Household appliance, in particular household refrigeration appliance (1), with a housing (2) and with an appliance component (4, 13, 15), which is arranged on the housing (2) and is separate from the housing (2), and which can be moved relative to the housing (2), wherein the appliance component (4, 13, 15) has a front wall (5), which has a front side surface (6) and a strip surface (7) which is inclined thereto, and with a separate functional component (9), which is arranged on the strip surface (7) and has a display and/or operating unit, wherein the front side surface (6) and the strip surface (7) are arranged to overlap one another only in sections when observed in a projected image of the surfaces, wherein the overlapping forms a rear engaging cavity (8) as a handle between a front side of the strip surface (7) and a rear side (10) of the front side surface (6), and wherein the strip surface (7) is arranged at an angle (a) between 30° and 85° with respect to the front side surface (6), wherein the appliance component is a door (4, 13, 15), characterised in that the household appliance has a second strip surface which faces the strip surface (7), wherein a second functional component is arranged on the second strip surface, wherein the functional component (9) has the display and/or control unit and the second functional component has a decorative element.
  2. Household appliance according to claim 1, wherein the strip surface (7) is oriented in the height direction (y) of the household refrigeration appliance (1).
  3. Household appliance according to claim 2, wherein the strip surface (7) extends across at least 50%, in particular at least 80% of the length of an edge of the front side surface (6), to which the strip surface (7) connects.
  4. Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the front side surface (6) overlaps the strip surface (7) by at most 70%.
  5. Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the strip surface (7) is arranged at an angle (a) between 40° and 70° with respect to the front side surface (6).
  6. Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein a decorative panel (11) which is separate from the appliance component (11) is arranged on the front side surface (6).
  7. Household appliance according to one of the preceding claims, wherein a functional component (9) has a separate decorative element.
  8. Household appliance according to claim 1, wherein the functional component (9) arranged on the strip surface (7) and the second functional component arranged on the second strip surface are exchangeable.
