Definitions
- the present invention relates to a terminal block comprising an electrical connection system and an insulating body in which the electrical connection system is arranged, the electrical connection system comprising two branches for connection to a portion of a support rail.
- documents DE 203 05 313 U1 and US 2006/063419 A1 describe electrical connection systems.
- junction block comprising an electrical connection system making it possible to electrically connect an electrical conductor and a support rail.
- This electrical connection system comprises a conductive bar which is arranged to be electrically connected both to the electrical conductor and to the support rail.
- Maintaining cooperation can be tricky because the holding device requires reducing the section of the conductive bar for its installation.
- the present invention aims to resolve all or part of the drawbacks mentioned above.
- the present invention relates to a terminal block comprising an electrical connection system and an insulating body in which is provided said electrical connection system, as claimed in independent claim 1.
- the various aspects of this invention are covered by dependent claims.
- the holding device is partly provided in the conductive bar.
- connection branch or branches has the effect of creating two passage channels for the current bypassing the through opening.
- This arrangement therefore makes it possible not to have a zone of weakness in which the transmission of current is reduced at the level of the through opening.
- the clamping device is a device equivalent to the leaf spring, this device being arranged to hold the conductive portion in the position of connection with the conductive bar.
- said one through opening corresponds to a reduction of between 10% and 50% of a nominal section over a defined length of said at least one corresponding connection branch.
- the nominal section is a section of said at least one corresponding connection branch at a distance from the through opening.
- the reduction is between 10% and 40% and in particular between 15% and 30%.
- This arrangement quantifies the acceptable reduction in section so that the current is correctly transmitted despite the through opening.
- each connection branch has a through opening configured for the passage of a portion of the holding device in the cooperative position.
- This arrangement allows an improvement in the flow of the current, the current flow section comprising four flow channels.
- a first connection branch comprises a first through opening and a second connection branch comprises a second through opening, the first through opening being opposite the second through opening.
- This arrangement makes it possible to easily insert the retaining device in the conductive bar in order to position it in the cooperation position.
- the first through opening and the second through opening are symmetrical with respect to a central plane.
- This symmetry allows the portion of the support rail to be held in position because the clamping forces are distributed evenly.
- This arrangement also facilitates the installation of the retaining device: there is no risk of the retaining device jamming during its installation in the cooperative position.
- each connection branch has a cooperative projection arranged to cooperate with the portion of the support rail in the cooperative position.
- This arrangement makes it possible to effectively clamp the portion of the support rail in the cooperative position and also to ensure good electrical contact.
- the cooperative advances of the connection branches extend along the same axis in the cooperative position.
- connection branches improves cooperation between the connection branches and the conductive bar in the cooperation position.
- connection branch also has a cooperation stop extending transversely to the cooperation advance.
- This arrangement allows the portion of the support rail to be kept in a cooperative position.
- the portion of the support rail comprises a first complementary part with the cooperation projection extending along a first plane and comprises a second complementary part with the cooperation stop extending along a second plane. transverse in the foreground.
- This cooperation in two transverse parts allows proper positioning of the respective support rail and the electrical connection system in the cooperation position.
- the cooperation stop is obtained from the folding of an end portion of the corresponding branch.
- the holding device comprises a clamping spring provided with two ends facing each other, each end being arranged to cooperate with a clamping location of a corresponding connection branch.
- connection branches in a cooperative position in a reliable manner.
- At least one clamping location is provided in a cavity of the corresponding connection branch, said location being arranged to receive a corresponding end of the clamping spring.
- each connection branch comprises a cavity as described above.
- connection branch for each connection branch, the cavity and the cooperation projection are aligned in a direction transverse to the direction of extension of the corresponding branch.
- This arrangement allows optimum application of the clamping force of the clamping spring at the cooperation projections, which implies good holding in position of the portion of the clamping rail in the cooperation position.
- each cooperation branch corresponds to a folded blade portion generating the cavity and the cooperation projection.
- the cavity has the shape of a groove which makes it possible to easily dispose each end of the clamping spring in the corresponding clamping location laterally with respect to the direction of extension of the corresponding branch.
- the clamping spring has a C-shape.
- This arrangement allows easier insertion of the clamping spring into the through openings.
- the conductive bar has a passage opening for the insertion of the conductive portion in the connection position.
- This arrangement allows the realization of the conductive bar in a single piece having no point of weakness because the current can always be transmitted in sufficient quantity by the two side branches generated by the passage opening.
- the conductive bar comprises a first part and a second part, the first part being opposite the second part.
- This arrangement makes it possible to produce a compact electrical connection system. This arrangement also makes it possible to adapt the position of the leaf spring I according to the geometric constraints due to the shape of the terminal block.
- the first part comprises the first connection branch and the second part comprises the second connection branch.
- the conductive bar has a general U-shape.
- This arrangement makes it possible to produce the conductive bar from a rectilinear blade which is then folded. This arrangement allows a saving in material because a base sheet cut into rectilinear blades generates little waste, that is to say loss of material.
- the conductive bar consists of a folded conductive blade.
- the manufacture of the conductive bar is easy since it is made from a cut sheet which is then folded to give the conductive bar its final shape.
- the conductive bar consists of a conductive blade.
- This arrangement facilitates the manufacture of the conductive bar because it comes from a flat blade which is then transformed.
- the mass production of this single conductive part therefore makes it possible to save production time and reduce conversion costs compared to a system comprising several conductive parts.
- a saving in material is achieved because a base sheet can generate a large number of blades, the material waste being reduced.
- the conductive blade is included in a rectangular outline.
- the blade is a rectangle, it is easy to find an arrangement of the cutouts to be made on the base sheet to minimize scrap and produce the most conductive bars.
- the conductive bar comprises a recess suitable for the interlocking by force of a fixing part of the support branch.
- the depression is made by cutting the conductive blade.
- the depression is thus carried out during the cutting of the conductive blade, which limits the manufacturing time.
- the cutout creates a through opening in the conductive bar.
- the insulating body comprises a support portion of the support branch.
- This arrangement makes it possible to ensure the locking of the support branch during the stressing of the clamping branch.
- the insulating body comprises a support pad arranged to cooperate with the conductive bar so as to allow the movement of at least one connection branch relative to a corresponding fixed base of said branch adjoining said branch. connection branch.
- This support pad therefore allows the conductive bar to be held in position inside the junction block while allowing the displacement of one branch or two branches depending on its configuration.
- the support pad is arranged to cooperate with a first fixed base of the first connection branch and a second fixed base of the second connection branch.
- the insulating body comprises a centering wall arranged to hold in position the holding device in the cooperative position.
- an electrical device 1 such as a terminal block 3 comprises an insulating body 5 and an electrical connection system 7, the electrical connection system 7 being provided in the insulating body 5.
- the terminal block 3 includes sockets 9 for electrical conductors. Two sockets 9 are connected by a connecting bar 11 to establish electrical contact between two corresponding conductors.
- the terminal block 3 also has a socket 9 'for an electrical conductor 13 intended to be electrically connected to a support rail 15 on which the terminal block 3 is removably fixed.
- the electrical conductor 13 has at one end a conductive portion 13 ', for example a metal tip.
- the metal tip is designed to be inserted into an insertion channel 17 of the socket 9 'where it is held in position by the electrical connection system 7.
- the socket 9 'further comprises an operating channel in which a user can insert a tool of the screwdriver type for the removal of the electrical conductor 13.
- the electrical connection system 7 comprises a conductive bar 21 arranged to transmit a current between the conductive portion 13 'of the electrical conductor 13 and a portion 15' of the support rail 15.
- the support rail 15 thus has a dual function since it allows the fixing of the junction block 3 and it is also used to be electrically connected to the electrical conductor 13.
- the electrical connection system 7 also comprises a clamping device 22 of the leaf spring type 23 arranged to hold the conductive portion 13 'in a connection position with the conductive bar 21 as illustrated in FIGS. figures 5 to 8 .
- any other type of clamping device 22 could be used provided that the clamping device 22 is arranged to hold the conductive portion 13 'in a position of connection with the conductive bar 21.
- a clamping device 22 screw could for example be used.
- the leaf spring 23 comprises a support branch 23 'arranged to be fixed to the conductive bar 21.
- the conductive bar 21 has a recess 25 or a through opening resulting from a cutout suitable for force-fitting. of a fixing part 27 of the support branch 23 '.
- the leaf spring 23 also comprises a clamping branch 23 "joined by an articulation 23" 'to the support branch 23'.
- the clamping branch 23 is arranged to hold the conductive portion 13 'in the connection position.
- the operating channel is arranged so as to allow the movement of the clamping branch 23 "for the removal of the electrical conductor 13.
- the insulating body 5 has a support portion 29 of the support branch 23 'having the function of blocking the support branch 23' during the movement of the clamping branch 23 ".
- the conductive bar 21 has a folded end portion 31 generating a first part 33 ′ of a cooperation zone 35 or cooperation projection 33 and a second part 37 ′ of the cooperation zone 35 or cooperation stop 37.
- This first part 33 ′ of the conductive bar 21 is arranged to cooperate with a first complementary part 39 of the support rail 15 extending along a first plane 39 ′.
- This second part 37 'of the conductor bar 21 is arranged to cooperate with a second complementary part 41 of the support rail 15 extending along a second plane 41' transverse to the first plane 39 '.
- the conductive bar 21 also has a longitudinal contact surface 43 on which are provided an electrical contact location 45 with the conductive portion 13 'in the connection position, the cooperation projection 33 and the cooperation stop 37.
- the electrical contact location 45 extends in a rectilinear manner along a profile generating one or more grooves for better retention of the conductive portion 13 'in the connection position.
- the conductive bar 21 also has a passage opening 47 for the insertion of the conductive portion 13 'in the connection position. This passage opening 47 results for example from a cut made before folding the conductive bar 21.
- the electrical connection system 7 also comprises a holding device 49 arranged to hold the support rail 15 in a position of cooperation with the conductive bar 21.
- the cooperation takes place by contact, which allows current transmission between the conductive bar 21 and the support rail 15.
- the conductive bar 21 comprises a first part 51 and a second part 53 at least partially facing the first part 51.
- the first part 51 comprises the longitudinal contact surface 43 and the second part 53 cooperates with the holding device 49. Having these two parts 51, 53 makes it possible to produce a compact electrical connection system 7 and / or s '' adapt to geometric constraints imposed on the terminal block 3.
- the conductive bar 21 can thus be obtained by cutting in a base sheet and then by bending.
- the conductive bar may have a general U-shape.
- the first part 51 the second part 53 are each formed in a different branch of the U.
- the general U-shape of the conductive bar 21 is obtained from a conductive blade cut from a base sheet.
- the blade is included in a rectangular outline which saves material by limiting scraps during cutting. When cutting, through openings are also created.
- This arrangement makes it possible to maintain a large section for good current transmission once the conductive strip 21 is folded.
- the conductive bar 21 once folded also has good strength and does not risk being deformed during assembly in the junction block 3.
- the retaining device 7 comprises a C-shaped clamping spring 61 comprising a first end 61a and a second end 61b opposite the first end 61a.
- the clamping spring 61 therefore provides a clamping force between its two ends 61a, 61b. It is designed to maintain the cooperation between the portion 15 'of the support rail 15 and the conductive bar 21 in the cooperation position.
- the conductive bar 21 comprises a first connection branch 63a and a second connection branch 63b respectively movable relative to an adjoining first fixed base 65a and a second fixed base 65b adjoining the conductive bar 21.
- connection branches 63a, 63b function as a jaw enclosing the portion 15 'of the support rail 15 in the cooperative position.
- the first connection branch 63a has a first through opening 69a and the second connection branch 63b has a second through opening 69b.
- the first through opening 69a and the second through opening 69b are facing each other and symmetrical with respect to a central plane 71.
- Each through opening 69a, 69b generates two current passage channels 73, which allows good current transmission in the conductive bar although material has been removed to provide said opening.
- connection branch 63a, 63b also has a cavity 75a, 75b in the form of a groove extending aligned with the corresponding cooperation projection 33 in a direction transverse to the central plane 71.
- a clamping location 77a, 77b is provided in said cavity 75a, 75b of each connection branch 63a, 63b.
- a first clamping location 77a is arranged to receive the first end 61a of the clamping spring 61 and a second clamping location 77b the second end 61b.
- connection branch 63a, 63b includes a cooperative projection 33.
- the insulating body 5 has a centering wall 79.
- the tightening obtained is also optimum because the tightening spring 61 is centered laterally with respect to the direction of extension of the conductive bar.
- the electrical connection system 7 described is therefore of simple constitution, easy to assemble and allowing good current transmission.
