Furthermore, it is a task to provide a particularly inexpensive building sealing element that is easy to install.
- the building sealing element is filled with a shaped sealing body and inserted into a connection recess as a building sealing. It remains there as part of a building waterproofing, in particular the building waterproofing also claimed below.
- a building waterproofing in particular the building waterproofing also claimed below.
- the second pressing jaw has a sliding leg, the sliding leg being designed and set up to slide adjacent or spaced along a surface of the first pressing jaw, in particular the fixing leg, in particular if the at least one distance regulating means removes the building sealing element from the first transferred to the second state. It has been shown that the relative orientation of the first and second press jaws during the movement from the first state into the second state can be better controlled with the sliding leg.
- the sealing compound is dispensed in a more controlled manner than is the case without a sliding leg, the sealing being particularly reliable.
- the first press leg and the fixation leg are part of the same one-piece first component, in particular the first press jaw is a one-piece first component.
- the second press leg and the slide leg are part of the same one-piece first component, in particular the second press jaw is an integral second component.
- Said first and / or second component can be an angular component, in particular an angular component with two legs.
- An angle component in the sense of the invention comprises two legs which are connected to one another at a contact angle.
- the first component can be a first angle component with the first press leg and the fixing leg as the leg of said first angle component, the first press leg preferably having a first contact angle strikes the fixation leg, in particular at a first contact angle of 60 ° to 120 °, particularly preferably 80 ° to 100 °.
- the second component can be a second angle component with the second press leg and the slide leg as the leg of the said second angle component, the second press leg preferably meeting the slide leg at a second contact angle, in particular at a second contact angle of 60 ° to 120 °, particularly preferably 80 ° to 100 °.
- the first and / or second angle component preferably has an L-shaped cross section. It is particularly preferred if the first and second press jaws are in the first and / or second state as interlocking angular components.

Materials are preferably chosen for said press jaws that are dimensionally stable, in particular dimensionally stable when exposed to water. Metals have proven to be particularly suitable for withstanding the mechanical stress. Plastics and the composite materials mentioned often withstand the mechanical stress less well, but do not form thermal bridges to the same extent as metals. Surprisingly, a very good seal is also achieved with the said plastics and composite materials.
- a leg for example a first or second press leg, a fixing leg or a sliding leg, in the sense of the present invention can be present in isolation.
- it can be a plate or a rod, in particular in the form of the first and second press legs, said fixing legs and / or sliding legs being dispensed with.
- one leg is connected to another leg, in particular in one piece, via a common starting point.
- the first press leg is connected to the fixing leg, in particular in one piece, at the first contact angle and / or the second press leg is connected to the sliding leg, in particular in one piece, at the second contact angle.
- the first and / or second contact angle is preferably 60 ° to 120 °, in particular 80 to 100 °, particularly preferably 85 to 95 °.

- the window frame has at least one, preferably essentially vertical, frame side edge and at least one, preferably essentially horizontal, lower frame edge, the Structural waterproofing is predominantly arranged between the wall former and the side edge or between the wall former and the lower frame edge, in particular under a window sill and / or in a sole bank profile of the window connection.
- the directions “horizontal”, “vertical” and “below” refer to the orientation of the window in the generic installation, wherein a vertical orientation is directed to the center of the earth and a horizontal orientation is orthogonal to the vertical orientation.
- the window frame preferably comprises at least one profile, in particular in the form of a window connection joint and / or window frame groove, which is completely or partially filled with the at least one sealing molded body of the building seal.
- the seal has proven to be particularly useful for such window frames.
- the building sealing element can press the sealing molded body effectively and with pressure into said profiling, so that the sealing is considerably better than if the sealing compound is only sprayed in without the building sealing element.
- the waterproofing of the building including the correctly inserted sealing body and the sealing layer are delivered. It is not necessary to assemble the building sealing element with the sealing layer and / or the sealing molding and steps i) and ii) do not have to be carried out. This makes sealing much easier and fewer steps are required.
- An advantage of this method variant is that the sealing layer is introduced separately in step iii) and this, in conjunction with the intermediate step of a third state, reduces the risk of the sealing layer tilting.
- step i) and / or step ii) takes place after step a) and before step b) and / or step iii) before step b), in particular before step a) or between step a) and b). It has also proven expedient if step iv), step v), step vi), step vii) and / or step viii) take place after step b) and before step c). It has also proven to be expedient if step ix), step x) and / or step xi) take place after step c). It is also preferred if at least steps a), b) and c) are in the order a), b), c), even if the other steps can have a different order.
- Step ix) has proven to be particularly preferred for reloading the waterproofing of the building. Additional molded sealing bodies can be introduced so that there is sufficient sealing molded body mass for the particularly secure closure of the connection recess.

- the building sealing element according to the invention or the building sealing according to the invention is suitable for new buildings, it has also proven to be particularly suitable for old buildings. In the case of said old buildings, retrofitting is often difficult, for example if the facade is not to be removed or the window is not to be removed. Sealing of service holes in particular has proven to be particularly difficult and conventional sealing means for recesses are generally not suitable for service holes.
- the building sealing element according to the invention and the building sealing according to the invention are particularly suitable for sealing said work holes.
- the present invention provides an improved structural sealing element for use with molded articles and an improved structural sealing. Surprisingly, it has been shown that the press jaws and other constituents mentioned enable a better and more permanent seal to be obtained. This is also easier to assemble than conventional systems, since force redirection is simplified with the distance regulating means. It has also proven to be particularly expedient for the structural sealing element to be able to be loaded several times with sealing moldings. With the present invention, a secure and permanent seal is made possible, particularly in the problematic area of the work hole.
- Figure 1 shows a window 101 without the structural seal according to the invention, the window 101 comprising a window frame 102.

The

Despite the numerous possibilities for sealing, there is a need for improved seals, particularly in problem areas, ie places where a conventional seal is not possible, is significantly more difficult or is not sufficiently reliable. One such problem is the trade hole. This is usually at the interface between the window frame, window sill, reveal and possibly roller shutter guide rail in the corner area and is difficult to seal securely. Also, connection recesses between wall mural and window are often difficult to access. If there is no reliable and safe sealing, there is a risk that water will penetrate. As a result, the insulation system and the wall construction can be impaired and also damaged. So far, problem areas have often been simply closed with a filler or joint sealing tape. However, such a system is not reliable in the long run and is at best suitable as a temporary solution, especially in the event of driving rain, moisture and / or water often penetrates over time.
The object of the invention is therefore to overcome the aforementioned disadvantages of the prior art and to provide an improved building sealing element and an improved building sealing for sealing building recesses, in particular also for reliable sealing in the event of driving rain. Furthermore, it is a task to provide a particularly inexpensive building sealing element that is easy to install. Furthermore, it is an object to provide structural sealing elements which can be added subsequently in the case of a building renovation.
The object is achieved by a building sealing element for sealing against moisture and / or water for profiled structures, in particular window connections, comprising all the features of
It has been shown that an improved sealing of connection recesses can be achieved by means of two press jaws, the spacing of which can be adjusted via the spacing regulating means. If the pressing jaws move towards one another and a sealing molded body has previously been inserted between them, the direction of the deformation of the sealing molded body can be controlled in a targeted manner. A higher contact pressure and / or a higher deformation force of the sealing molded body, in particular into a profiling, can also be achieved. Overall, the seal is significantly improved. Conventional sealing mold bodies are often injected, the contact pressure, the direction of injection and the amount of the sealing mold body being difficult or impossible to control. Usually, a much higher amount of sealing molded body is required and, nevertheless, a satisfactory result is not achieved. This problem is solved by means of the building sealing element according to the invention fixed, whereby the amount of sealing molded body can be reduced, which is cost-saving.
The building sealing element is filled with a shaped sealing body and inserted into a connection recess as a building sealing. It remains there as part of a building waterproofing, in particular the building waterproofing also claimed below. In principle, it is conceivable to distribute the building sealing element in isolation, the user inserting the sealing molded body and possibly a sealing layer during use himself in order to maintain the building sealing. It is also conceivable to sell the structural sealing element together with the shaped sealing body, in particular in the form of said structural sealing or as a kit for producing said structural sealing.
In an expedient embodiment, it is provided that the second pressing jaw has a sliding leg, the sliding leg being designed and set up to slide adjacent or spaced along a surface of the first pressing jaw, in particular the fixing leg, in particular if the at least one distance regulating means removes the building sealing element from the first transferred to the second state. It has been shown that the relative orientation of the first and second press jaws during the movement from the first state into the second state can be better controlled with the sliding leg. The sealing compound is dispensed in a more controlled manner than is the case without a sliding leg, the sealing being particularly reliable.
It is preferably provided that the first press leg and the fixation leg are part of the same one-piece first component, in particular the first press jaw is a one-piece first component. Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that the second press leg and the slide leg are part of the same one-piece first component, in particular the second press jaw is an integral second component. Said first and / or second component can be an angular component, in particular an angular component with two legs. An angle component in the sense of the invention comprises two legs which are connected to one another at a contact angle. The first component can be a first angle component with the first press leg and the fixing leg as the leg of said first angle component, the first press leg preferably having a first contact angle strikes the fixation leg, in particular at a first contact angle of 60 ° to 120 °, particularly preferably 80 ° to 100 °. The second component can be a second angle component with the second press leg and the slide leg as the leg of the said second angle component, the second press leg preferably meeting the slide leg at a second contact angle, in particular at a second contact angle of 60 ° to 120 °, particularly preferably 80 ° to 100 °. The first and / or second angle component preferably has an L-shaped cross section. It is particularly preferred if the first and second press jaws are in the first and / or second state as interlocking angular components.
Plastics, in particular PVC, PUR, polycarbonate and / or polyethylene, have proven to be suitable materials for the first and / or second press jaw. Metals or composite materials such as fiber-reinforced plastics, wood and / or MDF (medium-density fibreboard) are also suitable. The first and / or second press jaw preferably consists partially, predominantly or completely of the materials mentioned above.
A leg, for example a first or second press leg, a fixing leg or a sliding leg, in the sense of the present invention can be present in isolation. For example, it can be a plate or a rod, in particular in the form of the first and second press legs, said fixing legs and / or sliding legs being dispensed with. However, it is preferably provided that one leg is connected to another leg, in particular in one piece, via a common starting point. In one embodiment, it is provided that the first press leg is connected to the fixing leg, in particular in one piece, at the first contact angle and / or the second press leg is connected to the sliding leg, in particular in one piece, at the second contact angle. The first and / or second contact angle is preferably 60 ° to 120 °, in particular 80 to 100 °, particularly preferably 85 to 95 °.
Preferably, the first press leg, in particular by means of the distance regulating means, can be transferred into a third state, in particular displaceable, in which the first press leg is spaced apart from the second press leg by a third mean distance, the third mean distance being smaller than and greater than the first mean distance than the second average distance and / or wherein the third distance lies between the first and the second average distance. In particular, it can be provided that a plurality of, in particular continuous, intermediate distances can be set between the first and second states. Said third state is preferably such an intermediate distance. Even when said third distance is present, the at least one distance regulating means is designed and set up to transfer the building sealing element from the first to the second state, only just beyond the third distance, so that a third state can exist in the meantime.
In an expedient embodiment, it is provided that the fixing leg has a greater weight, a greater maximum longitudinal extent, a larger surface area and / or a larger volume than the sliding leg, in particular in each case at least twice, preferably at least three times as large. It has been shown that in this case the fixing leg can better provide a slideway on which the sliding leg slides.
The fixing leg is preferably designed and set up to be fixed to a wall former. This can be done for example by means of screws, nails and / or by gluing. The fixing leg preferably comprises an adhesive layer and / or passages for screws and / or nails.
If the building sealing element can be converted into the second state in a sliding manner within the meaning of the present disclosure, this means that at least two components of the building sealing element are moved so as to slide against one another, ie are in sliding contact. In the present invention, it is particularly preferred if the fixing leg and the sliding leg are designed and set up to slide along one another long, while the distance is controlled by a screwing movement of the distance regulating means, in particular wherein the distance regulating means is a screw.
In a further embodiment, it is provided that the first press jaw, in particular the first press leg, has at least one first press jaw recess and / or at least one press jaw sleeve is fastened to the first press jaw, in particular to the first press leg, and / or the second press jaw, in particular the second press leg has at least one second press jaw recess for the at least one distance regulating means. It is particularly preferred if at least one press jaw sleeve is attached to the first press leg of the first press jaw and the second press leg of the second press jaw has at least one second press jaw recess for the at least one distance regulating means. In this case, the press jaw sleeve can be fused in one piece with the press jaw or glued to it or fixed in some other way, for example by a plug connection. The at least one distance regulating means preferably comprises at least one external thread which can be passed or passed through the second press jaw recess, in particular wherein the first press jaw recess and / or the press jaw sleeve likewise has at least one internal thread, in particular a first internal thread, for receiving the external thread of the distance regulating means. It is conceivable that no first press jaw recess is provided and only the press jaw sleeve interacts with the external thread of the distance regulating means. Alternatively, it is also conceivable that a first press jaw recess is provided instead of or in addition to a press jaw sleeve. A press jaw sleeve has the advantage that a longer first internal thread can be provided for receiving the external thread of the distance regulating means than if there is only a first press jaw recess. The second press jaw recess can have a second internal thread, which improves the directional control of the distance regulating means. However, a second press jaw recess is also conceivable without such a second internal thread. With the first and / or second internal thread, in particular the first internal thread of the first press jaw sleeve, a pulling force can be generated via the distance regulating means, which enables a transfer from the first to the second state. In one configuration, it can be provided that the press jaw sleeve is a plastic sleeve with the first internal thread, which is fastened to the press jaw. A press jaw sleeve in the sense of the present invention is preferably a receptacle for the distance regulating means, which is preferably fixed on the first press jaw and firmly connected to it.
There are preferably 1 to 10, in particular 2 to 5, particularly preferably 2 to 3, locking agents. In one embodiment it is provided that the number of locking means corresponds to the number of the first press jaw recess and / or the second press jaw recess and / or the press jaw sleeve. Screws, in particular cylindrical screws, have proven to be particularly suitable locking means. These are inexpensive, robust and infinitely adjustable. Alternative locking means, for example an adjustable clamp, are possible according to the invention.
The invention further relates to a building seal, wherein said building seal preferably comprises a sealing layer, the first pressing jaw, in particular the fixing leg, being coated in regions with the sealing layer.
It has been shown that the at least one shaped sealing body can be deformed in a targeted manner with the building sealing element, and thus a connection recess can be sealed in a building. The building sealing element and the at least one sealing molded body seal this connection recess, in particular the work hole, preferably together with the sealing layer.
A molded sealing body in the sense of the present invention is a deformable body which comprises sealing compound. The shaped sealing body is preferably elastic, ie it can at least partially deform back when deformed. Sealing compounds such as rubber, silicone rubber, window putty, butyl-based polymers, acrylates and / or a bituminous sealant have proven to be suitable. The window putty is preferably a slurry of chalk and linseed oil. It has shown, that said materials enable a high contact pressure. Foam-based sealing moldings are also conceivable according to the invention, but less preferred.
It is preferably provided that the shaped sealing body has a shaped body gap, the sealing layer being present at least partially in said shaped body gap. This has the advantage that the sealing layer is enclosed on both sides by the sealing molded body, which improves the sealing. It also facilitates and stabilizes curvature or folding of the sealing layer, so that it can better cover these areas with different inclinations. The shaped body gap can extend through the entire sealing shaped body or can be present only in a partial area of the sealing shaped body.
It is preferably provided that the sealing molded body is subdivided into a first sealing molded body section and a second sealed molded body section, a weakening zone and / or the molded body gap being present between the first and second sealed molded body sections. In one embodiment, it is provided that the sealing molded body has two components separated by the molded body gap, which correspond to the first and second sealing molded body sections. Alternatively, it can also be provided that the sealing molded body is in one piece and the first and second sealing molded body sections are only regions of the one-piece sealed molded body. The weakened zone can merge into the shaped body gap described above. There can also be only one weakened zone or only one molded body gap. The sealing layer is preferably at least partially present in the weakened zone and / or in the molded body gap, in particular in the molded body gap. A weakening zone in the sense of the present invention is an area in which the cohesion of the sealing molded body is weakened, for example by cutting through the sealing molded body and putting it back together, the intermolecular forces in the separation zone being weaker. Perforation as a weakening zone is also conceivable.
In an expedient embodiment of the shaped sealing body, it is provided that it can be activated, in particular by removing a first release film. This is a chemical and / or physical form of activation. In this embodiment, the shaped body preferably comprises a deactivated and an activated state, wherein it, preferably by adding water and / or oxygen, can be transferred from the deactivated to the activated state. In the deactivated state, the molded body is preferably coated with a first release film which can be removed for transferring to the deactivated state.
The sealing layer in the sense of the present invention preferably comprises a protective layer, in particular a protective layer which is moisture and / or watertight. The protective layer can consist of or comprise bitumen and / or rubber. However, a protective layer comprising plastic fleece, in particular a polyester fleece, is particularly preferred. The protective layer may further comprise or consist of one or more membrane sheets. In one configuration, the protective layer can be coated with adhesive, in particular the sealing layer comprising an adhesive layer of the said adhesive. It can also be provided in one embodiment of the building waterproofing that the sealing layer comprises at least one second release film in addition to the protective layer, wherein the adhesive layer can be exposed by removing the at least one second release film. If, within the meaning of the present disclosure, first, second elements, for example a first and second release film, are used, these are terms. The presence of a second peel-off film does not necessarily require that a first peel-off film be realized. Embodiments are therefore conceivable which have a second, but not a first, release film. The same applies to other elements in the sense of the present disclosure, which were designated analogously.
It is also expedient in some configurations if the building seal is designed and set up to move the first and / or second press jaw along a first direction when the building sealing element is transferred to the second state, the building seal being designed and set up, the sealing molding to shift at least partially along a second direction, in particular to deform when the structural sealing element is transferred to the second state, the first direction being oriented orthogonally to the second direction. At least parts of the sealing molded body are thus pressed out laterally when the first and / or second press jaws are brought together, in particular into a profiling. This has the advantage that said parts are connected to the side walls of the connection recess, in particular also with a profile of said walls.
It is preferably provided that the sealing layer has a first side surface and an opposite second side surface, the first press jaw having a first overall surface, the first side surface being many times larger than the first overall surface and / or the first side surface being a sealing fleece and / or comprises bitumen, preferably coated with a sealing fleece comprising polyester, and / or wherein the second side surface comprises an adhesive layer, in particular is coated with an adhesive layer, preferably wherein the second side surface rests on the fixing leg. A total surface of a body is the entire outer surface of a body.
In a further embodiment of the sealing layer, it is provided that it can be activated, in particular by removing a first release film. The sealing layer preferably comprises an adhesive layer, which can be exposed by pulling off the release film.
In some configurations it can be provided that the sealing layer has a first area which is oriented essentially orthogonally to a second area, in particular wherein the first area is oriented essentially parallel to a surface area of the fixing leg and / or sliding leg and / or second area is at least partially embedded in the sealing molded body. The fixing leg and / or sliding leg is preferably plate-shaped and has a central alignment which is oriented essentially parallel to the first region. The regions are essentially orthogonal when the first region is rotated by 70 ° to 110 °, preferably 80 ° to 100 °, particularly preferably 95 ° to 95 °, with respect to the second region. An essentially orthogonal orientation of the first region to the fixing leg and / or sliding leg is present if the deviation of the orientation is not more than 15 °, in particular not more than 10 °, preferably not more than 5 °.
The present invention further relates to a window connection, in particular a window connection, with a connection recess and the building seal described above, the building seal completely or partially filling and / or closing the connection recess.
The window connection preferably comprises a wall former and a window frame, in particular the connection recess having or representing a work hole, the work hole being formed between the wall former and a corner of the window frame. Alternatively or additionally, the connection recess can partially or completely enclose or represent a side joint, the side joint being formed between the wall former and the window frame. It has been shown that connection recesses of this type can be sealed well with the structural seal according to the invention. The suitability of the building sealing according to the invention for work holes has proven to be particularly surprising. Work holes can usually not be effectively sealed with the usual sealing measures. This may be due in part to the fact that the work holes are regularly made difficult to access in corner areas (so-called problem areas).
A trade hole in the sense of the present invention is the area between the wall former and the window frame, in particular a connection recess in the corner region between the window and the wall former, preferably a wall former in the form of a building wall. It is preferably there where window frames, wall formers, reveal and window sill meet, if these are installed in the same category. In the sense of a particularly preferred definition, the work hole is an open interface with the connection recess in the corner area between a window and an outer window sill, possibly also a sun protection guide rail and the outer reveal or wall former, in particular facade. A side joint is at a distance from the work hole between the wall former and the window frame or adjoins this. The structural seal preferably closes the work hole and part of the side joint or only the work hole at the same time. A connection recess in the sense of the present invention can comprise or be a work hole and / or the side joint, in particular be a work hole.
A wall former in the sense of the present invention preferably comprises or represents a facade and / or building wall, in particular a plastered facade.
In one embodiment it is provided that the window frame has at least one, preferably essentially vertical, frame side edge and at least one, preferably essentially horizontal, lower frame edge, the Structural waterproofing is predominantly arranged between the wall former and the side edge or between the wall former and the lower frame edge, in particular under a window sill and / or in a sole bank profile of the window connection. The directions "horizontal", "vertical" and "below" refer to the orientation of the window in the generic installation, wherein a vertical orientation is directed to the center of the earth and a horizontal orientation is orthogonal to the vertical orientation.
The window frame preferably comprises at least one profile, in particular in the form of a window connection joint and / or window frame groove, which is completely or partially filled with the at least one sealing molded body of the building seal. The seal has proven to be particularly useful for such window frames. The building sealing element can press the sealing molded body effectively and with pressure into said profiling, so that the sealing is considerably better than if the sealing compound is only sprayed in without the building sealing element.
- a) Bereitstellung der Bauwerksabdichtung mit dem Bauerwerkabdichtungselement;
A “profiling” in the sense of the present invention denotes the shaping of a surface by means of a structure, as a result of which the surface has elevations or depressions correspondingly designed in cross section of the structure. Grooves, in particular window frame grooves, are particularly preferred profiles. Profiles with an undercut are very particularly preferred. "Profiled structures" are structures that have a profile.
The invention further relates to a method for sealing a connection recess of a window connection, in particular a trade hole, by means of the structural seal described above, the window connection having a wall former and a window frame, comprising the following steps, in particular in this order,
- a) providing the building waterproofing with the building sealing element;
- b) Complete or partial insertion of said building seal into the connection recess, whereby the building sealing or the building sealing element is in the first state; and
- c) transferring the building seal to the second state, in particular from the first state to the second state, by means of the at least one distance regulating means, the sealing molded body being pressed and / or deformed into a profile of the window connection.
In further refinements of the method, the building sealing or the building sealing element in step a) already includes the sealing layer, preferably wherein the sealing layer is present at least in part in a shaped body gap of the shaped sealing body. Alternatively or additionally, it can be a step ii) of the method to subsequently insert the sealing layer into the building sealing or the building sealing element, preferably so that the sealing layer is at least partially present in a molded body gap of a sealed molded body and / or at least partially connected to the fixing leg, in particular glued, is. This can be done between steps a) and b). The connection or gluing to the fixing leg can also take place at a later time. In this case, it can be provided that the sealing layer is introduced into the connection recess in step iii) and then the structural seal is introduced in step b), in particular wherein the sealing layer comes into contact with the shaped sealing body, and preferably in the process is at least partially introduced into a molded body gap of the molded sealing body. In the embodiments of the method mentioned above, it is preferably provided that the sealing layer is present in such a way that it has a first region which is oriented essentially orthogonally to a second region. In some suitable configurations, the method comprises the following steps a), ii), b), c) or a), iii), b), c) or iii), a), b, c), in particular in this order, further steps are not excluded.
- a) Bereitstellung der vorstehend beschriebenen Bauwerksabdichtung oder des vorstehend beschriebenen Bauerwerkabdichtungselements;
- i) vorzugsweise Einbringen des Abdichtformkörpers zwischen den ersten und zweiten Pressschenkel des Bauerwerkabdichtungselements, insbesondere falls er nicht schon in Schritt a) als Bestandteil der Bauwerksabdichtung bereitgestellt wurde;

An advantage of this method variant is that the sealing layer is introduced separately in step iii) and this, in conjunction with the intermediate step of a third state, reduces the risk of the sealing layer tilting.
It has proven expedient if step i) and / or step ii) takes place after step a) and before step b) and / or step iii) before step b), in particular before step a) or between step a) and b). Additional molded sealing bodies can be introduced so that there is sufficient sealing molded body mass for the particularly secure closure of the connection recess.
The invention also relates to the use of the building sealing described above for the sealing of profiled structures such as profiled door or window connections, in particular work holes in the window connections, in a building, in particular when renovating an old building or building a new building. Although the building sealing element according to the invention or the building sealing according to the invention is suitable for new buildings, it has also proven to be particularly suitable for old buildings. In the case of said old buildings, retrofitting is often difficult, for example if the facade is not to be removed or the window is not to be removed. Sealing of service holes in particular has proven to be particularly difficult and conventional sealing means for recesses are generally not suitable for service holes. Surprisingly, however, the building sealing element according to the invention and the building sealing according to the invention are particularly suitable for sealing said work holes.
The present invention provides an improved structural sealing element for use with molded articles and an improved structural sealing.
