Description
- The present patent relates to an upgraded case for bags.
- Cases for bags are known, so-called "rain-covers", which substantially consist of a sack made of waterproof material that can be fitted around a bag to protect it from rain and other weathering agents and/or, more generally, to prevent it from being stained or damaged in any way.
- The case of traditional "rain-covers" usually has an open bottom and is fitted over the bag by sliding it from the top to the bottom of the bag.
- At the top of the sack, there is also a smaller opening that is adapted to allow the handles or the shoulder strap of the bag to protrude, allowing the user to grasp the bag in the traditional way even when the case is applied.
- Known cases are not without their drawbacks.
- In this regard, it should be noticed that, although they are able to cover the top and sides of the bag, the cases of known type do not provide any protection at the bottom of the bag and, therefore, limit the user in using it, not allowing, for example, to put the bag on wet, damp and/or dirty surfaces.
- In addition, traditional cases do not always fit perfectly over the bag and often have an overall unattractive appearance.
- The patent document no.
0000282107 filed in Italy on 22 September 2014 - The case described above, however, has some drawbacks linked to the type of material used.
- Being entirely made of polymeric material of synthetic origin, the known case for bags has a significant impact on the environment.
- Moreover, the waterproof and transparent characteristics of the case described above do not allow the leather bags to be contained for an extended period of time without running the risk of damaging the bags themselves.
- Synthetic plastic, in fact, does not guarantee sufficient breathability, thus compromising the bag preservation state.
- At the same time, transparent plastic allows the passage of sunlight, not ensuring a protective effect against UV rays.
- It should also be noticed that known cases, when closed, are subject to the formation of condensation inside the cases, with the risk of damaging the bags contained therein.
- Other bags are known from
WO2018/013001 ,WO2008/091700 ,WO2011/085374 ,EP0878407 ,US2004/068058 . - The main aim of the present invention is to devise an upgraded case for bags which can reduce the impact on the environment and improve the preservation state of the bag kept inside the case.
- One object of the present invention is to devise an upgraded case for bags which, when applied, allows the bag to be fully protected and allows the user to handle it without any risk of damaging it.
- Another object of the present invention is to devise an upgraded case for bags which allows, in a practical, easy and functional way, to obtain an innovative and original product, as well as of valuable workmanship.
- Another object of the present invention is to devise an upgraded case for bags which allows overcoming the mentioned drawbacks of the prior art in the context of a simple, rational, easy, effective to use and low cost solution.
- The aforementioned objects are achieved by the present upgraded case for bags having the characteristics of
