Definitions
- One aspect of the invention relates to a cooking appliance according to the preamble of claim 1. Another aspect of the invention relates to a method for assembling a door of a cooking appliance.
- Cooking appliances such as an oven or a steam cooker or a microwave cooker, have doors that close off a cooking chamber at the front.
- the door can only be pivoted about a fixed pivot axis, which can also be retracted into the housing of the cooking appliance and thus into the storage space during the opening movement.
- the door is then arranged in the pushed-in end position at least half, in particular at least 70 percent, in particular at least 80 percent in the storage space.
- a cooking appliance with a retractable door is known.
- a locking unit is provided there, with which a door is secured against unwanted removal from a storage unit.
- a door-side Elevation in a receiving area outside the door.
- the elevation on the door side can be rotated relative to the receiving area, so that a corresponding adjustment is possible in this regard.
- the elevation, which is arranged on the door can be rotated relative to the rest of the door in order to assume different positions in the receiving area outside the door. This allows a locked or an unlocked position to be achieved.
- the corresponding rotation of the elevation can be achieved by a pivoting handle, which is arranged on the door. This handle is connected to the elevation with a corresponding cable pull device, so that a corresponding adjustment of the elevation is possible depending on the rotation of the door handle.
- the cooking appliance also has a cooking chamber. This is formed in the housing.
- the cooking appliance also has a door for closing the cooking chamber.
- the cooking appliance has a guide device with which the door is guided when it moves.
- the cooking appliance has a coupling device with which the door is coupled to the guide device outside the door.
- a non-destructively detachable coupling is formed between the door and this guide device outside the door.
- This detachable connection is the interface between the door and the guide device.
- the coupling device has a locking device with which the coupled state between the door and the guide device can be locked and unlocked.
- the locking device has a bearing support outside the door with a receptacle.
- the door has a bearing element. This is provided so that in the coupled state between the door and the guide device, this bearing element engages in the receptacle of the bearing support.
- the locking device has a tubular sleeve arranged outside the door. This means that this sleeve is not arranged on the door itself.
- This sleeve is rotatably mounted on the bearing support. In the coupled state, this sleeve can be arranged in a first rotational position in an unlocking position. In this regard, an unlocked state is then set between the sleeve and the bearing element and thus the locking device. In the coupled state between the bearing element and the bearing support, the sleeve can be arranged in a different rotational position as intended. This second rotational position is a locking position. This sets a locking position between the sleeve and the bearing element and thus the locking device.
- the sleeve has at least one driver.
- the driver When the door is moved, the driver is automatically contacted by a contact element of the door or by a contact element of the guide device due to this driver.
- the driver is also arranged and designed in such a way that after contact, when the door is moved further, the sleeve is coupled to the door and can be automatically rotated from the unlocking position to the locking position.
- the driver when the door is moved, the driver is automatically contacted by a contact element external to the door, namely a contact element of the guide device. Based on this contact state, when the door is moved further, the sleeve can be automatically rotated from the unlocking position to the locking position due to the relative movement of the door to the coupling element or can be rotated into this corresponding locking position.
- the invention provides a concept in which the locked state between the bearing element and the bearing support is automatically and safely set by the sleeve. It is not necessary for a user or an installer to directly grasp the sleeve and turn it from the unlocking position to the locking position. Since this can be forgotten during the assembly process and the unlocking position then remains permanently, the invention counteracts this. By automatically setting the locking position, the setting of this locked state can no longer be forgotten.
- This automatic setting is made particularly simple and safe by the proposed concept. No more extensive mechanical chains of action are required in this regard. required. Rather, only the door has to be moved in order to then directly achieve this resulting indirect automatic adjustment of the sleeve from the unlocking position to the locking position.
- the sleeve is a component external to the door, it is no longer necessary for extensive mechanical concepts to be present on the door itself to bring about such indirect mechanical actuation of an element arranged on the door itself, as is the case, for example, in the prior art when raising it.
- the adjustment of an element which enables locking and which is formed by the sleeve in the invention is therefore no longer arranged on the door, but is relocated externally to it.
- no complex mechanical operating principles have to be built up which transfer a movement of an element to an element belonging to the locking device, as is the case in the prior art.
- the bearing element is arranged in a fixed position on the door. Since this no longer needs to be moved, the construction of the door can also be carried out more simply in this respect. By moving the element that needs to be moved relative to other components to set the locked state externally to the door, the locking device is also designed more simply. A very secure mechanism is also created in order to be able to achieve the actual locking state.
- such a sleeve is also a component that can be installed mechanically robustly on other components, in this case the bearing support.
- This also ensures that this rotating part, namely the sleeve, is mechanically stable. Corresponding forces can be absorbed better in this regard and damage to the individual parts can be better avoided.
- the bearing support is also a mechanically stable component that enables the rotating sleeve to be mounted safely and stably. Since the bearing support is therefore also the direct carrier of this sleeve, but also has the receptacle in which the bearing element of the door is to engage, a very local and compact locking concept is also possible here.
- the driver is arranged in a movement path of the door so that when the door is pivoted, the driver is automatically contacted by a contact element on the door, and when the door is pivoted further, the sleeve is motion-coupled to the door and can automatically rotate from the unlocking position to the locking position.
- This operating concept of specifically positioning the driver in this movement path also enables a particularly reliable operating concept. This is because the driver can then actually be contacted in the desired position of the door, thus ensuring that contact between the contact element and the driver is not made too early or too late. In addition, this also ensures that when the door is moved further, the driver and the contact element make contact and the sleeve immediately begins to rotate, which goes hand in hand with the door.
- the sleeve has a casing wall.
- the casing wall has an outer side.
- the casing wall is designed to run around the rotation axis of the sleeve.
- the driver extends from this casing wall, in particular the outer side, radially outwards and thus into a plane perpendicular to this rotation axis.
- this driver is oriented in this direction in a freely cantilevered manner. This makes it possible to achieve a very advantageous coupling concept between the driver and the contact element of the door.
- the sleeve has a casing wall.
- the casing wall has an outer side.
- the casing wall is designed to run around the axis of rotation of the sleeve.
- the driver extends axially from the casing wall. This means that it is designed to protrude from the casing wall in the direction of this axis of rotation.
- the driver is arranged in a freely projecting manner in this axial direction. This can also lead to an advantageous coupling.
- this embodiment is advantageous when a contact element of the guide device is to be contacted with the driver, in particular also directly here. This axially oriented driver can then engage in a design of a contact element of the guide device that is designed laterally in the width direction of the cooking appliance.
- a contact position can be achieved between the guide device and the carrier moving in relation to it. Starting from this direct contact position, the rotary movement of the sleeve can then be automatically generated as the door continues to move due to the fixed contact element of the guide device.
- the above-mentioned orientation of the driver in the radial direction is particularly advantageous when the contact element is arranged directly on the door and in this context is designed to be movement-coupled with the door and then, when the door is pivoted, this door-side contact element comes into direct contact with the driver.
- a rotation axis of the sleeve, about which the sleeve can rotate relative to the bearing element is parallel or coaxial to a pivot axis about which the door can rotate relative to the guide device.
- this rotation axis is oriented in the width direction of the cooking appliance.
- the receptacle in the bearing support has a radially outer end.
- a radial opening is formed at this radially outer end.
- the receptacle is thus open in the radial direction.
- the bearing element of the door can be inserted into the receptacle through this opening.
- linear insertion is provided in this regard.
- the door In this inclined position, the door is then moved linearly in the direction of the receptacle and then the bearing element is pushed linearly into the receptacle via this opening in the receptacle.
- This then achieves a basic coupling state.
- the locking device In this, however, the locking device is not yet locked. Rather, the sleeve is then arranged in the unlocking position. This also applies to the state in which the bearing element has not yet been inserted into the receptacle in the bearing support. Starting from this basic coupling state, the sleeve can then be rotated into the locking position using the scenario explained above.
- the sleeve has a casing wall.
- a recess is formed that only runs around part of the wall.
- the recess is arranged in the same position as the opening in the receptacle when viewed in the azimuthal direction around the axis of rotation of the sleeve, so that the opening is open in the radial direction.
- This cutout in the casing wall, which is open at the edge, also allows the sleeve to be constructed in a geometrically simple manner.
- the sleeve has a casing wall in which a recess is formed that only runs around part of the area.
- the recess in this sleeve is offset from the opening in the azimuthal direction around the axis of rotation of the sleeve. This is such that the opening is closed in the radial direction by the casing wall and the bearing element is locked in the receptacle with respect to radial exit from the opening.
- the casing wall therefore forms a cover or a closure wall for this receptacle at the radially outer end. This means that the bearing element can no longer be pulled out radially from this receptacle.
- a very simple locking concept is also possible, which is nevertheless highly functional and safe.
- the at least one bearing element is arranged in a fixed position on the door.
- the bearing element is therefore not positioned on the door in a rotatable or displaceable manner in the embodiment.
- the bearing element can only be inserted in a first inclined position of the door, which can also be referred to as the coupling assembly position.
- the coupling assembly position is different from the fully open position of the door and different from the fully closed position of the door.
- the door in particular the above-mentioned contact element, which is intended to make contact with the driver, is arranged in an azimuthal direction around the axis of rotation of the sleeve at a distance from the driver.
- a contact position of the door which is different from the first inclined position and in which the driver is just being mechanically contacted by the contact element or such contact is just occurring is a position which is different from the fully open position of the door and a position which is different from the fully closed position of the door.
- the contacting position or the contact position is a second inclined position of the door.
- the contact position is a second inclined position of the door, in which the door is opened further in relation to the vertical than in the first inclined position.
- the contact position can also be a second inclined position, in which the door is opened less in relation to the vertical than in the first inclined position. This means that starting from the first inclined position, the door can be pivoted or moved towards the fully open position in order to then automatically adjust the locking position of the sleeve. In a In this regard, in another embodiment, starting from the first inclined position, the door can then be moved towards the closed position in order to effect a defined adjustment of the locking position of the sleeve.
- the sleeve is designed and has one or more drivers in such a way that the door can be moved from the first inclined position in the direction of the fully closed position in order to adjust the locking position of the sleeve, or can then optionally be moved into a position which is in the direction of the fully open position and then the automatic adjustment of the locking position of the sleeve is also achieved.
- the bearing element of the door is arranged in particular on a lower region of a side edge of the door leaf of the door.
- a bearing element is arranged on the opposite lower regions of the opposite edges of the door leaf.
- the sleeve is fixed in the locking position in the azimuthal direction around the axis of rotation by a fixing device of the cooking appliance. This also maintains the defined locking position. This can prevent the sleeve from turning easily around the axis of rotation, which would cause the locking position to be adjusted again.
- the fixing device can be a snap connection, for example.
- a snap element can snap into a snap element receptacle in the radial direction to the axis of rotation.
- This snap element can be, for example, a spring element or a resilient plastic web or a resilient metal web or a ball preloaded with a spring or the like.
- the door is a hinged door. This means that it is only arranged to pivot on a housing of the cooking appliance.
- the pivot axis in this case can be oriented in the width direction of the door. However, it can be arranged in a fixed position in this respect. This means that the door can only perform a pivoting movement.
- the cooking appliance can have a retractable door.
- the cooking appliance has a storage space. This is formed in the housing. In the vertical direction, it is formed in particular below the cooking chamber. It is separated from the cooking chamber by at least one partition wall.
- the storage space is intended to accommodate the door when the door is retracted into the housing when it is opened.
- the guide device is designed to guide the door when it is moved into the storage space and/or when it is moved out of the storage space.
- the guide device has an engagement area.
- the driver can extend into this as intended, viewed in the width direction of the cooking appliance. In the depth direction of the cooking appliance, this engagement area is limited to the rear by a boundary wall.
- This boundary wall defines a fixed stop for the driver.
- this is a driver that is axially oriented in the direction of the rotation axis of the sleeve. The driver hits this stop when the door is pushed into the storage space, so that when the door is pushed further into the storage space, the sleeve can automatically be rotated about a rotation axis into the locking position. Since this boundary wall is arranged in a fixed position, this corresponding movement scenario of the sleeve is automatically generated when the driver hits this stop.
- the sleeve can be designed or manufactured in one piece. In this context, it can be made from a single material, for example metal. In one embodiment, however, it is also possible to design it from several different materials.
- the sleeve can have an outer sleeve made from a first material and, at least in some areas, an inner sleeve made from a different material.
- the outer sleeve can be made from metal, for example. This means that at least the outer sleeve is mechanically very stable.
- the inner sleeve can be arranged directly on the outer sleeve. For example, it can be glued or molded on or otherwise attached in such a way that it cannot be removed without being destroyed.
- the inner sleeve can be made from plastic, for example.
- this can be a plastic that has greater sliding properties than the material of the outer sleeve.
- the outer ring or the outer sleeve and the inner ring or the inner sleeve can be manufactured as separate components. In particular, they can each be manufactured as one-piece components. They can be connected in a non-destructively detachable manner, for example by means of a plug connection or a snap connection. In such an embodiment, for example, one of the two separate rings or sleeves can be removed from the other and replaced, for example, if it becomes worn.
- the sleeve in particular an outer sleeve, is made of metal, it can also be made of sheet steel, for example.
- top, bottom, front, “back”, “horizontal”, “vertical”, “depth direction”, “width direction”, “height direction” etc. indicate the positions and orientations that occur when the device is used and arranged as intended.
- a cooking appliance 1 in a schematic representation.
- the cooking appliance 1 can be, for example, an oven or a steam cooking appliance or a microwave cooking appliance.
- the cooking appliance 1 has a housing 2.
- a muffle 3 is arranged in the housing 2.
- a cooking chamber 4 is arranged in the housing 2. This is in particular by the walls of the muffle 3.
- the cooking appliance 1 has a front side 5.
- a loading opening 6 is formed on this front side 5, through which the cooking chamber 4 is accessible.
- the cooking appliance 1 also has a door 7.
- the door 7 is arranged to close the cooking chamber 4.
- the door 7 can be a pure hinged door. This means that it is arranged pivotably on the housing 2. A pivot axis in this case then runs in the width direction (x-direction) of the cooking appliance 1. The width direction is oriented perpendicular to the plane of the figure.
- the door 7 is a retractable door. This means that it can be pushed into a storage space 8 of the cooking appliance 1 when the door 7 is opened.
- the storage space 8 is a separate space from the cooking chamber 4. It is arranged in the vertical direction (y-direction) of the cooking appliance 1 below the cooking chamber 4. It is separated from the cooking chamber 4.
- the door 4 is in Fig.1 shown from the side. It can have a handle 9.
- the handle 9 can be fixed or rotatable.
- the door 7 also has a door leaf 10.
- the door leaf 10 can have several separate door panes. In this regard, a front pane and an inner pane can be provided. These are oriented parallel to each other and spaced apart from each other.
- the pane package of the door leaf 10 can also have at least one intermediate pane. These at least two separate panes are kept apart by door profiles.
- Fig.1 For the sake of simplicity, only one door profile 11 is shown.
- a door profile 11 is, viewed in the width direction, a support structure arranged on the left or right, which is designed as a profile beam oriented in the height direction.
- a guide track 12 can also be formed in such a door profile. This is open to the side and thus in the width direction.
- a hinge part 13 of a hinge can engage in this guide track 12, in particular with rollers 14 and 15.
- the hinge part 13 which is shown here in an exploded view like the other components, can be pivoted, for example, about a hinge axis A that is perpendicular to the plane of the figure.
- the door leaf 10 or the door 7 can be moved relative to this hinge part 13. This means that, for example, when the door 7 is opened, the rollers 14 and 15 slide along the guide track 12 and the door 7 can thereby be pivoted about a pivot axis that is horizontal to the plane of the figure and in the shown embodiment can also be retracted into the storage space 8.
- the cooking appliance 1 also has a guide device 16.
- the guide device 16 is designed outside the door. On a folding door, the guide device 16 can, for example, be arranged in a fixed position and only have a corresponding pivoting hinge, which can be coupled to a corresponding part of the door 7 without allowing a corresponding pivoting movement in this respect.
- the guide device 16 also has a guide carriage 17. This guide carriage 17 has opposing guide jaws 18. These are connected to a connecting rod 19 ( Fig.4 ).
- the guide jaws 18 can have sliding elements or rolling elements. With these, the carriage 17 engages directly in opposite guideways 20 ( Fig.1 ).
- This guide carriage 17 of the guide device 16 can thus be arranged so as to be displaceable.
- the hinge part 13 can be arranged in a fixed position and can only be arranged so as to be pivotable about the pivot axis A.
- opposing hinge parts 13 are formed which engage in opposing guide tracks 12 which are formed on the edge sides of the door leaf 10.
- the door 7 is shown in a schematic perspective view.
- the door 7 has a bearing element 21.
- This bearing element 21 arranged on the door side is in particular positioned in a fixed position on the door leaf 10.
- this bearing element 21 is connected to a connecting rod 22 on the door side.
- the door 7 On the opposite side in the width direction (x direction), the door 7 has a further bearing element 21.
- the bearing element 21 can, for example, be a bearing pin protruding outwards in the width direction. This can, for example, be cuboid-shaped.
- the bearing elements 21 are arranged on opposite, lower corner areas of the edge sides of the door leaf 10.
- FIG.1 the state is shown in which the door 7 is decoupled from the guide device 16.
- FIG.3 A perspective sectional view of a partial section of the cooking appliance 1 is shown.
- the coupled state between the door 7 and the guide device 16 is shown here.
- the sectional plane is spanned by the height direction and the depth direction (z-direction).
- An inner pane 23 and a front pane 24 of the door leaf 10 are also shown here as examples.
- a related further door profile 25 as a pane carrier is also shown. This means that there are two parallel door profiles 11 and 25.
- Fig.3 a state is also shown in which the door 7 is coupled to the guide device 16.
- the cooking appliance 1 has a coupling device 26.
- a guide jaw 18 has a bearing support 27. This is designed accordingly for the corresponding opposing slide jaws 18.
- This bearing support 27 has a receptacle 28. This can be a channel or groove. This receptacle 28 is intended to accommodate the opposing bearing elements 21.
- This bearing support 27 with the receptacle 28 is also part of a locking device 29 of the cooking appliance 1.
- Fig.5 a section of the cooking appliance 1 is shown in the area of the locking device 29. Viewed in the width direction, a view from the outside is shown here. In this respect, it is almost a view, as in Fig.1 shown. In contrast, in Fig.3 A sectional view is shown, looking from the inside outwards. Fig.5 therefore represents a Fig.3 from the reverse side. In addition, in Fig.5 a sectional view is shown, which does not look from the inside out, but from the outside in.
- the bearing element 21 is already inserted into the receptacle 28.
- This state is achieved by arranging the door 7 in a coupling assembly position.
- This coupling assembly position is a first inclined position.
- this first inclined position is different from the fully closed position of the door and also different from the fully open position of the door.
- a first inclination of the door 7 is shown.
- the arrow P1 is indicated, takes place in this oblique position, as it is also in Fig.1
- the bearing element 21 is introduced linearly according to the direction of arrow P1 into the receptacle 28.
- the locking device 29 also has a sleeve 30.
- This sleeve 30 is a separate component. It is arranged rotatably directly on the bearing support 27. It therefore surrounds the bearing support 27 on the circumference.
- the axis of rotation B of this sleeve 30 is oriented perpendicular to the plane of the figure.
- the axis of rotation B is also advantageously arranged coaxially to the pivot axis of the door 7.
- the sleeve 30 has at least one driver 31. This driver 31 is formed on an outer side of a casing wall 32 of the sleeve 30.
- the driver 31 is formed in one piece with the sleeve 30.
- the sleeve 30 is rotatable relative to the bearing support 27.
- the sleeve 30 is arranged on this bearing support 27 in an axially secured manner. This means that it is arranged on the bearing support 27 in a positionally secured manner in the direction of the axis of rotation B.
- a snap connection or the like can be provided here.
- the bearing sleeve 30 can be arranged in at least two different rotational positions relative to the bearing socket 27 so that it can rotate thereon.
- a first rotational position is defined by an unlocking position of the locking device 29. In this unlocking position, the receptacle 28 is released in the radial direction. For this purpose, an entrance or an opening 33 of this receptacle 28 is then radially open. In this regard, an opening 33 is thus formed at a radially outer end of this receptacle 28, which is freely accessible in this unlocking position of the sleeve 30.
- This unlocking position of the sleeve 30 is set between the door 7 and the guide device 16 in the dismantled state. This means that when coupled accordingly, the bearing element 21 can be introduced unhindered into the receptacle 28 via this opening and the corresponding opening 33.
- the door 7 is spaced from the driver 31 in this coupling mounting position.
- the door 7 is brought into a second inclined position that is different from the first inclined position.
- the second inclined position can be in an embodiment according to Fig.6 one that is closer to the fully open position.
- the door 5 is therefore opened or pivoted further starting from the first inclined position.
- a contact element 34 of the door 7 contacts the driver 31, as shown in Fig.6 shown.
- Fig.6 Thus, exactly the second pivot position of the door 7 is shown, which represents the mechanical contact between the contact element 34 and the driver 31.
- the locking device 29 has a fixing device 35 in one embodiment.
- This fixing device 35 can fix or hold the unlocking position of the sleeve 30 azimuthally about the axis of rotation A. In a further embodiment, it is additionally or instead possible for a locking position of the sleeve 30 to be fixed by this fixing device 35.
- the fixing device 35 has radially acting snap connections. For this purpose, a snap element that is formed on the inside of the sleeve 30 can snap into snap receptacles that are formed on the outside of the bearing support 27.
- the sleeve 30 can be automatically rotated about the rotation axis B due to the direct contact between the contact element 34 and the driver 31. In this respect, a relative movement of the sleeve 30 relative to the bearing support 27 takes place. As a result, the sleeve 30 is rotated so that the locking position is set. This means that the casing wall 32 of the sleeve 30 is displaced about the rotation axis B so that the receptacle 28 is radially closed. In this respect, locking is then also achieved so that the bearing element 21 can no longer be pulled out of the receptacle 28 in the radial direction via the opening 33.
- a partially circumferential recess 36 on the casing wall 32 is further rotated in the direction of rotation about the axis of rotation B, that it is arranged in the azimuthal direction outside the opening width of the receptacle 28.
- the snap element of the fixing device 35 has left the first snap element receptacle on the outside of the bearing support 27 and is in the Fig.7 shown locking position of the sleeve 30 is snapped into the further snap receptacle located further azimuthally. This locking position is thus also fixed in an advantageous embodiment.
- the sleeve in the locking position has a rotational position in which the driver 31 is in particular again spaced apart from the contact element 34. Since in the embodiment shown the locking position is preferably rotated so far that this rotational position goes beyond the position in which the door 7 has reached the fully open position, it can also be avoided that the sleeve 30 would be damaged by further force acting on it.
- This locking position is therefore advantageously formed in the direction of rotation around the axis of rotation B in such a way that the door 7 has reached the maximum open position with regard to its pivot position. Further pivoting is then no longer provided or no longer possible, so that in this regard no further azimuthal pivoting force can be exerted on the sleeve 30 and in particular the driver 31.
- the locking position of the sleeve 30 is further in the direction of this pivoting direction of the door 7 by a rotation angle greater than 1°, in particular between 3° and 7°, in particular 5°, than a maximally pivoted door 7.
- the coupling element 34 guides the sleeve 31 until the door 7 is fully pivoted open and the subsequent rotational movement of the sleeve up to the locking position is carried out independently.
- this residual rotation of the sleeve 30 can be achieved automatically by a suitably designed snap connection. This can prevent a situation during the subsequent opening and closing of the door 7 in which the door 7 strikes the sleeve 30 and damages it or pushes it out of the locking position.
- Fig.8 is used as a basis and therefore the fully closed position of door 7 is relevant.
- Fig.8 In a further embodiment, an alternative to the previous representations is shown.
- the driver 31 is arranged and projects radially from the outside of the casing wall 32 so that, starting from the Fig.5 shown coupling mounting position of the door 7, the second inclination is towards the fully closed position of the door 7.
- Fig.6 and Fig.7 Therefore, a movement of the door 7 starting from the Fig.5 shown coupling mounting position towards the fully closed position of the door 7 is necessary to contact the corresponding driver 31 and then move it towards the closed position upon further movement and thus effect the automatic adjustment of the locking position of the sleeve 30.
- Fig.9 is a perspective view of the design in Fig.5 shown.
- the recess 36 in the casing wall 32 can be seen.

Cooking appliances, such as an oven or a steam cooker or a microwave cooker, have doors that close off a cooking chamber at the front. In this context, a variety of designs are also known in which the door can only be pivoted about a fixed pivot axis, which can also be retracted into the housing of the cooking appliance and thus into the storage space during the opening movement. The door is then arranged in the pushed-in end position at least half, in particular at least 70 percent, in particular at least 80 percent in the storage space.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a cooking appliance and a method in which or with which the locked state of the door, which is coupled to a guide device external to the door, is reliably set.
This object is achieved by a cooking appliance and a method according to the independent claims.
One aspect of the invention relates to a cooking appliance with a housing. The cooking appliance also has a cooking chamber. This is formed in the housing. The cooking appliance also has a door for closing the cooking chamber. The cooking appliance has a guide device with which the door is guided when it moves. In addition, the cooking appliance has a coupling device with which the door is coupled to the guide device outside the door. In this regard, a non-destructively detachable coupling is formed between the door and this guide device outside the door. This detachable connection is the interface between the door and the guide device. The coupling device has a locking device with which the coupled state between the door and the guide device can be locked and unlocked. The locking device has a bearing support outside the door with a receptacle. The door has a bearing element. This is provided so that in the coupled state between the door and the guide device, this bearing element engages in the receptacle of the bearing support.
The locking device has a tubular sleeve arranged outside the door. This means that this sleeve is not arranged on the door itself. This sleeve is rotatably mounted on the bearing support. The sleeve has at least one driver. When the door is moved, the driver is automatically contacted by a contact element of the door or by a contact element of the guide device due to this driver. The driver is also arranged and designed in such a way that after contact, when the door is moved further, the sleeve is coupled to the door and can be automatically rotated from the unlocking position to the locking position. In an alternative embodiment, when the door is moved, the driver is automatically contacted by a contact element external to the door, namely a contact element of the guide device. Based on this contact state, when the door is moved further, the sleeve can be automatically rotated from the unlocking position to the locking position due to the relative movement of the door to the coupling element or can be rotated into this corresponding locking position.
The invention provides a concept in which the locked state between the bearing element and the bearing support is automatically and safely set by the sleeve. This automatic setting is made particularly simple and safe by the proposed concept. No more extensive mechanical chains of action are required in this regard. required. Rather, only the door has to be moved in order to then directly achieve this resulting indirect automatic adjustment of the sleeve from the unlocking position to the locking position. Since the sleeve is a component external to the door, it is no longer necessary for extensive mechanical concepts to be present on the door itself to bring about such indirect mechanical actuation of an element arranged on the door itself, as is the case, for example, in the prior art when raising it. The adjustment of an element which enables locking and which is formed by the sleeve in the invention is therefore no longer arranged on the door, but is relocated externally to it. In the door itself, therefore, no complex mechanical operating principles have to be built up which transfer a movement of an element to an element belonging to the locking device, as is the case in the prior art.
This makes it much easier to assemble the door itself.
In one embodiment, the bearing element is arranged in a fixed position on the door.
In addition, such a sleeve is also a component that can be installed mechanically robustly on other components, in this case the bearing support. This also ensures that this rotating part, namely the sleeve, is mechanically stable. Corresponding forces can be absorbed better in this regard and damage to the individual parts can be better avoided. Last but not least, the bearing support is also a mechanically stable component that enables the rotating sleeve to be mounted safely and stably. Since the bearing support is therefore also the direct carrier of this sleeve, but also has the receptacle in which the bearing element of the door is to engage, a very local and compact locking concept is also possible here.
In one embodiment, the driver is arranged in a movement path of the door so that when the door is pivoted, the driver is automatically contacted by a contact element on the door, and when the door is pivoted further, the sleeve is motion-coupled to the door and can automatically rotate from the unlocking position to the locking position. This operating concept of specifically positioning the driver in this movement path also enables a particularly reliable operating concept.
In one embodiment, the sleeve has a casing wall. The casing wall has an outer side. The casing wall is designed to run around the rotation axis of the sleeve. The driver extends from this casing wall, in particular the outer side, radially outwards and thus into a plane perpendicular to this rotation axis. In particular, this driver is oriented in this direction in a freely cantilevered manner. This makes it possible to achieve a very advantageous coupling concept between the driver and the contact element of the door.
In a further embodiment, the sleeve has a casing wall. The casing wall has an outer side. The casing wall is designed to run around the axis of rotation of the sleeve. The driver extends axially from the casing wall. This means that it is designed to protrude from the casing wall in the direction of this axis of rotation. In particular, the driver is arranged in a freely projecting manner in this axial direction. This can also lead to an advantageous coupling. In particular, this embodiment is advantageous when a contact element of the guide device is to be contacted with the driver, in particular also directly here. This axially oriented driver can then engage in a design of a contact element of the guide device that is designed laterally in the width direction of the cooking appliance. When the door is moved, a corresponding coupling can then take place here and through the fixed contact element A contact position can be achieved between the guide device and the carrier moving in relation to it. Starting from this direct contact position, the rotary movement of the sleeve can then be automatically generated as the door continues to move due to the fixed contact element of the guide device.
The above-mentioned orientation of the driver in the radial direction, which represents the further embodiment, is particularly advantageous when the contact element is arranged directly on the door and in this context is designed to be movement-coupled with the door and then, when the door is pivoted, this door-side contact element comes into direct contact with the driver.
In one embodiment, a rotation axis of the sleeve, about which the sleeve can rotate relative to the bearing element, is parallel or coaxial to a pivot axis about which the door can rotate relative to the guide device. In particular, this rotation axis is oriented in the width direction of the cooking appliance.
In one embodiment, the receptacle in the bearing support has a radially outer end. A radial opening is formed at this radially outer end. The receptacle is thus open in the radial direction. The bearing element of the door can be inserted into the receptacle through this opening. In particular, linear insertion is provided in this regard. With such a concept, the door, which is still decoupled from the guide device, can be easily coupled to the guide device. A very simple movement guide is possible for this. In particular, it is provided that the decoupled door is arranged in an inclined position oriented at an angle to the vertical. This can be an assembly inclined position or a coupling assembly position. In this inclined position, the door is then moved linearly in the direction of the receptacle and then the bearing element is pushed linearly into the receptacle via this opening in the receptacle. This then achieves a basic coupling state. In this, however, the locking device is not yet locked. Rather, the sleeve is then arranged in the unlocking position. This also applies to the state in which the bearing element has not yet been inserted into the receptacle in the bearing support. Starting from this basic coupling state, the sleeve can then be rotated into the locking position using the scenario explained above.
In one embodiment, the sleeve has a casing wall. In this wall, a recess is formed that only runs around part of the wall. In the locking position, the recess is arranged in the same position as the opening in the receptacle when viewed in the azimuthal direction around the axis of rotation of the sleeve, so that the opening is open in the radial direction. This enables the bearing element to be easily inserted into the receptacle. This cutout in the casing wall, which is open at the edge, also allows the sleeve to be constructed in a geometrically simple manner.
In one embodiment, the sleeve has a casing wall in which a recess is formed that only runs around part of the area. When the sleeve is in the locking position on the bearing support, the recess in this sleeve is offset from the opening in the azimuthal direction around the axis of rotation of the sleeve. This is such that the opening is closed in the radial direction by the casing wall and the bearing element is locked in the receptacle with respect to radial exit from the opening. The casing wall therefore forms a cover or a closure wall for this receptacle at the radially outer end. This means that the bearing element can no longer be pulled out radially from this receptacle. In this regard, a very simple locking concept is also possible, which is nevertheless highly functional and safe.
In one embodiment, the at least one bearing element is arranged in a fixed position on the door. The bearing element is therefore not positioned on the door in a rotatable or displaceable manner in the embodiment. To couple the door to the guide device external to the door, the bearing element can only be inserted in a first inclined position of the door, which can also be referred to as the coupling assembly position. The coupling assembly position is different from the fully open position of the door and different from the fully closed position of the door. In the coupling assembly position of the door, the door, in particular the above-mentioned contact element, which is intended to make contact with the driver, is arranged in an azimuthal direction around the axis of rotation of the sleeve at a distance from the driver. Very specific positions of the door are therefore defined here, in which only the basic assembly and the insertion of the bearing element into the receptacle of the bearing support are possible. In this regard, then only one such coupling mounting position is possible here. In this position, the design of the locking device is also intended such that the contact element is arranged at a distance from the driver in the direction of rotation around the axis of rotation. On the one hand, this ensures that no undesirable rotary movement of the sleeve can be initiated when the door is mounted on the bearing support, even if the contact element would then immediately come into contact with the driver. Undesirable spreading or jamming and a more complex assembly scenario can thus be avoided.
In one embodiment, a contact position of the door which is different from the first inclined position and in which the driver is just being mechanically contacted by the contact element or such contact is just occurring is a position which is different from the fully open position of the door and a position which is different from the fully closed position of the door. This also ensures that, once this contact state has been reached between the contact element and the driver, further movement of the door is possible. This is advantageous in order to initiate the automatic concept of setting the locking position by moving the door, explained above. Since further movement of the door is possible starting from this contact position in which the contact element is just contacting the driver, the automatic rotation of the sleeve from the unlocking position to the locking position can then also be reliably achieved on this further movement path.
In one embodiment, the contacting position or the contact position is a second inclined position of the door.
The contact position is a second inclined position of the door, in which the door is opened further in relation to the vertical than in the first inclined position. The contact position can also be a second inclined position, in which the door is opened less in relation to the vertical than in the first inclined position.
In a further embodiment, it is also possible that the sleeve is designed and has one or more drivers in such a way that the door can be moved from the first inclined position in the direction of the fully closed position in order to adjust the locking position of the sleeve, or can then optionally be moved into a position which is in the direction of the fully open position and then the automatic adjustment of the locking position of the sleeve is also achieved.
The bearing element of the door is arranged in particular on a lower region of a side edge of the door leaf of the door. In particular, a bearing element is arranged on the opposite lower regions of the opposite edges of the door leaf.
In one embodiment, it can be provided that the sleeve is fixed in the locking position in the azimuthal direction around the axis of rotation by a fixing device of the cooking appliance. This also maintains the defined locking position. This can prevent the sleeve from turning easily around the axis of rotation, which would cause the locking position to be adjusted again. The fixing device can be a snap connection, for example. In this regard, a snap element can snap into a snap element receptacle in the radial direction to the axis of rotation. This snap element can be, for example, a spring element or a resilient plastic web or a resilient metal web or a ball preloaded with a spring or the like.
In one embodiment, the door is a hinged door. This means that it is only arranged to pivot on a housing of the cooking appliance. The pivot axis in this case can be oriented in the width direction of the door. However, it can be arranged in a fixed position in this respect. This means that the door can only perform a pivoting movement.
In a further embodiment, the cooking appliance can have a retractable door. For this purpose, in one embodiment, the cooking appliance has a storage space. This is formed in the housing. In the vertical direction, it is formed in particular below the cooking chamber. It is separated from the cooking chamber by at least one partition wall. The storage space is intended to accommodate the door when the door is retracted into the housing when it is opened. The guide device is designed to guide the door when it is moved into the storage space and/or when it is moved out of the storage space.
In one embodiment, the guide device has an engagement area. The driver can extend into this as intended, viewed in the width direction of the cooking appliance. In the depth direction of the cooking appliance, this engagement area is limited to the rear by a boundary wall. This boundary wall defines a fixed stop for the driver. In particular, this is a driver that is axially oriented in the direction of the rotation axis of the sleeve.
- Bereitstellen der Tür und der davon entkoppelten Führungsvorrichtung;
- Einstellen einer Kopplungs-Montagestellung der Tür;
- Bereitstellen der Hülse in der ersten Drehstellung, so dass die Entriegelungsposition der Verriegelungsvorrichtung eingestellt ist;
- Einführen des Lagerelements an der Tür in die türexterne Aufnahme;
- Providing the door and the guide device decoupled from it;
- Setting a coupling mounting position of the door;
- Providing the sleeve in the first rotational position so that the unlocking position of the locking device is set;
- Inserting the bearing element on the door into the external door mount;
- Moving the door from the first inclined position, which the door has in the coupling assembly position, to a different position, so that
In a further embodiment, the sleeve can be designed or manufactured in one piece. In this context, it can be made from a single material, for example metal. In one embodiment, however, it is also possible to design it from several different materials. For example, the sleeve can have an outer sleeve made from a first material and, at least in some areas, an inner sleeve made from a different material. The outer sleeve can be made from metal, for example. This means that at least the outer sleeve is mechanically very stable. The inner sleeve can be arranged directly on the outer sleeve. For example, it can be glued or molded on or otherwise attached in such a way that it cannot be removed without being destroyed. The inner sleeve can be made from plastic, for example. For example, this can be a plastic that has greater sliding properties than the material of the outer sleeve. It is also possible for the outer ring or the outer sleeve and the inner ring or the inner sleeve to be manufactured as separate components.
If the sleeve, in particular an outer sleeve, is made of metal, it can also be made of sheet steel, for example.

In one embodiment, the

In
In
The bearing

In one embodiment, it is provided that in the locking position the sleeve has a rotational position in which the

If the locking position is set after assembly, this

This position of the
