Abstract

The invention relates to a container device for receiving products intended for human consumption according to the preamble of claim 1. In particular, the invention relates to a container device for receiving a liquid secreting food such as fruit salad.

Container-packaged foods such as meat, fish, mussels, fruit salad, vegetable salad or the like which secrete liquid during the time of transport and storage of the container place special demands on the manner of packaging. Unless special measures are taken, over time a more and more secreted liquid accumulates in the packaging container visibly for a potential buyer. The more liquid becomes visible, the more the potential buyer gets the impression that it is not a fresh food. This impression could deter the buyer from buying the packaged food. Especially with a food such as fruit salad, which secretes relatively much liquid in a relatively short time, this subjective impression, however, deceives regularly. Nevertheless, experience has shown that potential buyers are very much guided by subjective and rather less objective criteria in their decisions to buy or not to buy.

Various packages for liquid-secreting food are known from the prior art, in which the respective packaging or the respective container for receiving the food is divided into two parts. A first container area serves to receive the liquid-segregating food, and a second container area serves to receive the liquid separated with time. Both container areas are separated from one another by a partially liquid-permeable separation such that only the separated liquid, but not the food as such, can enter the second container area from the first container area. An advantage of such containers known from the prior art is that the prospective buyer does not notice the liquid secreted by the food when looking at the container, the food looks fresh over a longer period of time, and the buyer does not in this way make his buying decision is adversely affected by purely subjective criteria. The invention has for its object to provide a novel container device for receiving products intended for human consumption, which is particularly suitable for storing a liquid secreting food, such as fruit salad, in an attractive manner, and at the same time a better space utilization efficiency and higher Liquid utilization efficiency than the container referred to in the preceding paragraph allows from the prior art.

As with the known from the prior art containers for storing a liquid secreting food and both the inventive container device according to claim 1 and the container device according to the invention are separated according to claim 2 in two parts. The separating element is a completely or partially liquid-permeable screen element. In contrast to the containers known from the prior art, however, this shielding element can be easily removed by the user both in the case of the container device according to the invention and in the container device according to the invention as claimed in claim 2, thus eliminating the separation of the two container parts. Particularly preferred are the embodiments according to claims 9 and 13. Fig. 1 shows purely schematically and not to scale a cross section through a first embodiment of a container device according to the invention 1. The foldable material, with which the support struts 7 of the shielding element 6 is covered, is liquid-permeable.
