Definitions
- the invention relates to a profile system for a sliding door or sliding window arrangement for installation in a sloping window section of a building, for example a sliding door or sliding roof window.
- sliding window arrangements are known in many ways.
- a sliding window arrangement in particular a roof sliding window, is described, with a guide frame and a sliding window frame having a window pane and mounted in the guide frame so as to be displaceable in a displacement direction by means of a guide.
- a sliding window is known with a surface cutout in a roof-framing window frame, which has two guide legs arranged parallel to the direction of sliding and two transverse legs arranged perpendicular to the guide legs, connecting the guide legs to each other at the ends, and with a window sash that can be moved along the window frame, which has one Sliding frame with two longitudinal legs arranged parallel to the guide legs, wherein the window sash is designed to be displaceable parallel to the guide legs, at least partially beyond a heavy leg and with its longitudinal legs leaving the frame at least partially.
- a sliding window assembly known as a roof or facade window with a window profile frame that is slidably guided in a guide frame.
- a guide frame In the guide frame, two or three windows can also be held in a displacement-guided manner on either side.
- the window frame or frames can also be motor-driven and kept sealed against one another via sealing strips.
- a sliding window with a single and multiple window sash for installation in a section of a sloping roof surface is known, with the window sash being arranged in a sliding plane parallel to the sloping surface, having a sash frame comprising a glass pane and on a frame comprising the surface section in the sliding plane of a closed one Position is slidably mounted in an open position, the frame being arranged on the roof surface.
- the object of the invention is to provide a profile system for sliding door and sliding window arrangements develop, which can be used for a wide variety of mounting positions and for individual designs without having to keep a large number of profiles.
- a profile system is proposed with a window frame having two horizontally running window frame legs, which is each formed by a main profile, and at least one casement receiving a glass pane, whose upper and lower horizontally running window frame legs and whose one vertically running window frame leg are each formed by a first window profile .
- the two horizontally extending first sash profiles are guided in guides of the horizontally extending window frame legs or the corresponding main profiles.
- the invention creates a modular system in which a single main profile, ie profiles with identical or the same profile cross-sections, can be used for the upper and lower horizontal frame members.
- the casement carrying the pane consists of three sides, namely the two horizontally extending sides and one vertically extending side, which are also formed from a first casement profile, ie profiles with identical or identical profile cross sections.
- a different profile type is only required for the second leaf frame leg, depending on the respective embodiment.
- the invention makes a modular system available with which the most varied of embodiments of sliding roof doors and sliding roof windows can be implemented without a large number of profile types being required. Accordingly, come in the production of Sliding door and sliding window arrangements only a few tools, such as milling cutters, knives, stops, clamping jaws, etc., are used, which significantly reduces the technical and financial outlay compared to the known profile systems. Storage costs are also reduced because only a few profile types are required.
- a vertical frame leg which is also formed by the main profile, extends between the horizontally running frame legs.
- this sliding door or sliding window arrangement consists of two profile types, namely the main profile and the first sash profile, which leads to an optimization of manufacturing and storage costs.
- the horizontal window frame legs formed by the main profile and one vertical window frame leg can be assembled and prefabricated to form a window frame module.
- a casement module and a window frame module is provided, the horizontally extending upper and lower frame members and a vertical frame member each of a single profile type, once the main profile and on the other the first wing profile are formed.
- a sealing module can also be provided with a second sash profile which forms the outer vertical sash frame leg in the open position of the sash frame and interacts with a connecting profile extending between the horizontally running main profiles of the window frame in the closed position of the sash frame.
- seals are provided on the second wing profile and on the connection profile, which in the sealing position enter into the sealing position with one another.
- Two other profile types are added to the window frame module and the casement profile to complement a frame, namely the connecting profile extending between the horizontal window frame legs and the second casement profile, which closes the casement on its outward-facing vertical side.
- connecting profile and second sash profile are required in order to be able to move the sash profile over the connecting profile and to create a sealing effect of the sash frame in the blind frame in the closed position.
- the corresponding seals are held on protruding receptacles of the second wing profile or the connecting profile, in order to interact with one another in the closed position.
- an insulating module is also provided, with a brush holder arranged on the second wing profile of the wing frame on its outward-pointing long side, the brushes of which interact with the connection profile in the closed position of the wing frame.
- This isolation module can be easily prefabricate and can be attached to the outward-facing longitudinal side of the second wing profile, for example clipped.
- sash frame modules For example, in the case of a two-leaf sliding door or sliding window arrangement with sash frames that can be moved in opposite directions in the open position, these are each formed by sash frame modules, with the respective outer legs of the two sash frames being formed by the two sash profile, the outside of which is closed off by sealing modules.
- the window frame has a continuous upper and lower main profile, with external, vertical connecting profiles completing the frame.
- the mutually facing, vertically running inner casement frame legs of the two casement frames which are each formed by the first casement profile, are held in the closed position by means of a locking module.
- clamp profiles are attached to one of the two mutually facing vertical sash frame legs, which in the closed position of the two sash frames encompass a rod attached to the facing sash leg of the other sash frame.
- the two sash frames are held securely and weatherproof.
- holders for brushes can be provided on the clamp profiles, which open in the closed position of the two casement frames Opposite sides of the rod come into contact, whereby the weather resistance of the system is further improved.
- the fixed casement on the frame for example screwed.
- Both wing frames are each formed by a wing frame module, the vertically running inner wing frame leg of the fixed wing frame being formed by the second wing profile and that of the sliding wing frame by a third wing frame profile.
- a third casement profile is also required here, which in the closed position interacts with the vertically running second casement profile of the fixed casement frame for a weatherproof closure.
- the insulating modules described above are preferably arranged on the second and third casement profile, the brushes of which interact with the respective frame of the other casement in the closed position.
- an insulating module is usually attached to the second casement module on the vertically extending outer side of its vertically extending frame leg. For manufacturing reasons, however, the insulating module is manufactured separately.
- the brush holder arranged on the vertically running leaf frame leg of the fixed leaf frame to be designed as a cover which extends outwards over the cover frame profile. This is intended to achieve both tightness and insulation at the same time.
- the modular system according to the invention can also be used advantageously for a four-leaf sliding door or sliding window arrangement, with two centrally arranged sash frames that can be slid in opposite directions and two outer, fixed sash frames.
- the two sash frames which are arranged in the middle of the sliding door or sliding window arrangement and can be displaced in opposite directions, are held in the closed position by the locking module.
- the first airfoil can consist of a bottom skin and a top skin made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy.
- Two plastic webs are preferably inserted between the two shells and insulation is placed in the space created in order to achieve the required U-value, i.e. heat transfer value, of the window or door.
- the second wing profile consists of the same upper shell as the first profile.
- the lower shell also has a seat for the seal, which depending on the design of the sliding door or Sliding window assembly interacts either with the seal on the connection profile or with the seal on the third sash profile in the closed position.
- the inner plastic web of the second wing profile is designed as in the first wing profile, the outer web has an additional extension for clipping to the brush module. In the area of the plastic webs, insulation is again introduced to insulate and create a cold bridge.
- the third airfoil consists of the lower shell of the first airfoil.
- the upper shell has an additional receptacle for the seal, which in the embodiment with a sliding frame under a fixed casement interacts with the seal of the fixed casement or on the second casement profile.
- the inner plastic bar is designed like the first wing profile, the outer bar has an additional extension for clipping to the brush module.
- the third sash profile now has a seat for the seal on the lower shell, which in the sealing position interacts with the seal of the sash frame leg of the other sash. Insulating material is again introduced in the area between the at least two webs.
- the main profile of the frame also consists of an aluminum or aluminum alloy lower shell with a chamber for housing the motor or manual drive guide, as will be described later.
- two plastic bars are attached to the lower shell, to which an upper shell made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy is connected. Insulating material is introduced into the space between the webs in order to achieve the required heat transfer value.
- a notch can be provided in the lower area of the main profile so that the motor can be placed and fixed or screwed on in the profile.
- the other necessary components can be pushed into the lower shell through the opening on the front side of the profile. Once the motor is installed, the notch can be closed again with a panel or the like.
- the profile system can also be equipped with a manual or motorized drive, with the main profile of the sliding door or sliding window arrangement having at least one chamber for accommodating a manual or motorized drive for the sliding frame(s).
- the connecting link between the carriage and the sash profile can be L-shaped, with a sliding piece preferably made of plastic, in particular polyamide, being provided on the leg of the L-shaped connecting link connected to the displaceable sash frame, which slide piece slides on a profile section of the main profile slides. This also contributes to the smooth running of the mechanical drive.
- this is preferably designed as a spindle drive, which is provided in the chamber of the main profile for moving the respective wing profile and via one, preferably two in axial distance from each other arranged spindle nuts is connected to the movable casement.
- Silent opening and closing of the sash frame is possible with both motorized and manual drives.

However, the formation of the profiles of glareable and sliding sash or sash frames with one another is not described in the prior art.
The disadvantage of the known sliding window arrangements is that a large number of profiles are required for the respective application. This leads to higher production costs, but also to higher storage costs.
Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to provide a profile system for sliding door and sliding window arrangements develop, which can be used for a wide variety of mounting positions and for individual designs without having to keep a large number of profiles.
This problem is solved by a profile system with the features of
According to the invention, a profile system is proposed with a window frame having two horizontally running window frame legs, which is each formed by a main profile, and at least one casement receiving a glass pane, whose upper and lower horizontally running window frame legs and whose one vertically running window frame leg are each formed by a first window profile . The two horizontally extending first sash profiles are guided in guides of the horizontally extending window frame legs or the corresponding main profiles.
The invention creates a modular system in which a single main profile, ie profiles with identical or the same profile cross-sections, can be used for the upper and lower horizontal frame members. The casement carrying the pane consists of three sides, namely the two horizontally extending sides and one vertically extending side, which are also formed from a first casement profile, ie profiles with identical or identical profile cross sections. A different profile type is only required for the second leaf frame leg, depending on the respective embodiment.
The invention makes a modular system available with which the most varied of embodiments of sliding roof doors and sliding roof windows can be implemented without a large number of profile types being required.
In one embodiment of the invention, it is provided that a vertical frame leg, which is also formed by the main profile, extends between the horizontally running frame legs. The guides in the window frame legs, in which the window frame is guided, forms a receptacle in the case of the vertical window frame leg, in which the window frame engages with its vertically extending window frame leg or its window profile in the closed position. Even this sliding door or sliding window arrangement consists of two profile types, namely the main profile and the first sash profile, which leads to an optimization of manufacturing and storage costs.
Since there are often sliding doors or sliding windows with identical dimensions in a building for reasons of symmetry, the horizontal window frame legs formed by the main profile and one vertical window frame leg can be assembled and prefabricated to form a window frame module.
This simplifies the setting up of the machines and also shortens the cycle time during production.
According to the invention, therefore, a casement module and a window frame module is provided, the horizontally extending upper and lower frame members and a vertical frame member each of a single profile type, once the main profile and on the other the first wing profile are formed.
According to the invention, a sealing module can also be provided with a second sash profile which forms the outer vertical sash frame leg in the open position of the sash frame and interacts with a connecting profile extending between the horizontally running main profiles of the window frame in the closed position of the sash frame. For this purpose, seals are provided on the second wing profile and on the connection profile, which in the sealing position enter into the sealing position with one another.
Two other profile types are added to the window frame module and the casement profile to complement a frame, namely the connecting profile extending between the horizontal window frame legs and the second casement profile, which closes the casement on its outward-facing vertical side.
These two other profile types, connecting profile and second sash profile, are required in order to be able to move the sash profile over the connecting profile and to create a sealing effect of the sash frame in the blind frame in the closed position. The corresponding seals are held on protruding receptacles of the second wing profile or the connecting profile, in order to interact with one another in the closed position.
According to the invention, an insulating module is also provided, with a brush holder arranged on the second wing profile of the wing frame on its outward-pointing long side, the brushes of which interact with the connection profile in the closed position of the wing frame. This isolation module can be easily prefabricate and can be attached to the outward-facing longitudinal side of the second wing profile, for example clipped.
With these modules, different sliding door and sliding window arrangements can be implemented in a simple manner.
For example, in the case of a two-leaf sliding door or sliding window arrangement with sash frames that can be moved in opposite directions in the open position, these are each formed by sash frame modules, with the respective outer legs of the two sash frames being formed by the two sash profile, the outside of which is closed off by sealing modules. The window frame has a continuous upper and lower main profile, with external, vertical connecting profiles completing the frame.
It is provided that the mutually facing, vertically running inner casement frame legs of the two casement frames, which are each formed by the first casement profile, are held in the closed position by means of a locking module. For this purpose, clamp profiles are attached to one of the two mutually facing vertical sash frame legs, which in the closed position of the two sash frames encompass a rod attached to the facing sash leg of the other sash frame. As a result, the two sash frames are held securely and weatherproof. This measure makes it possible to use the first casement profile for the mutually facing vertical casement frame legs, ie to use casement frame modules.
According to the invention, holders for brushes can be provided on the clamp profiles, which open in the closed position of the two casement frames Opposite sides of the rod come into contact, whereby the weather resistance of the system is further improved.
In a two-leaf sliding door or sliding window arrangement with a fixed casement and in the open position, seen from the outside, including sliding casement is applied according to the invention, the fixed casement on the frame, for example screwed. Both wing frames are each formed by a wing frame module, the vertically running inner wing frame leg of the fixed wing frame being formed by the second wing profile and that of the sliding wing frame by a third wing frame profile. A third casement profile is also required here, which in the closed position interacts with the vertically running second casement profile of the fixed casement frame for a weatherproof closure.
The insulating modules described above are preferably arranged on the second and third casement profile, the brushes of which interact with the respective frame of the other casement in the closed position.
It should be noted that an insulating module is usually attached to the second casement module on the vertically extending outer side of its vertically extending frame leg. For manufacturing reasons, however, the insulating module is manufactured separately.
According to the invention, it is also possible for the brush holder arranged on the vertically running leaf frame leg of the fixed leaf frame to be designed as a cover which extends outwards over the cover frame profile. This is intended to achieve both tightness and insulation at the same time.
The modular system according to the invention can also be used advantageously for a four-leaf sliding door or sliding window arrangement, with two centrally arranged sash frames that can be slid in opposite directions and two outer, fixed sash frames. The two sash frames, which are arranged in the middle of the sliding door or sliding window arrangement and can be displaced in opposite directions, are held in the closed position by the locking module.
Here, too, the advantage of the modular system is shown again, in that the above-described profile system for a double-leaf sliding door or sliding window arrangement with a fixed sash frame and a sash frame that can be slid underneath in the open position, seen from the outside, with the fixed sash frame being mounted on the window frame and both Casements are each formed by the casement module and the vertically extending inner casement leg of the fixed casement of the second casement and that of the sliding casement of a third casement profile, is simply doubled or mirrored. Only the closing module is still used, as is provided in the double-leaf sliding door or sliding window arrangement with leaves that can be moved in the opposite direction in the open position.
As for the profiles themselves, the first airfoil can consist of a bottom skin and a top skin made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. Two plastic webs are preferably inserted between the two shells and insulation is placed in the space created in order to achieve the required U-value, i.e. heat transfer value, of the window or door.
The second wing profile consists of the same upper shell as the first profile. The lower shell also has a seat for the seal, which depending on the design of the sliding door or Sliding window assembly interacts either with the seal on the connection profile or with the seal on the third sash profile in the closed position. The inner plastic web of the second wing profile is designed as in the first wing profile, the outer web has an additional extension for clipping to the brush module. In the area of the plastic webs, insulation is again introduced to insulate and create a cold bridge.
The third airfoil consists of the lower shell of the first airfoil. The upper shell has an additional receptacle for the seal, which in the embodiment with a sliding frame under a fixed casement interacts with the seal of the fixed casement or on the second casement profile. The inner plastic bar is designed like the first wing profile, the outer bar has an additional extension for clipping to the brush module. In order to achieve a sealing effect with the associated frame leg of the other sash in the closed position, in contrast to the second profile, the third sash profile now has a seat for the seal on the lower shell, which in the sealing position interacts with the seal of the sash frame leg of the other sash. Insulating material is again introduced in the area between the at least two webs.
The main profile of the frame also consists of an aluminum or aluminum alloy lower shell with a chamber for housing the motor or manual drive guide, as will be described later. In turn, two plastic bars are attached to the lower shell, to which an upper shell made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy is connected. Insulating material is introduced into the space between the webs in order to achieve the required heat transfer value.
In the case of the electric drive still to be described, a notch can be provided in the lower area of the main profile so that the motor can be placed and fixed or screwed on in the profile. The other necessary components can be pushed into the lower shell through the opening on the front side of the profile. Once the motor is installed, the notch can be closed again with a panel or the like.
As already described above, the profile system can also be equipped with a manual or motorized drive, with the main profile of the sliding door or sliding window arrangement having at least one chamber for accommodating a manual or motorized drive for the sliding frame(s).
In terms of production and assembly, it is particularly favorable in the case of a manual drive if at least one carriage that can be moved on a rail is provided and is connected to the respective displaceable casement by a connecting member. This drive proves to be very smooth-running due to this construction.
The connecting link between the carriage and the sash profile can be L-shaped, with a sliding piece preferably made of plastic, in particular polyamide, being provided on the leg of the L-shaped connecting link connected to the displaceable sash frame, which slide piece slides on a profile section of the main profile slides. This also contributes to the smooth running of the mechanical drive.
In the case of a motor drive, this is preferably designed as a spindle drive, which is provided in the chamber of the main profile for moving the respective wing profile and via one, preferably two in axial distance from each other arranged spindle nuts is connected to the movable casement.
Silent opening and closing of the sash frame is possible with both motorized and manual drives. The drive proves to be very smooth-running due to its construction. The design of the two drive types according to the invention also makes it possible to achieve a large opening area with corresponding dimensions of the casement.
