State of the art

There are currently various capsules which are screwed on a bottle neck, in order to pour their contents there.

The document US2014/0305817A1 describes such a cap, to be screwed onto the neck of a bottle. This capsule comprises a receptacle cover for a liquid or a powder and a neck to be screwed onto the neck of a bottle also containing a liquid or a powder. The cap is closed on one side and, on the other, on the side of its neck, by a lid, so that the capsule is hermetic before its product is used.

As illustrated on the Figure 1 , the capsule 13 of the prior art is composed of a receptacle 10 in which the product to be diluted is stored. This product can be liquid or powder for example. The capsule 13 is hermetically closed on one side, and on the other, neck side 14, by a cover 11 connected to a perimeter 14 by a tubular barrel 16. When a user wishes to dilute the product of the capsule 13, he must choose, for example, a bottle 8 whose neck 7 is adapted to the neck 14 of the capsule. This bottle 8 can contain water or any other liquid or powder product depending on the use. The user will then screw the capsule 13, hitherto hermetically closed by the cover 11, onto the neck 7 of the bottle 8. The neck 7 will exert a pressure by causing the circumference 14 with its barrel 16, which will cause the detachment of the lid 11 along a line of rupture except in an articulation zone. The lid, after its pivoting, opens the capsule 13 to release its contents which will flow into the bottle 8.

This capsule has the advantage of being able to hermetically contain a precise dose of product, until it is used. The manipulation is limited to screwing this cap on a bottle in order to release the product in the latter. Such a capsule is convenient because it is made in such a way that it contains the desired dose of product.

Nevertheless, such a capsule has a certain drawback. In fact, it has little flexibility. Indeed, its neck is only suitable for one type of bottle. As the entire capsule is molded, the mold must be adapted to the volume of the capsule and the size of the neck of the bottle.

Depending on the type of product contained in the capsule, this product will have to be diluted more or less. Therefore, the size of the cap will vary, as will the size of the neck in order to be compatible with bottles of different volumes. In addition, the introduction of the lid into the capsule is carried out by striking, with a risk of breaking part of the capsule, for example the lid which closes it on the side opposite its neck.
Other solutions use adapters with puncturable membrane, as for example described in WO 99/09931 , FR 2 618 763 OF 298 23 254 . In this case, it is necessary for the container to include a hermetic closure means of its own.
The invention of the present application aims to overcome these drawbacks.

Summary of the invention

To this end, the present application relates to an assembly as defined in the claim.

This universal neck mixing container of the invention is designed to be able to contain any volume of product, and to be fixed on a receiving container having a neck of any size. Indeed, the mixing container comprises, on the one hand, a container of any volume but having a universal neck and, on the other hand, an adapter which makes it possible to attach this container to a receiving container comprising a neck of any size.

This container of the invention has a very great flexibility, because it suffices to choose on the one hand the volume of the container and on the other hand the diameter of the neck of the adapter, and to assemble these two elements to make the suitable mixing container.

In addition, the mixing container is made up of two parts instead of three, because the cover is part of the same part as the adapter.

Thus, the adapter can be clipped using the adapter skirt on any container, the assembly forming the mixing container of the invention.

Detailed description of the invention

The mixing vessel of the invention 1, shown in picture 2 , is composed of a container 2 and an adapter 3 joined together.

As illustrated by picture 3 , container 2 has a universal neck 4. That is, regardless of the size and shape of container 2, neck 4 will be identical from container to container.

As shown on the figures 4 and 5 , the adapter 3 of the container 1 comprises an adaptation skirt 20 and a fixing skirt 19.
The fixing skirt 19 here comprises a thread 9 to be screwed onto the neck of any bottle 18. Alternatively, the fixing skirt 19 could be fixed on the neck of any receiving container 18 using a bayonet-type attachment, the container neck being adapted accordingly. The adaptation skirt 20 makes it possible to fix the adapter 3 on the neck 4 of the container 2, here using lugs 6.

The adapter 3 also includes a removable lid 5, which allows the entire container 1 to be hermetically closed until the product contained in this container 1 is used. The lid 5 is attached to the adapter on along a break line 21 and, because of its mobility, along an articulation zone, around which the lid, after breaking the break line, can therefore pivot.

The primary object of the invention is to have a container 1 able to contain any volume of product, and to be fixed on a bottle 18 having a neck of any size.

To do this, the container 2 is an element of any size or shape that can contain any type of product. In this way, the volume of the container 2 is variable depending on the situation.

Furthermore, the adapter 3 has a diameter of any size, which allows it to be screwed adequately onto the neck of any bottle 18 using the fixing skirt 19 comprising a thread 9.
Thanks to the lugs 6, the adapter 3 is fixed on the universal neck 4 of the container 2. These lugs 6 have a length which varies according to the diameter of the adapter so that the distance 15 between these lugs 6 is always identical. Thanks to this, the internal diameter formed by the lugs is a constant diameter, corresponding to the external diameter of the universal neck of the container. This allows you to clip any size 3 adapter to any size 2 container, since the latter have a universal neck 4 whose dimensions never vary.

Having described the container 1, its use will now be described. The user will choose the appropriate container 1, that is to say comprising a container 2 of desired volume clipped onto an adapter 3 having its fixing skirt 19 adapted to the size of the neck of the bottle 18. The user will then screw the container 1, hitherto hermetically sealed by the cover 5, onto the neck of the bottle 18. The neck will exert pressure on the cover 5, which will cause the detachment of the latter along the rupture line 21. The cover 5 then opens the container 1 to release its contents which will flow into the bottle 18.

As a variant which does not form part of the present invention, the attachment of the adapter to the container could be ensured by means other than those described above, for example with an expandable tube coming to grip the neck of the container.

Claims (1)

1. An assembly comprising:

   - a receiving container (18) comprising a neck, and

   - a mixing vessel (1) for containing a product to be mixed with another content in the receiving vessel (18), said mixing vessel (1) comprising a container (2) and an adapter (3),

   said container (2) comprising a neck (4) to be mounted on a neck of the receiving vessel (18) via the adapter (3), the neck (4) of the container (2) and the neck of the receiving vessel (18) being attachment necks to the adapter (3),

   said adapter (3) comprising an adapter skirt (20) for adaptation to the neck of the container (2), the adapter skirt comprising pins (6) for attachment to the neck (4) of the container (2), and a fastening skirt (19) being intended to be fixed on the neck of the receiving vessel (18), the fixing skirt (19) comprising a tapping (9), between which is located a removable seal (5) hermetic closure of the mixing vessel (1) arranged to open the mixing vessel (1) by pressing the neck of the receiving vessel (18) on the seal (5) when screwing the mixing vessel (1) on the neck of the receiving vessel (18), causing the seal (5) to detach along a tear line allowing the seal to rotate along a hinge line to open the mixing vessel (1) so that the product of the mixing vessel (1) and the product of the receiving vessel (18) mix.
