Definitions
- the invention also relates to an access control gate to a reserved area comprising such a side box.
- Such access control gates are known and intended for use within systems for controlling access to reserved areas such as pedestrian areas, building interiors, public transport networks, etc. They allow the filtering of users entering and, if necessary, leaving these reserved areas so as to limit access to said reserved areas to authorized users only. To this end, the leaves of these access control gates are usually positioned in a deployed position, in which they extend across an access passage to the reserved area, and are moved into a retracted position at away from the passage when an authorized user comes to the entrance of the passage.
- tilting leaves also called “swings”, “flaps”, “fan”, “wings” and “scissors”, differ from other types of leaves found in access control gates in that that they are pivotally mounted relative to the box about an axis parallel to the passage.
- tilting leaves also called “swings”, “flaps”, “fan”, “wings” and “scissors”
- Double tilting leaves are well known and have been described in numerous publications.
- the primary flap is hinged to the box, the secondary flap being hinged to the primary flap, as described in the following documents: WO 2007/028401 , CN 205 558 620 , CN 205 242 300 , CN 105 113 440 , CN 204 803 795 , CN 103 233 642 , CN 202 755 328 , CN 202 595 664 , KR 2013 0086436 , EP 2 475 834 and CN 101 509 235 .
- the primary and secondary flaps are both hinged to the same axis on the box, as described in the following documents: EP 1 929 116 and WO 2015/023228 .
- An object of the invention is thus to reduce the size of the side boxes of the aforementioned type, by increasing the ratio between the deployed extension of the tilting leaf and the width of the box. Another objective is to reduce the complexity of the hinge mechanism of the tilting leaf to the box.
- the subject of the invention is a side box of the aforementioned type, in which the hinge mechanism also comprises a secondary pivot connection for the pivoting of the secondary flap relative to the box about a secondary axis substantially parallel to the primary axis and spaced from the primary axis, and a rigid part hinged to the primary and secondary flaps; wherein the primary and secondary pivot links are each fixed relative to the box.
- the invention also relates to an access control gate to a reserved area comprising at least one side box as defined above.
- the access control system 10 represented in the Figure 1 is intended to regulate traffic between a reserved area 12 and a public space 14. To this end, the access control system 10 comprises a plurality of access control gates 16, 18.
- access control gates 16, 18 are here three in number. As a variant, the number of access control gates 16, 18 is less than or equal to two or greater than or equal to four.
- Each access control gate 16, 18 comprises two side compartments 20, 22 defining between them a passage 24 for access to the reserved area 12, this passage 24 extending along a circulation axis PP' between the public space 14 and reserved area 12.
- the access control gates 16, 18 comprise wide gates 16, that is to say gates whose side compartments 20 are sufficiently spaced from each other so that the passage 24 defined between them is adapted the passage of a person with a bulky item such as a wheelchair, heavy luggage or a stroller. To this end, their passage 24 typically has a width of between 80 and 90 cm.
- the access control gates 16, 18 also include a narrow gate 18, that is to say whose side compartments 20, 22 are sufficiently spaced from each other so that the passage 24 defined between them is suitable for the passage of a pedestrian without bulky element.
- its passage 24 typically has a width of between 50 and 60 cm.
- access control system 10 includes a plurality of narrow gates similar to gate 18, or no narrow gate.
- the side compartments 20, 22 of each wide gate 16 consist of compartments 20 for wide gate.
- the side boxes 20, 22 of the narrow gate 18 comprise, in the example shown, a box 20 for a wide door and a box 22 for a narrow door.
- Each side box 20, 22 comprises a box 30 arranged along the passage 24, an obstacle 32 to obstruct the passage 24, a mechanism 34 for articulating the obstacle 32 to the box 30, and a mechanism 36 for driving the obstacle 32.
- the obstacle 32 consists of a leaf, in particular a tilting leaf, mounted to move relative to the box 30 between a retracted position in the box 30 and an extended position outside the box 30, and is configured to deploy in the direction of the other side compartment 20, 22 forming the gate 16, 18 to which the side compartment 20, 22 belongs.
- the box 30 has a bottom 40, a primary wall 42 and a secondary wall 44.
- the bottom 40 defines a laying plane 45 of the box 30 on the ground, which laying plane 45 is in particular substantially parallel to a floor 46, preferably horizontal, of the passage 24.
- the laying plane 45 is defined by feet projecting downward from the bottom 40 of the box 30.
- the bottom 40 is closed.
- this bottom 40 is open, and can be exclusively constituted by the lower edges of the vertical walls of the box 30.
- the primary 42 and secondary 44 walls are each substantially orthogonal to the laying plane 45 and define between them a housing 48 for receiving the leaf 32 in the retracted position.
- the secondary wall 44 has a through opening 49, opening into the housing 48 and out of the box 30, for the passage of the leaf 32 between its retracted and deployed positions.
- the leaf 32 for each chest 20 for a wide gate, the leaf 32 consists of a double tilting leaf formed of a primary flap 50 and a secondary flap 52 mounted one inside the other in a telescopic manner between a folded configuration in which the secondary flap 52 is nested in the primary flap 50 and an unfolded configuration in which the secondary flap 52 extends essentially out of the primary flap 50.
- the flaps 50, 52 overlap when they are in the folded configuration and, when they are in the unfolded configuration, they are juxtaposed.
- the hinge mechanism 34 comprises a primary pivot link 56 for pivoting the primary flap 50 relative to the box 30 around a primary axis A-A', and a secondary pivot link 58 for pivoting the secondary flap 52 relative to box 30 around a secondary axis B-B'.
- the hinge mechanism 34 also includes a rigid mechanical link part, in particular a connecting rod 60, hinged to the primary flap 50 by a tertiary pivot link 62 and to the secondary flap 52 by a quaternary pivot link 64.
- the primary 56 and secondary 58 pivot links are each fixed relative to the box 30.
- the primary pivot link 56 is also fixed relative to the primary flap 50, and the secondary pivot link 58 is fixed relative to the secondary flap 52.
- the primary axis A-A' is substantially parallel to the laying plane 45 of the box 30 and to the circulation axis P-P'.
- the secondary axis BB' is for its part substantially parallel to the primary axis A-A'. It is further spaced from the primary axis AA 'in a transverse direction T substantially orthogonal to the primary and secondary axes A-A', BB' and parallel to the laying plane 45 of the box 30.
- the transverse spacing between the primary A-A' and secondary B-B' axes is preferably greater than 80% of the outer width of the box 30. This transverse spacing is in particular maximum given the space available inside the box 30, so that the primary pivot connection 56 is attached to the primary wall 42 and the secondary pivot connection 58 is attached to the secondary wall 44.
- Attached it is understood that the distance of the pivot connection, respectively 56, 58 , to the wall, respectively 42, 44, is less than 1 cm, said distance being measured from the wall 42 or 44 to the edge of the pivot link 56 or 58 closest to said wall, and includes the case in which the link pivot, respectively 56, 58 is an integral part of the wall, respectively 42, 44.
- the primary A-A' and secondary B-B' axes are moreover arranged at substantially the same distance from the laying plane 45. This distance is advantageously as small as possible, and is for example less than 20 cm, in particular less than 15 cm.
- the straight line connecting the primary A-A' and secondary B-B' axes is substantially horizontal.
- the primary A-A' and secondary B-B' axes are at different distances from the laying plane 45, the difference between said distances preferably being less than 25 cm.
- the tertiary pivot link 62 is configured to allow the rotation of the rod 60 relative to the primary flap 50 around a tertiary axis C-C' substantially parallel to the primary axis A-A'.
- the tertiary pivot link 62 is fixed relative to the primary flap 50, and therefore at a fixed distance from the primary pivot link 56.
- the tertiary pivot connection 62 is located so that the primary and tertiary pivot connections 56, 62 are substantially aligned with each other in a direction orthogonal to the laying plane 45 of the box 30 when the tilting leaf 32 is in the retracted position.
- the tertiary pivot link 62 is located so that the primary and tertiary pivot links 56, 62 are substantially vertically aligned with each other when the tilting leaf 32 is in the retracted position.
- the tertiary pivot link 62 is located so as to be housed in an upper corner 66 of the housing 48, opposite the opening 49, when the leaf 32 is in the retracted position.
- the quaternary pivot link 64 is configured to allow the rotation of the connecting rod 62 relative to the secondary flap 52 around a quaternary axis DD′ substantially parallel to the secondary axis B-B′.
- the quaternary pivot link 64 is fixed relative to the primary flap 50, and therefore at a fixed distance from the secondary link 58.
- the quaternary pivot connection 64 is located so that the secondary 58, tertiary 62 and quaternary 64 pivot connections are substantially aligned with each other when the tilting leaf 32 is in the retracted position and the shutters 50, 52 in the folded configuration.
- the stroke of the leaf 32 between its retracted and deployed positions is maximized, while minimizing the risks of blocking of the hinge mechanism 34.
- the tertiary 62 and quaternary 64 pivot connections are located so that the tilting leaf 32 has an intermediate position (not shown) between the retracted and deployed position in which the straight line passing through the primary 56 and tertiary 62 pivot connections and the line passing through the secondary 58 and quaternary 64 pivot links are parallel to each other.
- the tertiary 62 and quaternary 64 pivot links are located so that the angle formed between the line passing through the primary 56 and tertiary 62 pivot links and the line passing through the secondary 58 and quaternary 64 pivot links changes direction between the retracted and deployed positions of the tilting leaf 32.
- the tertiary 62 and quaternary 64 pivot links are also fixed relative to the connecting rod 60 and therefore at a fixed distance from each other.
- the tertiary 62 and quaternary 64 pivot links are positioned at other locations of the primary 50 and secondary 52 flaps respectively.
- the drive mechanism 36 is capable of driving the leaf 32 between its retracted and deployed positions.
- the drive mechanism 36 comprises, in the example shown, a crank 70 rotatably mounted relative to the casing 30, an actuator 72 to drive the crank 70 in rotation relative to the casing 30, a slide 74 secured to the secondary shutter 52, and a slider 76 secured to the crank 70 and slidably mounted in the slideway 74.
- the crank 70 is rotatably mounted relative to the box 30 around a drive axis E-E'.
- This drive axis E-E' is substantially parallel to the primary axis A-A'. It is in particular arranged above the primary A-A' and secondary B-B' axes and is transversely interposed between said axes A-A', B-B'.
- Actuator 72 preferably includes an electric motor. It typically consists of a gear motor comprising, in addition to the electric motor, a gear reducer to reduce the rotational speed at the output of the actuator 72 while increasing the torque.
- actuator 72 is a hydraulic or pneumatic actuator.
- the slide 74 is straight here. It is oriented in a direction included in a plane orthogonal to the primary axis A-A', that is to say that the slide 74 is elongated in such a direction. This direction is in particular substantially radial to the secondary axis B-B', that is to say that the angle formed between the direction of the slide 74 and a direction radial to the secondary axis B-B' is less than 20°.
- the slider 76 is eccentric relative to the drive axis E-E'. Thus, when the crank 70 pivots around the drive axis E-E', the slider 76 describes an arc of a circle around the drive axis E-E'.
- the drive mechanism 36 is housed in the box 30.
- the slide 74 is not integral with the secondary flap 52, but with the primary flap 50.
- the slide 74 is then always oriented in a direction included in a plane orthogonal to the primary axis. A-A'. However, this direction is then not substantially radial to the secondary axis BB'; instead, said slider 74 orientation direction is substantially radial to the primary axis A-A'.
- one of the side compartments 20, 22 making up the gate 16, 18 comprises, in addition to the elements described above, an access title reader 80 for reading the data of an access title. access to the reserved space (not shown), a control module 82 for determining from the data read whether access to the reserved space 12 is authorized or not, and a module 84 for controlling the drive mechanism 36 to control the retraction of the leaf 32 if access is authorized and/or the deployment of the leaf 32 if access is prohibited.
- an access title reader 80 for reading the data of an access title. access to the reserved space (not shown)
- a control module 82 for determining from the data read whether access to the reserved space 12 is authorized or not
- a module 84 for controlling the drive mechanism 36 to control the retraction of the leaf 32 if access is authorized and/or the deployment of the leaf 32 if access is prohibited.
- some side blocks 20 are shared between two doors 16, 18 juxtaposed. This is particularly the case for the two side blocks 20 of the central gate 16 of the Figure 1 .
- Each of these side blocks 20 is then interposed between the passages 24 of the gates 16, 18 between which it is shared and comprises two leaves 32 configured to deploy one in the passage 24 of a first of said gates 16, 18 and l the other in the passage 24 of the second of said gates 16, 18.
- Each of these side blocks 20 also comprises, for each leaf 32, a hinge mechanism 34 and a drive mechanism 36 specific.
- the width of the side blocks 20 is minimized.
- the double tilting leaves 32 have in fact a much greater deployment stroke than on the conventional side blocks, to the point that a ratio is easily achieved between the distance from the distal end 54 to the box 30 and the width of the box 30 greater than 1.58.
- This reduction in the width of the side blocks 20 makes it possible to accommodate more gates 16, 18 in the same space, and thus to increase the flow of people crossing the access control system 10.
- the mechanisms for articulating 34 and driving 36 the leaves 32 are particularly simple, which makes it possible to reduce the costs of the side blocks 20 while increasing their robustness and facilitating their maintenance.

- at least one tilting leaf to impede passage, said tilting leaf being movably mounted relative to the casing between a retracted position in the casing and a deployed position outside the casing, and formed of a primary shutter and a secondary shutter movably mounted l relative to the other between a folded configuration in which the secondary flap is nested in the primary flap and an unfolded configuration in which the secondary flap extends mainly outside the primary flap, and
- a hinge mechanism of the tilting leaf to the box, the hinge mechanism comprising a primary pivot connection for the pivoting of the primary leaf relative to the box around a primary axis substantially parallel to the laying plane of the box.
The invention also relates to an access control gate to a reserved area comprising such a side box.
Such access control gates are known and intended for use within systems for controlling access to reserved areas such as pedestrian areas, building interiors, public transport networks, etc.
The tilting leaves mentioned here, also called "swings", "flaps", "fan", "wings" and "scissors", differ from other types of leaves found in access control gates in that that they are pivotally mounted relative to the box about an axis parallel to the passage. A distinction is made within these tilting leaves between the so-called "simple" leaves, formed of a single shutter and intended for narrow passages suitable for the passage of a pedestrian, and the so-called "double" leaves, formed of two shutters and intended for wide passages such as passages for wheelchairs.
These known leaves do not, however, give complete satisfaction. Indeed, their extension once deployed, that is to say the distance from the distal end of the tilting leaf to the box, is relatively low, compared to the size of the tilting leaf in the retracted position. The ratio of the deployed extension of a double tilting leaf to the width of the box in which this leaf is housed in the retracted position is thus most often less than 1.4. For an 85 cm wide passage bordered by two side boxes equipped with double tilting leaves, this means having boxes at least equal to 30 cm wide, which is very cumbersome.
In addition, the deployment mechanisms of these known tilting leaves are generally complex, expensive, and themselves cumbersome.
An object of the invention is thus to reduce the size of the side boxes of the aforementioned type, by increasing the ratio between the deployed extension of the tilting leaf and the width of the box. Another objective is to reduce the complexity of the hinge mechanism of the tilting leaf to the box.
To this end, the subject of the invention is a side box of the aforementioned type, in which the hinge mechanism also comprises a secondary pivot connection for the pivoting of the secondary flap relative to the box about a secondary axis substantially parallel to the primary axis and spaced from the primary axis, and a rigid part hinged to the primary and secondary flaps; wherein the primary and secondary pivot links are each fixed relative to the box.

These
In the example shown, the
The side compartments 20, 22 of each
For each

In the example shown, the bottom 40 is closed. Alternatively (not shown), this bottom 40 is open, and can be exclusively constituted by the lower edges of the vertical walls of the
The primary 42 and secondary 44 walls are each substantially orthogonal to the laying
The

- when the tilting
leaf 32 is in the retracted position, as shown in theFigure 2 , theleaf 32 is in the folded configuration, and - when the tilting
leaf 32 is in the deployed position, as shown in theFigure 3 ,leaf 32 is in the unfolded configuration, secondary flap 52 defining adistal end 54 of tiltingleaf 32,opposite box 30, andprimary flap 50 being interposed betweenbox 30 and saiddistal end 54.
The secondary axis BB' is for its part substantially parallel to the primary axis A-A'. It is further spaced from the primary axis AA 'in a transverse direction T substantially orthogonal to the primary and secondary axes A-A', BB' and parallel to the laying
The transverse spacing between the primary A-A' and secondary B-B' axes is preferably greater than 80% of the outer width of the
Cette distance est avantageusement la plus faible possible, et est par exemple inférieure à 20 cm, en particulier inférieure à 15cm.The primary A-A' and secondary B-B' axes are moreover arranged at substantially the same distance from the laying
Thus, the straight line connecting the primary A-A' and secondary B-B' axes is substantially horizontal.
The
In particular, the
In addition, the tertiary 62 and
The tertiary 62 and
Thus, the deployment of the

Toutefois, cette direction n'est alors pas sensiblement radiale à l'axe secondaire B-B' ; à la place, ladite direction d'orientation de la glissière 74 est sensiblement radiale à l'axe primaire A-A'.According to a not shown variant of the invention, the

The double tilting leaves 32 have in fact a much greater deployment stroke than on the conventional side blocks, to the point that a ratio is easily achieved between the distance from the
This reduction in the width of the side blocks 20 makes it possible to accommodate
In addition, the mechanisms for articulating 34 and driving 36 the
