Claims (12)

  1. Window or door (1) having a first sliding panel (3) which is displaceably arranged in a frame (2), wherein a second sliding panel (6) is provided next to the first sliding panel (3), which second sliding panel (6) has at least one opening (7) which is integrated in the second sliding panel (6) and is intended for ventilation, characterized in that the second sliding panel (6) is arranged in a receiving compartment (8) from which it can be extended from a closed position in the receiving compartment (8) into a ventilation position in which air can flow through the opening (7) - in particular in the form of a through-opening transverse to the plane of the panel - and into which it can be retracted into the closed position, so that the through-opening is closed.

  6. Window or door (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that one or more of the following features is/are realized in the region of the at least one opening, in particular the at least one ventilation duct:
    a. the opening (1) in the sliding panel is covered laterally by a grille which is at least permeable to air;
    b. one or more heat exchanger devices for heating and/or cooling are provided in the region of the opening (7), in particular in its passage area;

Window or door (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the second sliding panel (6) is assigned a motor drive (22) which acts on the second sliding panel (6) and is designed to move the second sliding panel (6) by motor, wherein the motor drive (22) is preferably designed to move the second sliding panel (6) by motor together with the first sliding panel (6).

    b. in a second switching state of the switching device, the first sliding panel (3) is moved separately from the first sliding panel, and
