Abstract

The invention relates to an opener (8) for opening jewelry carabiner clasps (12), consisting of a ring (5) which has a web (3) protruding from the ring (5), preferably parallel to the axis of rotation of the ring (5) the end of which has a hole (1) for receiving a snap fastener (11) of the jewelery carabiner fastener (12).

Description

There is currently no product that is similar to the invention. Only the object of the invention, the jewelry lobster clasp, i.e. a lobster clasp for jewelry, has become known from the prior art.

The opener according to the invention for a jewelry lobster clasp is defined in claim 1.

The present invention includes the knowledge that small lobster clasps, which are used in chains, bracelets or similar jewelry, are sometimes difficult to operate. Even with good prerequisites (normal short fingernails, good dexterity, no poor eyesight, etc.), putting on or taking off jewelry that has a lobster clasp is challenging. If a person is limited in their manual skills due to very long / short fingernails or if they have other impairments in operating small carabiners, putting on or taking off jewelry is very difficult or even impossible. As a result, this process can be very time-consuming, and in the worst case, help from other people is required.

One advantage of the present invention is, in particular, that the jewelry carabiner clasps known from the prior art can be opened very easily with the opener according to the invention. In particular, the present invention enables operation (opening or closing) of small lobster clasps for jewelry, such as a necklace.

A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the ring can be adapted to different finger sizes by means of an opening on an upper side of the ring.

A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that a guide rail on the underside of the bar and ring can guide the snap lock of the carabiner to the hole at the end of the bar.

A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the web extends to the end of the fingertip and the ring connected to the web does not have to touch the fingernail.

Figure 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the opener according to the invention. The opener 8 according to the invention consists of a ring 5 which has a web 3 at the end of which a hole 1 is present. The opener 8 according to the in Figure 1 The illustrated embodiment thus advantageously enables small carabiner clasps 12 to be opened and closed with the aid of the hole 1 at the end of the web 3, which opens into the ring 5 that is open at the top. For the guidance of the mostly spring-assisted snap lock 11, a guide rail 4 is located in the middle of the bar 3 and runs from the hole 1 to the end of the ring 5. When using the opener 8 is pushed onto the first phalanx 7 to behind the nail 6 ( Figure 4 ), adapts to the finger diameter by means of the opening 2 on the upper side of the ring, and the bar 3 closes off at the fingertip ( Figure 3 ). Claims (4)

Opener (8) for opening jewelry lobster clasps (12), consisting of a ring (5) which has a web (3), preferably parallel to the axis of rotation of the ring (5), protruding from the ring (5), at the end of which a hole (1) for receiving a snap lock (11) of the jewelry lobster clasp (12) is available. Opener (8) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the ring (5) can be adapted to different finger sizes by means of an opening (2) on an upper side of the ring (5). Opener (8) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that by means of a guide rail (4) on the underside of the web (3) and / or ring (5) the snap lock (11) of the carabiner (12) to the hole (1) can be guided at the end of the web (3). Opener (8) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the web (3) extends to the end of a human fingertip and does not have to touch the ring (5) of an associated fingernail (6) connected to the web (3).
