Definitions
- the present invention relates to a winding station and a method for winding a plurality of metal strips into a plurality of rolls of tape and the use of special electric motors for winding stations.
- Such winding stations are used in particular in combination with cutting machines, for example of the type of strip cutting machines or foil cutting machines, by means of which a metal strip or a metal foil can be cut primarily in a longitudinal direction of the metal strip or metal foil, so that a plurality of metal strips or metal foils can be made formed by metal strips.
- Corresponding winding stations are, for example, from EP 2 752 381 A1 known and regularly have a winding shaft which is rotatably attached to a frame. For each metal strip, a winding sleeve is stretched on the winding shaft, onto which the metal strips can be wound up to form tape rolls arranged in parallel. For this purpose, all the winding sleeves can be rotated together via the rotatable winding shaft, which can be driven by a drive on at least one of its longitudinal ends.
- the at least one drive of the winding shaft also has the task of ensuring a torque dependent on the diameter of the wound rolls of tape in order to generate a constant strip tension or a constant web tension in the individual metal strips during winding.
- contact roller units are already being used successfully, which can have a separate roller body for each metal strip, for example, so that the contact force with which the respective roller body can be individually adjusted for each metal strip the associated roll of tape is applied, is made possible.
- contact roller units there is a desire to further improve the uniformity of the individual wound rolls of tape.
- a winding station for polypropylene film in which the winding cores are rotatably arranged on a common drive shaft with the aid of ball bearings.
- the winding sleeves can be connected to the drive shaft in a torque-proof manner via a flange coupling or magnetic coupling, so that the winding sleeves can be driven by the common drive shaft.
- a winding station for winding up a plurality of copper strips in which a first winding sleeve can be driven by a first electric motor via a central drive shaft, a second winding sleeve can be driven by a second electric motor via an inner hollow drive shaft and a third winding sleeve can be driven by a third electric motor via an outer hollow drive shaft are.
- the drive shafts are arranged coaxially to one another and can be rotated relative to a frame of the winding station by the electric motors.
- the object of the invention is therefore to at least partially solve the problems described with reference to the prior art and in particular to specify a winding station for winding a plurality of metal strips into a plurality of rolls of tape, with which rolls of tape can be produced with greater uniformity.
- a method for winding a plurality of metal strips into a plurality of rolls of tape is to be specified, with which rolls of tape can be produced with greater uniformity.
- the use of ring-shaped electric motors is to be specified, by means of which rolls of tape can be produced with greater uniformity.
- the proposed winding station can be used in particular in connection with a cutting machine, for example in the manner of a tape cutting machine or foil cutting machine.
- a metal strip or a metal foil can be cut by means of such cutting machines in a longitudinal direction of the metal strip or the metal foil, so that a plurality of metal strips is formed from the metal strip or the metal foil.
- the metal band or the metal foil and the individual metal strips are preferably made of aluminum, an aluminum alloy or a non-ferrous alloy.
- the metal strip is in particular aluminum strip

- the individual cut metal strips have in particular a strip width of 10 mm to 500 mm, preferably 10 mm to 250 mm and particularly preferably 10 mm to 50 mm, and/or a strip thickness from 0.01 mm to 0.5 mm.
- the strip width is (approximately) 20 mm.
- the metal strip or the metal foil is unwound from a coil in particular by means of an unwinding station and fed to a cutting station of the cutting machine.
- the cutting station cuts the metal strip or the metal foil in the longitudinal direction of the metal strip or the metal foil, so that a plurality of metal strips is formed from the metal strip or the metal foil. For example, 2 to 100 parallel metal strips can be cut by means of the cutting station.
- the plurality of metal strips is then fed to at least one winding station, by means of which each metal strip is wound into a roll of tape.
- a plurality of first metal strips can be fed to a first winding station and a plurality of second metal strips can be fed to a second winding station of the cutting machine.

- a plurality of rolls of tape arranged parallel to one another can be wound with the first winding station and the second winding station, with the individual rolls of tape being at a distance from one another during winding .
- the distance corresponds in particular to the strip width of the metal strip that ran between the metal strips of adjacent rolls of tape before the separation.
- the distance can also be larger or smaller.
- the distance between the individual rolls of tape prevents the individual rolls of tape from influencing each other during winding.
- the metal strips of adjacent rolls of tape can be prevented from touching, overlapping and/or deforming one another during winding.

- each electric motor or a plurality of electric motors. can be operated at different speeds and/or with different torques, in particular as a function of the tape roll diameter of the respective tape roll or the respective tape rolls.
- the reel diameter of the individual reels can be determined, for example, by means of at least one sensor and/or a mathematical model.
- each electric motor can, for example, have an output of 1 kW (kilowatt) to 10 kW, preferably 3 kW to 5 kW and particularly preferably 4 kW.
- each electric motor of the plurality of electric motors may be ring-shaped.

- each electric motor of the plurality of electric motors can have a width that is at most twice as large as a strip width of an individual metal strip of the plurality of metal strips.
- each winding sleeve for example, have a winding sleeve width of 40 mm and each electric motor, for example, a width of 40 mm.
- the plurality of electric motors can have at least one connection line, the at least one connection line running at least partially through the carrier.
- Each electric motor preferably has at least one connection line.
- the at least one connection line it is in particular a control line for the transmission of control signals and/or a power line for the transmission of electrical energy.
- each winding sleeve of the plurality of winding sleeves can be attached to an electric motor of the plurality of electric motors.
- each winding sleeve of the plurality of winding sleeves can be attached to a single electric motor of the plurality of electric motors.
- the winding sleeves are in particular attached to the (ring-shaped) rotor of the electric motor.
- the attachment can, for example, be frictional and/or form-fitting.
- each winding sleeve of the plurality of winding sleeves can be attached to an electric motor of the plurality of electric motors with a separate clamping device.
- each winding sleeve of the plurality of winding sleeves can be attached to a single electric motor of the plurality of electric motors with a separate clamping device.
- the clamping device can be designed, for example, in the manner of at least one stamp, which can be adjusted in a radial direction, in particular to a limited extent.
- the at least one plunger can be pretensioned, for example, by means of at least one spring and/or adjustable by means of at least one actuator.
- a method for winding a plurality of metal strips to form a plurality of tape rolls is also proposed, each metal strip of the plurality of metal strips being wound onto a winding core of a plurality of winding cores, the individual winding cores of the plurality of winding cores being arranged next to one another a support of a changing station are arranged, wherein the support is fixed to the frame of the changing station, so that the support is non-rotatable relative to the frame is, and wherein at least two winding sleeves of the plurality of winding sleeves are each driven separately with at least one electric motor.
