge.
- the upper part of the housing and the Lower housing part designed to be reconnectable to one another.
- a film hinge advantageously reduces the risk of incorrect assembly and the loss of one of the two housing parts.
- a completely separate split housing has the advantage of a more accessible assembly space.
- an electronic circuit board with contact areas for electrically contacting the electrical switching arrangement of the base is arranged in the lighting element, in particular in the housing.
- the electrical contact is expediently carried out via contact elements that are movable parallel to the mounting direction.
- at least one light source preferably an LED, is arranged on the side of the circuit board facing the design rocker.
- the circuit board and the light source arranged on it enable a space-saving structure that can be produced in pre-assembly. This structure can be easily and quickly changed in the event of damage or installed in the lighting element during initial installation.
- the circuit board is in particular mounted in the assembly space of the housing and is protected by it.
- the lighting element and the base have cooperating holding means.
- the movement of the lighting element in the insertion direction is limited in particular by a stop surface of the base.
- the bottom of the receiving space preferably forms the stop surface for the lighting element in the insertion direction.
- the movement of the lighting element against the insertion direction is limited by the holding means at least up to a certain release force.
- the holding means are preferably designed as a force-fitting locking connection in the direction of insertion and against the direction of insertion.
- the holding means are in particular designed in such a way that a required assembly force in the insertion direction is smaller than the required release force against the insertion direction.
- the ramps designed for the force-fitting locking connection can have a different gradient, so that the ramp acting in the opposite direction to the insertion direction is designed to be steeper than the ramp acting in the insertion direction.
- the lighting element and the receiving space are preferably designed in such a way that the lighting element can be used in the receiving space pivoted circumferentially by 90 ° or 180 ° about a center point of the receiving space.
- a further advantage is that if the lighting element is to be contacted with the switching arrangement through the access openings, the lighting element can be universally adapted to the switching arrangement actually present by pivoting around the circumference. This makes the lighting element more universally applicable, which reduces production costs.
- the function of the switching arrangement of the electrical installation device can be subsequently changed by different cabling, with the lighting element being able to be easily adapted to the change.
- the lighting element advantageously has at least two guide elements arranged on its wall facing the base.
- These guide elements preferably each guide a contact element that is movably mounted parallel to the mounting direction.
- the guide elements prevent the contact elements from being contacted incorrectly and/or from jamming, particularly when shifted parallel to the mounting direction. The risk of the contact elements breaking off and bending is also reduced by means of the guide elements.
- the contact elements are in electrical connection, in particular, on the one hand through the access opening in the insertion direction in the bottom of the receiving space of the base with the electrical switching arrangement in the base and, on the other hand, with the electrical contact area of a printed circuit board arranged in the lighting element.
- the receiving space for the lighting element is annular and faces against the mounting direction Design rocker opened. This enables easy installation and replacement of the lighting element without dismantling the base from the mounting opening.
- a light transmission element is designed to be displaceable over the wallpaper compensation area and forms a light guide channel, which creates a lateral offset directed perpendicular to the mounting direction for light guidance from the lens of the lighting element to a light exit element of the design rocker.
- the light transmission element advantageously prevents the light from being scattered.
- the light can be transmitted to the design rocker with almost no loss due to the low scattering, with a light exit point in the design rocker being able to be arranged almost anywhere on the design rocker.
- the light can advantageously emerge from the design rocker centered on the design rocker, which is of central importance for a neutral and tidy appearance.
- the light transmission element is preferably in contact with a light exit element of the design rocker at one end, regardless of a switch position of the electrical installation device, and in contact with the lens of the lighting element at the other end.

Description
The invention relates to an illuminated electrical installation device such as a switch or button, having a base with fastening means for mounting along a mounting direction in a mounting opening in a mounting wall.
The electrical installation device has a support ring as a fastening means for the base for mounting in a mounting opening. When installing the electrical installation device, a clamping piece that can be displaced relative to the base in the assembly direction over a certain displacement range is pushed onto the support ring and clamped into the support ring. The clamping piece serves, on the one hand, to clamp the design frame between the clamping piece and the support ring/wall and thus to attach the design frame to the base and, on the other hand, as a storage for the design rocker placed on the clamping piece and surrounded by the design frame. The design rocker is designed in such a way that in the displacement area, regardless of the displacement position, it establishes a mechanical operative connection with the base or with an internal actuating element formed on the base, such as a rocker switch.
The movability of the clamping piece and the design rocker enables so-called wallpaper or plaster compensation over a compensation area in the assembly direction. This ensures in particular that the electrical installation device functions reliably with switching forces that are as homogeneous as possible with different layers of wallpaper, paint or plaster applied to the support ring. In this respect, the displacement area corresponds to a possible wallpaper compensation area, based on the total thickness of the wallpaper, paint or plaster layers applied to the support ring.
In the case of such electrical installation devices, it has been shown that the luminance on a light exit element of a design rocker to display an electrical status of the switching arrangement or to display the position of the electrical installation device in darkened rooms varies depending on the installation situation, switching position and in particular depending on the layers of wallpaper or plaster applied to the support ring . As a result, in some cases the luminance is not sufficient to reliably display the electrical status of the switching arrangement or to clearly mark the position of the electrical installation device. Particularly in rooms or buildings in which several electrical installation devices have been installed, each with layers of plaster, paint or wallpaper of different thicknesses, this creates an undesirable inhomogeneous appearance when displaying the various electrical installation devices.
In addition, it has been shown that in the case of long electrical connection paths, for example if the position of the light exit element is to be arranged centrally and the electrical connection paths through the electrical installation device therefore have to be routed in a more complex manner, there is a higher safety risk due to possible spark formation from an electrical switching arrangement in the base to the lighting element or short circuits.
The invention is based on the object of providing an illuminated electrical installation device that enables the maximum possible luminance with the highest possible homogeneity on the light exit element of the design rocker and at the same time ensures simple installation and the highest possible electrical safety, allowing a wide range of usability with different types of switches shall be.
The object is achieved according to the invention by the features of claim 1. Characterized in that the lighting element is arranged displaceably mounted directly on the base parallel to the mounting direction over a region between a minimum position and a maximum position, corresponding at least to the wallpaper compensation area, and the lighting element is subjected to a displacement force by at least one spring means counter to the mounting direction in the direction of the maximum position is, the position of the lighting element can adapt to the displacement position of the design rocker depending on the respective installation situation and in particular depending on the thickness of the applied wallpaper or plaster layers. This enables the minimum and, in particular, homogeneous distance between the lighting element and the light exit element of the design rocker. In addition, this enables particularly simple installation and, in particular, simple retrofitting of a lighting element.
In the sense of the invention, the design rocker includes any external actuating element that is both visually detected by a user and on which the user acts to operate the electrical installation device. In this sense, in particular, any pushbutton with a displaceability parallel to the mounting direction and rockers, which are rotatably mounted about a pivot axis formed perpendicular to the mounting direction, are to be understood by the term design rocker.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the lighting element is inserted from the outside in an insertion direction into an outwardly open receiving space of the base. In particular, guide surfaces that laterally enclose the lighting element are formed in the inner wall of the receiving space for guiding and laterally delimiting the lighting element during displacement parallel to the mounting direction. This enables a compact installation space. Furthermore, the guide surfaces prevent the lighting element from tilting when it is moved parallel to the mounting direction.
At least two access openings for electrically contacting the switching arrangement with the lighting element are expediently arranged in a floor of the receiving space. The access openings in the floor of the recording room avoid complex cabling and the resulting power losses.
Practically, the lighting element has a housing. Particularly preferably, it has a housing that is divided perpendicular to the mounting direction and has an upper housing part and a lower housing part. The housing in particular has an inner assembly space, which is preferably accessible through a two-part design of the housing. In particular, the assembly space is used to arrange and protect electrical components, e.g. B. conductive metal components, a circuit board or a lamp. Particularly advantageously, the upper housing part and the lower housing part can be connected via an elastic film hinge. Alternatively, the upper part of the housing and the Lower housing part designed to be reconnectable to one another. A film hinge advantageously reduces the risk of incorrect assembly and the loss of one of the two housing parts. A completely separate split housing, however, has the advantage of a more accessible assembly space.
Preferably, an electronic circuit board with contact areas for electrically contacting the electrical switching arrangement of the base is arranged in the lighting element, in particular in the housing. The electrical contact is expediently carried out via contact elements that are movable parallel to the mounting direction. Furthermore, at least one light source, preferably an LED, is arranged on the side of the circuit board facing the design rocker. The circuit board and the light source arranged on it enable a space-saving structure that can be produced in pre-assembly. This structure can be easily and quickly changed in the event of damage or installed in the lighting element during initial installation. The circuit board is in particular mounted in the assembly space of the housing and is protected by it.
In an advantageous embodiment, the lighting element and the base have cooperating holding means. The movement of the lighting element in the insertion direction is limited in particular by a stop surface of the base. The bottom of the receiving space preferably forms the stop surface for the lighting element in the insertion direction. However, the movement of the lighting element against the insertion direction is limited by the holding means at least up to a certain release force. For this purpose, the holding means are preferably designed as a force-fitting locking connection in the direction of insertion and against the direction of insertion. The holding means are in particular designed in such a way that a required assembly force in the insertion direction is smaller than the required release force against the insertion direction. For this purpose, in particular, the ramps designed for the force-fitting locking connection can have a different gradient, so that the ramp acting in the opposite direction to the insertion direction is designed to be steeper than the ramp acting in the insertion direction. This enables easy installation of the lighting element and a limitation of the displacement range of the lighting element in the Recording space and prevents the lighting element from falling off the base.
In order to maximize the adaptability of the electrical installation device, the lighting element and the receiving space are preferably designed in such a way that the lighting element can be used in the receiving space pivoted circumferentially by 90 ° or 180 ° about a center point of the receiving space. A further advantage is that if the lighting element is to be contacted with the switching arrangement through the access openings, the lighting element can be universally adapted to the switching arrangement actually present by pivoting around the circumference. This makes the lighting element more universally applicable, which reduces production costs. Furthermore, the function of the switching arrangement of the electrical installation device can be subsequently changed by different cabling, with the lighting element being able to be easily adapted to the change.
However, the lighting element advantageously has at least two guide elements arranged on its wall facing the base. These guide elements preferably each guide a contact element that is movably mounted parallel to the mounting direction. The guide elements prevent the contact elements from being contacted incorrectly and/or from jamming, particularly when shifted parallel to the mounting direction. The risk of the contact elements breaking off and bending is also reduced by means of the guide elements. In practice, in one embodiment of the invention, the contact elements are in electrical connection, in particular, on the one hand through the access opening in the insertion direction in the bottom of the receiving space of the base with the electrical switching arrangement in the base and, on the other hand, with the electrical contact area of a printed circuit board arranged in the lighting element.
In an advantageous embodiment, the receiving space for the lighting element is annular and faces against the mounting direction Design rocker opened. This enables easy installation and replacement of the lighting element without dismantling the base from the mounting opening.
In an advantageous embodiment, a light transmission element is designed to be displaceable over the wallpaper compensation area and forms a light guide channel, which creates a lateral offset directed perpendicular to the mounting direction for light guidance from the lens of the lighting element to a light exit element of the design rocker. The light transmission element advantageously prevents the light from being scattered. Furthermore, the light can be transmitted to the design rocker with almost no loss due to the low scattering, with a light exit point in the design rocker being able to be arranged almost anywhere on the design rocker. In this context, the light can advantageously emerge from the design rocker centered on the design rocker, which is of central importance for a neutral and tidy appearance.
In this sense, the light transmission element is preferably in contact with a light exit element of the design rocker at one end, regardless of a switch position of the electrical installation device, and in contact with the lens of the lighting element at the other end. The advantage is that the luminance is constant regardless of the switching position and/or the installation situation.
