Definitions
- the invention relates to a glass bottle with an inserted hard base and a three-dimensional decorative element in the interior of the bottle, comprising a hollow glass body that has the shape of a bottle, a base insert and a three-dimensional decorative element in the interior of the glass bottle.
- the invention also relates to a method for producing a bottle with an inserted hard base.
- Bottles are a popular storage container, especially for liquids. They are used for drinks such as water, milk, wine, juice or alcoholic drinks, as well as for oils or for cosmetic or medical liquids.
- a typical material for making bottles is glass, as glass is food-safe and inert, easy to shape and relatively inexpensive. Glass is also a popular bottle material from an environmental point of view.
- a glass bottle with a decorative object arranged inside the bottle is known.
- the bottom of the bottle is separated from the bottle body and a new functional bottom made of glass is inserted, to which the decorative object is attached.
- US6,740,849 B1 describes a two-layer water glass bottle with dynamic heat assembly, similar to that known in lava lamps or decorative lamps, for example.
- the outer glass bottle has a base attachment that is sealed with gaskets.
- US 2009/039045 A1 reveals a drinking bottle with a cooling element attached inside.
- the drinking bottle has a drinking opening with a valve.
- US 2005/061800 A1 also reveals a water glass bottle with dynamic heat treatment, in which a decorative element is placed inside.
- the seal and structure of the base are similar to the US6,740,849 B1 designed.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a glass bottle which overcomes the aforementioned disadvantages, into which any decorative elements can be incorporated and which allows the storage of food. Furthermore, the object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing such a glass bottle.
- the glass hollow body has an opening in the bottom, whereby the opening is arranged centrally/concentrically in the case of a round bottle bottom, for example.
- the opening is a circular opening.
- the size and shape of the base insert corresponds to the opening in the base of the hollow glass body and closes the opening in the hollow glass body with a force fit and/or a material fit.
