Die Erfindung betrifft eine Werkstückspannanordnung, mit der sich zu bearbeitende Werkstücke spannen und dadurch für den Bearbeitungsvorgang fixieren lassen. Eine solche Werkstückspannanordnung nach dem Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1 ist beispielsweise aus

Die erfindungsgemäße Werkstückspannanordnung zum Aufspannen von Werkstücken weist eine Lageranordnung auf, auf der wenigstens eine Spanneinrichtung, insbesondere Vertikalspanner, angeordnet ist. Die Spanneinrichtung weist ihrerseits ein erstes, insbesondere oberes, Klemmelement und ein zweites, insbesondere unteres, Klemmelement auf. Das zweite Klemmelement umfasst dabei eine eine Auflageebene definierende Werkstückauflagefläche, wobei die Klemmelemente einander gegenüberliegen und relativ zueinander verschoben werden können, um ein Werkstück einzuklemmen. Ferner verfügt die erfindungsgemäße Werkstückspannanordnung über wenigstens eine Hubschiene, bevorzugt eine Mehrzahl parallel angeordneter Hubschienen, wobei die wenigstens eine Hubschiene relativ zur Auflageebene parallel zur Vertikalrichtung angehoben und abgesenkt werden kann und einen Werkstückauflageabschnitt mit einer Werkstückauflage aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß ist die wenigstens eine Hubschiene, bevorzugt wenigstens eine Mehrzahl aller vorhandenen Hubschienen, wenigstens in drei Hubeinstellungen fixierbar, nämlich
- i) einer ersten Hubeinstellung, in der sich die Werkstückauflage des Werkstückauflageabschnitts in oder unterhalb der Auflageebene befindet,
- ii) einer zweiten Hubeinstellung, in der sich die Werkstückauflage des Werkstückauflageabschnitts in der Auflageebene oder zwischen Auflageebene (E) und erstem Klemmelement befindet, und
- iii) einer dritten, von der ersten oder zweiten Hubeinstellung verschiedenen Hubeinstellung.

Diese drei Hubeinstellungen haben nicht nur den Vorteil, dass die entsprechende Hubschiene beim Aufspannen des Werkstücks unterstützt und das Werkstück auf ein Niveau bringt, auf welchem es einfach in horizontaler Weise zwischen die Klemmelemente geschoben werden kann, wobei in einer weiteren Einstellung die Werkstückauflage der Hubschiene unterhalb der Spanneinrichtung angeordnet ist, sodass sie bei der Bearbeitung des in der Spanneinrichtung aufgespannten Werkstücks nicht im Wege steht. Zudem verfügt die erfindungsgemäße Werkstückspannanordnung über wenigstens eine dritte Hubeinstellung, die von der ersten und der zweiten Hubeinstellung verschieden ist und bei der die Werkstückauflage zumindest das obere Niveau der Spanneinrichtung erreicht bzw. nach oben darüber hinausragt. Diese Einstellung kann unter anderem dazu verwendet werden, dass fertig bearbeitete Werkstück nach Entnahme aus der Spanneinrichtung nach oben zu fahren und dann über die wenigstens eine Spanneinrichtung hinweg zu verschieben. Dabei kann insbesondere vorgesehen sein, dass die wenigstens eine Hubschiene nach dem Einspannen des Werkstücks auf die erste Hubeinstellung verstellt wird. Nach dem Verstellen der wenigstens einen Hubschiene auf die erste Hubeinstellung kann das Werkstück bearbeitet werden. Auf die geschilderte Weise wird die Hubschiene aus dem Arbeitsbereich herausgefahren, der zum Bearbeiten des Werkstücks erforderlich ist. Dieser Arbeitsbereich kann der Bewegungsbereich von entsprechenden Bearbeitungsaggregaten wie Bohrern, Sägen und dergleichen sein. Generell handelt es sich bei den hier in Rede stehenden Werkstücken vorrangig um solche aus Holz oder Holzersatzstoffen, z. B. Kanthölzer oder plattenförmiger Werkstücke. Folglich erfolgt die bevorzugte Verwendung der erfindungsgemäßen Werkstückspannanordnung in einer Holzverarbeitungsmaschine. Natürlich sind Werkstücke aus anderen Materialien ebenso denkbar. Ebenso ist denkbar, die erfindungsgemäße Werkstückspannanordnung in einer anderen Maschine einzusetzen, in der kein Holz verarbeitet wird.In particular, it can be provided that the at least one lifting rail is adjusted to the first stroke setting after the workpiece has been clamped. - g. Entnehmen des Werkstücks aus der wenigstens einen Spanneinrichtung durch Verschieben des Werkstücks und/ oder der Spanneinrichtung von der Auflageebene auf den Werkstück auflageabschnitt der wenigstens einen Hubschiene,
- h. anschließendes Verstellen der wenigstens einen Hubschiene auf die dritte Hubeinstellung.

Die erfindungsgemäße Werkstückspannanordnung weist eine Lageranordnung 2 auf, auf der wenigstens eine Spanneinrichtung 1 angeordnet ist. Diese Spanneinrichtung 1 kann beispielsweise, wie im gezeigten Beispiel, ein Vertikalspanner sein. Die Spanneinrichtung 1 weist ein oberes Klemmelement 1a und ein unteres Klemmelement 1b auf, die einander gegenüberliegende Klemmflächen aufweisen, zwischen denen sich ein Werkstück 4 einklemmen lässt. Die Klemmfläche des unteren Klemmelements 1b definiert eine Auflageebene E des Werkstücks 4. Die beiden Klemmelemente lassen sich zum Spannen bzw. zum Lösen der Aufspaltung in Vertikalrichtung Z relativ zueinander bewegen. Bevorzugt geschieht dies entweder durch den Einsatz eines Vakuums oder den Einsatz von Druckluft, beides kann über die Lageranordnung in die Spanneinrichtung 1 zur Betätigung derselben eingebracht werden. Ferner weist die Werkstückspannanordnung wenigstens eine Hubschiene 3 auf, welche zumindest eine Werkstückauflage 3a umfasst, auf der ein Werkstück 4 aufgelegt und angehoben werden kann. In der in

- Workpiece clamping arrangement for clamping workpieces (4), having a bearing arrangement (2) on which at least one clamping device (1), in particular a vertical clamp, is arranged wherein the clamping device (1) has a first, in particular upper, clamping element (1a) and a second in particular lower, clamping element (1b) wherein the second clamping element (1b) has a workpiece support face defining a support plane (E) wherein the clamping elements (1a, 1b) are opposite one another and can be displaced relative to one another in order to clamp a workpiece (4)at least one lift rail (3) which can be raised and lowered relative to the support plane (E) parallel to the vertical direction (Z),wherein the lift rail (3) can be fixed in at least three lift positions, namelyi) a first lift position which the workpiece support of the workpiece support section (3a) is situated in or beneath the support plane (E)ii) a second lift position in which the workpiece support of the workpiece support section (3a) is situated in the support plane (E) or between the support plane (E) and first clamping element (1a), andiii) a third lift position which is different from the first or second lift positioncharacterised in that the lift rail (3) has a workpiece support section (3a) with a workpiece support.
- Workpiece clamping arrangement according to Claim 1 characterised in that in the third lift position the workpiece support of the workpiece support section (3a) of the at least one clamping device (1) is situated level with the upper side or above the upper side of the first clamping element (1a) and/or the workpiece clamping arrangement comprises a further or alternative clamping device (1) wherein in the third lift position the workpiece support of the workpiece support section (3a) of the lift rail is situated in the support plane (E) or between the support plane (E) and the first clamping element (1a) of this further alternative clamping device (1).
- Workpiece clamping arrangement according to Claim 1 or 2 characterised in that the lift rail (3) is mounted on the bearing arrangement (2).
- Workpiece clamping arrangement according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the lift rail (3) is adjustable between the lift positions via a telescopic mechanism (3a, 3b, 3c, 3d).
- Wood machining device (5), having a machine bed (7) and a workpiece clamping arrangement mounted thereon according to one of the preceding claims as well as a machining device (6) for machining a workpiece (4) held by the workpiece clamping arrangement.
- Wood machining device (5) according to Claim 5 characterised in that the workpiece clamping arrangement comprises a plurality of lift rails (3) arranged in succession in a first direction (X) perpendicularly to the vertical direction (Z).
- Wood machining device (5) according to Claim 6 characterised in that the lift rails (3) are arranged parallel to one another and their respective main longitudinal extension directions run in a second direction (Y) perpendicularly to the vertical direction (Z).
- Wood machining device (5) according to Claim 6 or 7 characterised that each lift rail (3) is assigned a bearing arrangement (2) running parallel to the respective rail (3) wherein the bearing arrangement (2) comprises a plurality of clamping devices spaced from one another in particular in the second direction (Y).
- Method for machining workpieces by using a workpiece clamping arrangement(s) according to one of Claims 1 to 4 or a wood machining device according to one of Claims 6 to 8, comprising the following steps:a. Setting up a workpiece (4),b. Placing the workpiece on the workpiece support face of the at least one lift rail (3),c. Adjusting the at least one lift rail (3) to the second lift position,d. Transferring the workpiece (4) to the support plane (E) of the at least one clamping device (1),e. Clamping the workpiece (3) between the clamping elements (1a, 1b) of the at least one clamping device (1).
- Method according to Claim 9, characterised in that the at least one lift rail (3) is moved to the first lift position after clamping of the workpiece (4).
- Method according to Claim 9 characterised in that the workpiece is machined after the at least one lift rail (3) has moved to the first lift position.
- Method for removing workpieces from a workpiece clamping arrangement according to one of Claims 1 to 4, in particular at the completion of a method according to one of Claims 9 to 11 comprising the following steps:f. Adjusting the at least one lift rail (3) into the second lift position,g. Removing the workpiece (4) from the at least one clamping device (1) by displacing the workpiece (4) and/or the clamping device (1) from the support plane (E) to the workpiece support section (3a) of the at least one lift rail (3),h. Then moving the at least one lift rail (3) to the third lift position.
- Method according to Claim 12 characterised in that after step h. the workpiece (4) is moved on the at least one lift rail (3).
