Definitions
- the invention relates to a door with a door leaf that is guided on two side guides and can be moved by means of a drive at least between an open position and a closed position along a closing path.
- the door leaf is held on at least one side guide by means of at least one fastening element.
- the door also includes a control unit for controlling the drive and a presence detection device for detecting obstacles in the closing path of the door leaf. The controller is set up to stop the drive when the presence detection device is triggered.
- the invention also relates to a method for operating the door according to the invention.
- Gates are used to close or unblock passages and openings in buildings or walls as required.
- a door leaf is moved back and forth between a closed position, in which it covers an opening to be closed (door opening), preferably completely, and an open position, in which the opening is released, preferably completely.
- Guides are provided to ensure a reproducible and directed movement of the door leaf between the open position and the closed position.
- these include two side guides which are located laterally to the side of at least a major part of the gate leaf and ensure at least in sections a linear forced guidance of at least part of the gate leaf.
- there is the orientation of the lateral guides in space is not fixed in the most general form of the invention.
- the door leaf is at least partially held on the side guides by means of a fastening element, which is forcibly guided by at least one of the side guides or at least restricted in its movement to a defined area. Managers can also be transferred to the door leaf through the fastening element.
- the bracket absorbs the usual loads when the door is in operation - such as wind load.
- the fastening element takes on at least the holding function, but can also contribute to the guidance of the door leaf.
- the holding function of the fastening element can also be supported by other means, such as the inherent stability of the door leaf or parts thereof. In any case, the door leaf cannot leave the guide of the side rail without subjecting the connection between the door leaf and the fastening element to a force.
- a presence detection device which within the closing path "(ie within the movement of the door leaf between a given position and the Closing position of the space swept by the door leaf)", objects and people provided.
- detection range a detection range of the presence detection device
- the signal is suitably transmitted to the controller, which consequently stops the drive.
- Current designs also provide that an opening movement of the door leaf is started immediately. The drive is then blocked and the door leaf held in the open position.
- the presence detection device can also be used to detect when the closed position has been reached, ie the end position of a closing movement. In this case, the closing movement must also be stopped.
- the door leaf When closed, the door leaf forms a flat element which moves in a closing direction, parallel to the main direction of movement of the door leaf during a closing movement, and in a side direction perpendicular thereto.
- a door leaf can extend over several meters both in the lateral direction and in the closing direction.
- the thickness direction of the door leaf runs perpendicularly to the two aforementioned directions, in which it has dimensions which, depending on the application and position within the door leaf, are regularly between less than a few a few millimeters and several centimetres.
- the orientation of the door leaf can be freely selected depending on the application scenario.
- a frequent application of the gates described above is in use in industrial companies, especially in storage facilities.
- the doors are sometimes exposed to a high risk of damage, for example due to collisions with industrial trucks. Due to the considerable mass of these vehicles and the goods that are sometimes transported, a collision can result in considerable damage to the gates.
- Both the door leaf and its guide can be irreversibly deformed. If the door leaf is held rigidly on the guides, these can also be torn from their anchorage on the building. In the event of such damage, a complete replacement of the gate is usually necessary, which entails a lengthy and costly interruption to operations.
- the object of the invention is to increase the operational reliability of a generic door using simple and inexpensive means.
- the object of the invention and the solution to this problem is a door according to claim 1 and a method according to claim 14.
- connection between the fastening element and the door leaf is designed to be separable by the application of force and the fastening element is set up to automatically reach a detection area of the presence detection device after separation from the door leaf in order to trigger it.
- the fastening element is connected to the door leaf, this prevents the associated side guide from leaving.
- the connection between the fastening element and the door leaf is so heavily loaded that it is separated - which is equivalent to the door leaf "jumping out" from the guide - the fastening element reaches the detection area of the gravitational force Presence detection device and triggers it.
- the drive of the door leaf is stopped. Jumping out of the door leaf can thus be detected without additional sensors and suitable measures can be taken by the control. Damage to the door leaf caused by the drive continuing to run is prevented.
- the drive of the door leaf is blocked by the fastening element after the presence detection device has been triggered. This means that the control consequently prevents the operation of the drive, at least in the closing direction. Regular further operation is only possible as soon as the presence detection device no longer reports any obstacles to the controller in its detection area.
- the door leaf performs an automatic opening movement between stopping and disabling the drive.
- the drive of the door leaf is blocked in the fully open position.
- the presence detection device can be triggered in certain positions by the door leaf itself, a signal from the presence detection device in these positions is expediently ignored by the controller and the door operation, at least in the opening direction, continues to be enabled. This is expedient in particular in cases when the presence detection device is used at the same time to check the end position of the door leaf in the closing direction.
- the comparison as to whether the door leaf is in such an end position can be carried out as a plausibility check using a displacement sensor coupled to the door leaf movement and/or an expected position of the door leaf determined by the controller using the control data sent in the past.
- the blocking of the drive is expediently effective both in the opening and in the closing direction.
- the fastening element can be reconnected to the door leaf after it has been separated, preferably without tools.
- the repair and re-commissioning of the gate is greatly simplified. This can be done by a simple user who, once the damaging force on the door leaf has ceased, only needs to bring it back into the guide and connect it to the fastening element.
- At least one side guide has a cavity and a longitudinal opening, in particular of constant width, running in the closing direction.
- the fastening element is designed with an anchor section which is arranged in the cavity and is oversized in relation to the longitudinal opening.
- the fastener is held by the anchor portion within the cavity enclosed by the side rail, so that the fastener cannot be pulled out of the side rail.
- a forced guidance results, which limits possible movement to the longitudinal extent of the lateral guide (closing direction).
- the fastening element is guided into the detection area of the presence detection device during its automatic movement caused by the effect of gravity.
- the longitudinal opening expediently has a width which enables the user's hand to reach into it.
- the distance between the border enclosing the longitudinal opening and the door leaf can be at least partially bridged by one or more sealing elements, preferably brush strips. This reduces or prevents air and/or heat exchange between the two door leaf sides when closed. Furthermore, during a movement, the running motion and the operating noise are minimized by an elastic sealing element.
- the sealing elements can also contribute to a soft centering of the door leaf within the longitudinal opening.
- the lateral guide can be formed in one piece or from several parts of one or more materials.
- the lateral guide is preferably formed from a metallic material, in particular folded sheet steel.
- the lateral guide is designed as a rail that is C-shaped in horizontal section.
- the side guides are expediently of identical design.
- any longitudinal openings can preferably be arranged facing one another.
- the fastening element is arranged at least with an anchor section, preferably completely inside the lateral guide. This means that no part of the anchor section or the entire fastening element protrudes beyond the convex shell of the lateral guide. This creates a risk of injury from contact with the fastener and also minimizes the risk of damaging it.
- the fastening element therefore remains within the lateral guide during its movement caused by the effect of gravity into the detection range of the presence detection device.
- only the anchor section is located entirely within the side guides. This is connected by a narrow web to a device for producing a detachable connection to the door leaf.
- the device for producing a detachable connection is located outside of the lateral guide and is therefore particularly easily accessible. Furthermore, this reduces the amount of force required to separate the door leaf from the fastening element.
- the door is to be arranged in such a way that the lateral guides run in the vertical direction, ie in the direction of the effective direction of gravity. This includes all alignments that are not perpendicular to the vertical direction.
- the fastening element can thus reach the detection range of the presence detection device driven solely by the effect of gravity. Additional drive means are not necessary.
- Particularly preferably the side guides are oriented vertically, ie oriented at an angle of 5° or less with respect to the vertical direction.
- the door leaf In the case of the side guides running in the vertical direction, the door leaf is in its open position above the closed position.
- the detection range of the presence detection device expediently extends at least close to the bottom end of the side guides (bottom stop), which can be formed by a floor surface.
- the distance between the detection area and the underside end of the side guides (closing direction) is less than the height of the fastening element measured in the direction in which the side guides extend. This ensures that the fastening element is detected by the presence detection device when it reaches the stop on the underside.
- the door is designed as a roller door.
- the door leaf can be wound up and down again by means of the drive on a shaft arranged at the opening-side end of the lateral guides, so that even when it is open it only requires a very small amount of space.
- the door leaf In the unwound state (closed position), the door leaf—which can be wound at least about an axis parallel to the side direction—is stabilized by the side guides and held in its flat shape.
- the invention can be used in a particularly preferred manner in the case of a roll-up door designed as a roll-up door.
- the door leaf includes a flexible curtain and a bottom bar.
- the curtain can be formed in particular from a flexible material (in particular a tarpaulin, a plastic film, plastic-coated fabric and combinations thereof).
- Such hangings have the advantage that they can be bent at any point or kinked so that they can be wound up on a roller in a particularly space-saving manner.
- a durable, reliable and, if necessary, weatherproof and opaque closure of the door opening is provided. Additional reinforcements can be integrated into the curtain, which increase its rigidity perpendicularly to the intended winding direction.
- the end bar forms the end of the door leaf in the closing direction.
- the end bar can also be subjected to a force in the closing direction in order to keep the curtain arranged between the shaft and the end bar under tension.
- this function can also be provided or supported by the dead weight of the end beam.
- Winding gates designed in this way are characterized by particularly good running properties, which enable rapid opening and closing. These are designed in particular as high-speed doors that are operated at travel speeds of 1.5 m/s and more.
- the door leaf In order to allow the door leaf to jump out, in particular on a non-flexible end beam, it can engage in the lateral guide with flexible extensions.
- this extension When a force is applied to the door leaf perpendicular to the plane of the door leaf (ie in the direction of thickness), this extension deforms so that it leaves the lateral guide.
- the fastening element is expediently held on this extension so that it can be separated and reconnected.
- Such an extension can in particular be formed as a plate-shaped sword made of plastic material, which is placed with an end cap on a rigid central body of the end beam.
- the base body of the end beam itself can also be designed to be flexible and/or bendable.
- a flexible end beam can be made from an elastic solid or hollow material.
- the bending is preferably elastic, i. H. completely reversible.
- a foldable end beam is formed from at least two mutually pivotable in a defined manner and resettable.
- the base body of the end beam comprises several enveloping segments, in particular pipe sections, which are pressed against one another at their abutting surfaces by an internal traction means and are thus combined to form a continuous base body.
- the traction means can be designed with a one-dimensionally movable articulated chain.
- the flexible curtain comprises at least one strut, which extends between the two side guides and is held on at least one side guide by means of at least one fastening element that is fastened in a separable manner.
- these (additional) fastening elements improve the guidance of the door leaf and the holding function within the lateral guide.
- the winding gate is held, in particular exclusively, on the side guides with fastening elements that are detachably fastened to the end beam.
- the door leaf - in particular the curtain - can be guided in the side guides.
- the curtain protrudes into an area which is surrounded on both sides by a lateral guide in the thickness direction. Projections can also be arranged on the curtain, which hold the curtain in the lateral guide.
- the roller door can also be designed as a slatted door.
- this forms a roller door curtain made of a large number of slats, which are articulated to one another about tilting axes running parallel to the side direction.
- slats can also have a flexibility which, in the event of a load, allows them to jump out of the side guides without being destroyed. This hits especially for plastic slats, especially unfilled hollow profiles.
- Such gate constructions can also be further developed within the meaning of the invention with a suitable fastening element.
- the separable connection between the door leaf and the fastening element preferably comprises a mechanical latching connection.
- the latching connection enables the fastening element and the door leaf to be simply plugged together. No tools are required for these.
- a latching connection is based on the principle that a latching body is held in a latching receptacle in a positive and/or non-positive manner.
- the locking body can be pushed into the locking receptacle despite being oversized, since the opening of the locking receptacle can be elastically widened and/or the dimensions of the force body can be elastically reduced.
- the latching connection is engaged by elastic recovery after insertion.
- the locking body is equipped as a locking pawl with a sawtooth profile.
- the saw-tooth profile has at least one insertion bevel which, during an insertion movement into a locking receptacle, ensures that the latter is widened and/or that the locking pawl is compressed or countersunk in an associated carrier.
- the back slope opposite the insertion slope expediently has a different, in particular greater slope. In this way, in conjunction with the elastic restoring force of the latching pawl and/or latching receptacle, the force required to separate the latching connection can be adjusted. Due to the comparatively flatter slide-on bevel, the snap-in connection can be closed with less (manual) force. To solve the locking connection, however, significantly larger forces - as these only occur in extraordinary operating conditions - are required. This will create a Safe operation of the door is guaranteed, since the snap-in connection does not come loose even with lower - normal - loads.
- the locking connection can also be formed with geometries that deviate from this—for example, with a locking body that is circular in cross section and a locking receptacle that includes one or more legs in the shape of a segment of a circle.
- connection between the fastening element and the door leaf is formed by a large number of snap-in connections. These can be formed sequentially from a plurality of snap-in connections arranged one behind the other. It is expedient if one connection partner has a plurality of latching bodies with external dimensions that decrease in the direction of insertion and/or the other latching partner has a plurality of latching receptacles with internal dimensions that decrease in the direction of insertion.
- the individual detent bodies can be compatible with all detent receptacles. As a result, when pushing in, a weaker locking connection is initially achieved between mutually unassigned locking bodies and locking receptacles, which is reinforced during further insertion in that the respective locking bodies reach the locking receptacles assigned to them.
- the separable connection between the door leaf and the fastening element can comprise a magnetic connection.
- Magnetic connections can be separated and reassembled with particularly low wear.
- the tensile force required for separation can be precisely adjusted via the strength of the respective magnet halves.
- magnet arrangements can also be used with other types of connections as an additional positioning and/or insertion aid.
- suitable magnet arrangements ensure that they are aligned with one another in such a way that the other connection can close optimally.
- the presence detection device has at least one transmitter unit and/or one receiver unit within the side guides.
- the presence detection device is set up to infer the presence of an object within the reception area as a function of the signal detected in the reception unit.
- the presence detection unit includes a light barrier, particularly preferably a light grid.
- the light barrier (or at least part of the light grid) is particularly preferably arranged in the area of the closing end of the side guides, ie in particular near the floor.
- the fastening element is preferably designed in such a way that its height in the longitudinal direction of the side guides is greater than the distance from the light barrier (or the bottom light barrier of the light grid) to the closing end of the side guides, in particular to the floor.
- the height of the fastening element is also preferably designed to be greater than the greatest distance between two adjacently arranged light beams. The "height" here is to be understood as the greatest extension of the fastening element in the closing direction.
- the distance between two adjacent light beams of a light grid, aligned parallel to the lateral direction, in the closing direction is preferably 40 mm to 50 mm, in particular 45 mm.
- the light grid up to a first height, has a multiplicity of light beams arranged equidistantly in the closing direction, each with a paired first distance and a distance deviating therefrom above the height.
- the first height is preferably 30 cm to 1 m.
- the distance above the first height is a multiple of the first distance, in particular three to five times the first distance.
- the invention also relates to a method for operating a door according to the invention as described above.
- the door leaf In the event of a fault, the door leaf is separated from the fastening element by mechanical overloading of the door leaf.
- the effect of gravity causes the fastening element to enter the detection range of the presence detection device, which is triggered as a result.
- the controller stops the drive. An opening movement is preferably initiated immediately thereafter and the drive is blocked in the open position which is then reached.
- the user then reconnects the door leaf to the fastening element. It is then no longer in the detection range of the presence detection device, so that the controller can release the drive again.
- this can be repaired and put back into operation using simple means, preferably without tools, as a result of a collision with the door leaf.
- the user can override the error triggered by the presence detection device in order to repair the gate.
- the controller is put into an operating state by a suitable input, for example an additional keystroke, in which the drive can be controlled and put into operation at least by manual user input.
- the 1 shows a door 1 according to the invention according to a first embodiment of the invention in the closed state.
- the gate 1 comprises a lateral direction x and a closing direction when closed y-extending door leaf, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is formed with a curtain formed from a tarpaulin 2 and comprising sections and stabilizing webs 3, as well as an end beam 4 arranged on the underside.
- the door leaf 2, 3, 4 is guided on two lateral guides 5 in the closing direction y and can be moved by means of a drive 6 between the closed position shown and the open position in which it releases a door opening.
- the drive 6 comprises an electric motor 7 which moves a winding shaft 9 via a gear 8 .
- On this flexible curtain 2, 3 can be wound up to open.
- the side rails - and accordingly the closing direction y - are aligned vertically.
- the drive 6 is controlled by a control unit 10 and supplied with electrical energy.
- a presence detection device 12 in the form of a light grid is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the floor surface 11 . This is formed by two strips indicated by dashed lines inside the side guides 5 .
- the light grid spans parallel light beams running in the lateral direction x, which are arranged one above the other in the thickness direction z and spaced apart in the closing direction y.
- the light beams emitted by the light grid cover the entire door leaf width B.
- the bottom light beam of the light grid 12 runs at a height h of 45 mm above the floor surface 11.
- the beam is interrupted and a corresponding signal is passed on to the control unit 10 .
- the control unit is set up to stop the drive 6 after the presence detection device 12 has been triggered.
- the presence detection device is used in the exemplary embodiment to detect when the door leaf has reached an end position.
- Figure 2A shows a partial horizontal section through gate 1 according to FIG 1 along a line AA.
- the illustration has been simplified for the sake of clarity and, for example, parts lying behind it, such as the winding roller 9 and its suspension, have been omitted.
- the door leaf is shown in the form of a section of the tarpaulin 2 and a stabilizing web 3 which each engage in a lateral guide 5 .
- the lateral guide is constructed in several parts and comprises two metal angle profiles 5a, 5b, which are screwed together. Together they form a C-shaped hollow profile with a cavity 13 and a longitudinal opening 14 running in the closing direction y and accessible in the lateral direction x.
- the door leaf 2, 3 protrudes through the opening 14 into the cavity 13 and is surrounded by the lateral guide 5 in the thickness direction z.
- the end sections of the C-shaped profile of the lateral guide 5 open into two elastic sealing elements 15, which are designed as brush strips. In the case of the stabilizing webs 3, these lie against the door leaf 2, 3 and also at least partially bridge the distance between the ends of the C-shaped profile and the sections of the curtain 2, 3 formed by a tarpaulin 2.
- the presence detection device 12 is formed by a light bar, which spans a light curtain. This extends to at least a minimum height (h) with its lowest light beam on the floor surface 11 .
- the light curtain extends over the entire height H of the side guides 5.
- a screw connection 16, with which the side guide is fastened to a building wall, is shown schematically.
- Figure 2B shows a horizontal partial section through the object according to FIG 1 along a plane BB. This shows the fastening element 17 used according to the invention, which is fastened to the end beam 4 by means of a coupling element 18 .
- the fastening element 17 has a plate-shaped anchor section 17a which is oversized in relation to the longitudinal opening 14 .
- the detachable and releasable connection between the fastening element 17 and the end beam 4 is produced by two flexible, circular-arc-shaped legs 17b which enclose a cylindrical coupling section 18a of the coupling element 18 .
- the drive 6 is stopped by means of the control unit 10 .
- the drive 6 then immediately performs an opening movement. When the open position is reached, the drive stops and is blocked in this end position.
- a variant of the fastener 17 is in the Figure 2C shown.
- the difference to Figure 2B is that the end bar 4 is shorter, so that the coupling element 18 does not engage in the lateral guide 5 .
- the coupling portion 18a is outside of the sealing members 15.
- a comparative consideration with the Figure 2B it can be seen that the web 17c, which connects the anchor section 17a to the arcuate legs 17b, is designed to be elongated.
- the web 17c forms the narrowest part of the fastening element 17 in the direction of thickness z and is between the Sealing elements 15 arranged.
- the position of the anchor portion 17a is compared to Figure 2B almost unchanged.
- FIG. 3A Further details on the fastener 17 according to this embodiment is the Figure 3A refer to.
- the plate-like anchor section 17a with rounded corners can be clearly seen. This is connected by a web 17c to the integrally formed attachment legs 17b. Together they form a sleeve segment which is predominantly cylindrical on the inside.
- An alignment web 17d for engaging in an associated alignment groove 18b on the coupling section 18a of the coupling element 18 is provided in the center.
- a centering groove 18b can be seen centrally on the coupling section 18a.
- the coupling section 18a is arranged on a sword-like extension 18c which is designed to engage in the longitudinal opening 14 of the lateral guide 5 .
- FIG. 3B one of those Figures 1 to 3A deviating alternative embodiment shown:
- the upper side of the extension 18c has a column 18d for receiving a section of the tarpaulin 2 of the curtain.
- the tarpaulin 2 can be fixed directly to the coupling element 18 with screw connections 19 running through the screw holes 18e.
- a connecting section 18f with a cylindrical cap and screw connectors arranged thereon is also provided.
- the Figure 3C shows the coupling element 18 for the embodiment according to FIG Figures 1 to 3A .
- This is essentially off with the presentation Figure 3B identical, with the connecting section 18f having a rectangular receptacle for an angular hollow profile as the end bar 4 .
- the screw connection for securing the end beam 4 is carried out counter to the closing direction y.
- the 4 shows one of the 1 corresponding representation in a further embodiment. This essentially differs in that the curtain is formed exclusively by a tarpaulin 2 . In these viewing windows 2a are inserted from a transparent plastic material. Other differences relate to the design of the fastening element 17'.
- FIG. 5A to 5C A comparative view of Figures 5A to 5C is - in contrast to the Figures 2A to 2C - It can be seen that the presence detection device 12 does not reach into the upper gate area, in which the cut shown was carried out.
- the door leaf 2, 4 is reduced to a door tarpaulin 2 in this area. This is surrounded with its end areas by the legs of the lateral guide 5 and guided thereby. The end areas mentioned are held by projections 20 within the lateral guide. Compared to the longitudinal opening 14, the projections are oversized.
- the end area of the curtain 2 can be pulled out of the guide by the application of force, since on the one hand the sealing elements 15 have a flexible bristle strip which can be pushed apart and on the other hand the projections 20 have hemispherical, elastically deformable caps 20a.
- the fastening element 17' shown also has an anchor section 17a ⁇ which is oversized in relation to the longitudinal opening 14.
- the anchor section 17a' is formed via a web 17c' with two pairs of locking fingers 17b' arranged one above the other in the closing direction y. Openings 21 are provided in the latching fingers 17b', which serve as receptacles for the latching connection with the associated coupling element 18'.
- the fingers 17b ⁇ can be elastically bent apart. Fixation in the closing direction y takes place via the peripheral border of the openings 21.
- the anchor section 17a' has a height a in the closing direction and a width b in the thickness direction z, which are each greater than the width of the longitudinal opening 14.
- the width b of the anchor section 17a' is smaller than its height a.
- the coupling element 18 'off Figure 6B has an identical basic structure to the coupling element 18 Figure 3B on.
- the elements designated by the reference symbols 18c to 18f are constructed identically.
- the latching fingers 17b′ are provided for engaging in the receptacles 21 . These have a slide-on bevel 22a at the front in the direction of insertion and a back bevel 22b. How to do a comparative study with Figure 5B removes, the rear surface 22b has a greater slope than the slide-on slope 22a.
- the coupling element shown corresponds to the combination of the connection with the end beam Figure 3C , provided with the latching hooks 22 for connection to the fastening element 17', as is formed in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 6B.
- Both illustrated embodiment variants for the separable and reconnectable locking connection between the door leaf and the fastening element can thus be flexibly adapted to the circumstances.
