Definitions
- the invention relates to cosmetic product applicators.
- a mascara article, or “mascara”, conventionally comprises a case, a reservoir of mascara and an applicator.
- applicators There are two types of applicators, those of the brush type and those injected.
- a brush-type applicator forms a brush which comprises bristles formed by fibers trapped in a twisted metal wire forming the core of the applicator.
- An injected applicator is one piece and has plastic bristles or teeth.
- Such applicators give satisfactory results for the user. But the user is always looking for new or better makeup effects. For example, the user sometimes seeks a “natural” makeup effect in which the separation of the eyelashes does not have an excessively regular appearance.
- One object of the invention is therefore to improve cosmetic product applicators.
- the non-regular arrangement of the supports along the longitudinal axis of the applicator makes it possible to separate the eyelashes also in a non-regular manner.
- This type of separation is particularly interesting since it makes it possible to obtain a “ruffled” effect and thus gives the impression of denser and more voluminous eyelashes.
- This non-regularity can for example correspond to supports spaced apart two by two by variable distances along the longitudinal axis of the applicator or else to supports oriented in several different non-parallel directions.
- the applicator has parts of different configurations which can be used for different respective make-up gestures or make-up modes.
- One of the parties can, for example, promote the coating of the eyelashes by means of the product, another the separation of the eyelashes or their curling, yet another the fine makeup of certain areas.
- the number of supports arranged in a non-regular manner may be equal to four, five, six or more.
- the number of protrusions per support may be at least two. He can by example be three, four, five, six or more.
- At least one of the supports is different from all the others by a dimension of the support and/or a shape of the support.
- the supports are all different from one another by a dimension of the support and/or a shape of the support.
- At least one of the supports has no axis of symmetry and/or no plane of symmetry.
- the support has no symmetry with respect to the longitudinal axis of the applicator or along a plane radial to this same axis.
- At least one of the supports has a non-flat face.
- At least one of the supports has an unregulated surface, all the supports preferably having an unregulated face.
- the supports have for example at least one concave portion and/or at least one convex portion.
- At least one of the supports has the general shape of a sheet.
- These sheets may have a generally wavy shape.
- their shape may be oblong, cordate (heart-shaped), lanceolate, oval, elliptical, deltoid or webbed.
- At least one of the supports comprises at least two through openings.
- the cosmetic product carried by the support can flow through it so as to be distributed homogeneously over several faces of the support and between the different supports.
- the outline of these openings may have different general shapes.
- At least a part of at least one of the supports is formed by a ramification of branches, the ramification forming the openings.
- branches can be elongated and extend outwards from a middle portion of the support. Or that the various branches of a support meet at their distal end in order to form the openings of the support.
- the supports are distributed in pairs of adjacent supports along the longitudinal axis of the applicator, each support being closer to the support of the same pair than to the other supports.
- the grouping of the supports leads to the creation of portions of the applicator denser than others in supports and therefore in protrusions carried by these supports.
- the appearance of alternating portions of the applicator more or less dense in protrusions further increases the irregular appearance of the applicator.
- the supports follow one another along the longitudinal axis of the applicator and at least two of the supports directly following each other form a cell between them.
- This cell is capable of containing cosmetic product after the applicator has come out of a reservoir of product.
- This cell therefore also forms a reserve of product when the applicator is taken out of the reservoir and makes it possible to reduce the number of times that the user is obliged to plunge the applicator back into the reservoir.
- the volume of this cell depends in particular on the distance which separates the two supports which form it as well as on the size of these supports. Thus, the further apart these two supports are, the greater the volume of the cell will be and vice versa. In addition, the greater the dimension of the two supports, the greater the volume of the cell and vice versa.
- the cell passes through a longitudinal axis of the applicator.
- the applicator comprises at least two cells which communicate with each other via at least one opening of one of the supports.
- the product comprised in these cells is distributed homogeneously between the different cells in order to obtain a better makeup result.
- the supports have in their middle portion a through opening which facilitates the communication of the two cells between which the opening is located.
- the protuberances form spines which extend from the support.
- These thorns that extend the supports have the function of applying mascara to the eyelashes, combing them and separating them. They are, for example, thin and straight or slightly curved. These spines oriented in non-regular directions make it possible to accentuate the disordered effect of the eyelashes. It is of course possible to provide for these thorns to have different shapes, for example hook, zigzag or even helical shapes.
- the protuberances which extend from the same support do not form a repeating pattern.
- the protuberances of any one of the supports are not arranged in the same way as the protuberances of the other supports.
- the applicator has no axis of symmetry and/or no plane of symmetry.
- the applicator does not include an axis of symmetry along the main longitudinal axis of the applicator and/or does not have symmetry along a longitudinal plane or a horizontal plane. Again, the messy effect is enhanced by this feature.
- the applicator has no core.
- the applicator comprises a free end that is thinner than the rest of the applicator.
- This characteristic facilitates the introduction of the applicator into a case of the cosmetic product article. It also facilitates the make-up of small eyelashes or the execution of corrections during make-up.
- the applicator has an open cell foam structure.
- This structure gives the applicator greater flexibility, particularly in bending. This is a flexibility of the entire structure and in particular of the surface envelope of the applicator, like a natural sponge. This flexibility is found particularly at the level of the protuberances, which facilitates make-up.
- the structure of the applicator can also be described as an open-pore foam structure. This structure is formed by a network of branches which are connected to each other in a punctual manner at points distributed in the volume defined by the external envelope of the brush.
- the production in one piece has the particular advantage of being faster to produce.
- the applicator can be made of a single material or several different materials.
- the mascara applicator 1 described in this embodiment is part of a cosmetic article 2 comprising a cap or stopper 3, to which the applicator 1 is rigidly attached, and a case 4 comprising a reservoir of mascara 5 and a wiper 6 (see figure 1 ) housed in a neck of the reservoir on which the cap can be fixed, for example screwed, removably to close the reservoir and the article.
- the applicator then extends into the reservoir and bathes in the mascara.
- the applicator is carried by a rod 8 which connects it to the cap 3.
- the article has a generally cylindrical shape, with a circular, square or elliptical section, and is elongated along its longitudinal axis 9.
- the rod 8 has a generally cylindrical shape and its longitudinal axis coincides with the longitudinal axis 9 of the applicator.
- the rod and the applicator are linked by one of their ends (see Figure 3A ).
- the article may have other general shapes, for example a general spherical, parallelepipedic or even cubic shape.
- the applicator comprises supports 10 for protrusions and protrusions 11.
- the applicator 1 comprises twelve supports 10 for protrusions, each comprising between ten and thirty protrusions 11.
- the number of supports 10 as well as the number of protrusions may vary. It is possible to envisage the presence of a reduced number of supports, for example five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, or eleven, or of a higher number of supports, for example fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, ten- seven, eighteen etc. It is also possible to envisage a larger number of protuberances being present on the same support, for example thirty-five, forty or forty-five, or a smaller number, for example between one and ten.
- Each support is flat in this case so as to present two faces opposite to each other.
- each face is non-planar and even non-regulated, and has one or more convex curvatures and/or one or more concave curvatures. Provision can be made for only one or some of the supports to have an unregulated face. Provision can also be made for at least some of the supports to be flat, or even for all the supports to be flat.
- no support has a plane of symmetry or an axis of symmetry. All supports are different from each other both in shape and size. Provision can of course be made for all the supports to be identical or for at least some of the supports to be identical.
- Some of the supports have for example the shape of a tile, a horse saddle, a portion of a cylinder, a cone or even a torus.
- One of the supports can have one of these shapes and another another of these shapes.
- each support 10 is in contact with at least one other support of the applicator and forms with it a junction at at least one point or even along a line or a curve.
- the supports 10 are arranged along the axis 9 in a non-regular manner.
- Each support 10 has in a middle portion a through central opening 12 from which several branches 13 extend.
- the central openings 12 of the supports 10 are all located along the axis 9. provide that at least one of the central openings 12 is not located along the axis 9, or even that all the central openings 12 are not located along the axis 9.
- All the branches 13 of the support are branched two two so as to form between them openings 14 of generally elongated oval shape. It is of course possible to provide openings 14 having a different general shape, for example circular, rectangular, oblong, or even having no particular shape.
- the supports 10 are grouped together in pairs 15 of supports neighboring each other (see figures 5A to 5D ).
- the supports of a pair are generally closer to each other than to the other pairs of supports of the applicator.
- a pair 15 of supports 10 comprises two supports which follow each other directly along the axis 9 and which merge, that is to say they have a mutual junction, over at least part of their respective middle portion.
- the applicator comprises six pairs 15 of supports which follow one another along the axis 9.
- the supports of the same pair 15 are for the most part interleaved. More precisely, if an upper face and a lower face of the supports are defined within a pair comprising a proximal support and a distal support, a part of the proximal support will face the upper face of the distal support and another part of the proximal bracket will face the underside of the distal bracket. It is of course possible to provide that no pair 15 is composed of interleaved supports or that only certain pairs are. It is also possible to provide groups of supports comprising a different number of supports 10. For example, it is possible to provide groups of three, four or five supports which all merge together at the level of at least part of their middle portion.
- the applicator thus comprises five cells 16.
- the cell is formed by the curvature of the supports of the respective pairs which are opposite one another.
- Each cell 16 communicates with the cell which follows it or directly precedes it along the axis 9. This communication takes place via the openings 12, 14 of the supports which form the cells. It is of course possible to provide that at least one of the cells 16 does not communicate with any other cell.
- Each cell crosses the longitudinal axis 9 and thus forms a tunnel.
- the cells are not delimited by two pairs 15 of supports but simply by two supports 10.
- each support 10 comprises between ten and thirty protrusions 11.
- These protuberances 11 are generally curved or rectilinear in shape and here form thorns which extend from the support.
- at least one of the protuberances 11 has a shape and/or a dimension and/or an orientation different from those of the other protuberances.
- each protuberance has a unique combination of these characteristics (shape, dimension and orientation) within the applicator. We can predict that several protrusions have the same shape, size and orientation characteristics within an applicator.
- protuberances could be formed by fingers, hairs, or twigs rather than spines.
- the applicator has no core, which gives it great flexibility and thus makes application more pleasant for the user. This flexibility promotes the exit of the product from the cells when the user uses the applicator.
- the absence of a core implies that the structure of the applicator is self-supporting.
- the user manipulates the applicator 1 while holding the cap 3 between her fingers and immerses the applicator 1 in the reserve of mascara 5 of the article 2.
- the cells 16, the openings 12, 14 as well as the supports 10 and the protrusions 11 are loaded with mascara.
- the user brings the applicator closer to her eyelashes in order to make them up and uses a conventional, essentially vertical make-up movement for this purpose.
- the mascara present on the spines 11 and on the supports 10 is thus deposited on the eyelashes.
- the thorns 11 as well as the edges of the supports 10 smooth this deposited mascara in order to avoid the formation of clumps and also perform a function of combing the eyelashes. Since each spine, as well as each support, has different dimensions and/or orientations and/or shapes, the eyelashes are combed in different directions, which promotes the desired “disheveled” effect.
- the applicator behaves like a sponge due to its flexibility and rejects mascara in the contact zones, that is to say in the application zones, which facilitates makeup by reducing in particular the number of times the user has to dip the applicator back into the reservoir, directing the mascara in the places where it is needed.
- the applicator 1 when the applicator 1 is pressed against an area of the eyelashes, it compresses locally due to its flexibility.
- the mascara present in a cell 16 close to this compression zone is therefore directed towards the application zone.
- This mascara can in particular spread, from its cell 16, on the support or supports 10 forming the cell then on the thorns 11 and is thus available for application.
- the openings 14, 12 of the supports also allow the mascara to spread from support to support within the applicator, this notably making it possible to mobilize mascara which is relatively far from the application zone.
- the applicator shown above is made in one piece. More particularly, this applicator is here manufactured by additive synthesis, also called three-dimensional printing.
- any appropriate material is suitable for making the applicator.
- This may be a plastic material, for example a polyamide, in particular a polyamide 1102, a PEBA 2301, or else an ABS-type resin, or even a powdered metal such as stainless steel or titanium.
- the material may be rigid but will preferably be elastically flexible. It is preferable that the material, in association with the characteristics of the shape of the applicator, give it a certain flexibility, in particular at the level of the supports and especially of the protrusions.
- a mascara applicator generally has a length of less than 20 mm.
- the applicator is initially designed using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- CAD computer-aided design
- STL format comprising the design data of the applicator thus designed is then exported. These data determine the shape of the applicator.
- Other standard file formats for additive synthesis can be used.
- This file is then processed by software provided by the manufacturer of the machine used to perform the additive synthesis.
- This software cuts the file into sections in the form of a hundred digital images in SLI or BFF format, each of them corresponding to a layer of the model to be printed, i.e. to a section of the applicator taken in a plane perpendicular to axis 9. These data are then transmitted to the printer to produce the applicator.
- treatments can be applied to the applicator in order, for example, to improve its appearance.
- the embodiment presented above relates to mascara applicators but these characteristics can be applied to other types of cosmetic product applicator such as nail varnish applicators or cosmetic product applicators for the eyebrows or the hair .
- an applicator comprising supports having at least three openings each having a different main direction of opening.

Description
The invention relates to cosmetic product applicators.
A mascara article, or “mascara”, conventionally comprises a case, a reservoir of mascara and an applicator. There are two types of applicators, those of the brush type and those injected. A brush-type applicator forms a brush which comprises bristles formed by fibers trapped in a twisted metal wire forming the core of the applicator. An injected applicator is one piece and has plastic bristles or teeth. Such applicators give satisfactory results for the user. But the user is always looking for new or better makeup effects.
One object of the invention is therefore to improve cosmetic product applicators.
To this end, according to the invention, a product applicator as defined in
The non-regular arrangement of the supports along the longitudinal axis of the applicator makes it possible to separate the eyelashes also in a non-regular manner. This type of separation is particularly interesting since it makes it possible to obtain a “ruffled” effect and thus gives the impression of denser and more voluminous eyelashes. This non-regularity can for example correspond to supports spaced apart two by two by variable distances along the longitudinal axis of the applicator or else to supports oriented in several different non-parallel directions.
In addition, due to its non-regular structure, the applicator has parts of different configurations which can be used for different respective make-up gestures or make-up modes. One of the parties can, for example, promote the coating of the eyelashes by means of the product, another the separation of the eyelashes or their curling, yet another the fine makeup of certain areas.
The number of supports arranged in a non-regular manner may be equal to four, five, six or more.
The number of protrusions per support may be at least two. He can by example be three, four, five, six or more.
Preferably, at least one of the supports is different from all the others by a dimension of the support and/or a shape of the support.
This characteristic makes it possible to amplify the phenomenon of non-regularity and therefore to further improve the makeup result. It is possible to envisage that all the supports have the same shape but that they each have a different dimension. It is also possible to envisage that the supports all have different shapes.
Preferably again, the supports are all different from one another by a dimension of the support and/or a shape of the support.
Advantageously, at least one of the supports has no axis of symmetry and/or no plane of symmetry.
This characteristic also amplifies the phenomenon of irregular separation of the eyelashes and thus makes it possible to improve the makeup result by giving the eyelashes an even more voluminous and denser appearance. More particularly, the support has no symmetry with respect to the longitudinal axis of the applicator or along a plane radial to this same axis.
Provision can be made for none of the supports to have an axis of symmetry and/or a plane of symmetry.
Provision can be made for there to be no symmetry along a plane perpendicular to the axis between two supports of the applicator.
Preferably, at least one of the supports has a non-flat face.
More preferably, at least one of the supports has an unregulated surface, all the supports preferably having an unregulated face.
The supports have for example at least one concave portion and/or at least one convex portion. Once again, this characteristic participates in the non-regular separation of the eyelashes, thus further promoting the make-up result described above.
Advantageously, at least one of the supports has the general shape of a sheet.
These sheets may have a generally wavy shape. In addition, their shape may be oblong, cordate (heart-shaped), lanceolate, oval, elliptical, deltoid or webbed.
Advantageously, at least one of the supports comprises at least two through openings.
Thus, the cosmetic product carried by the support can flow through it so as to be distributed homogeneously over several faces of the support and between the different supports. The outline of these openings may have different general shapes. One can for example provide contours of oval, circular shape, rectangular, oblong or contours that do not have a particular geometric shape.
Preferably, at least a part of at least one of the supports is formed by a ramification of branches, the ramification forming the openings.
Provision can be made for these branches to be elongated and extend outwards from a middle portion of the support. Or that the various branches of a support meet at their distal end in order to form the openings of the support.
Preferably, the supports are distributed in pairs of adjacent supports along the longitudinal axis of the applicator, each support being closer to the support of the same pair than to the other supports.
The grouping of the supports leads to the creation of portions of the applicator denser than others in supports and therefore in protrusions carried by these supports. Thus, the appearance of alternating portions of the applicator more or less dense in protrusions further increases the irregular appearance of the applicator. Provision can be made for these groups to comprise more than two supports, for example three, four or five. It is possible to envisage that the supports of the same pair merge at least in part at the level of a middle portion thereof forming their junction.
The supports follow one another along the longitudinal axis of the applicator and at least two of the supports directly following each other form a cell between them.
This cell is capable of containing cosmetic product after the applicator has come out of a reservoir of product. This cell therefore also forms a reserve of product when the applicator is taken out of the reservoir and makes it possible to reduce the number of times that the user is obliged to plunge the applicator back into the reservoir. The volume of this cell depends in particular on the distance which separates the two supports which form it as well as on the size of these supports. Thus, the further apart these two supports are, the greater the volume of the cell will be and vice versa. In addition, the greater the dimension of the two supports, the greater the volume of the cell and vice versa.
The cell passes through a longitudinal axis of the applicator.
This promotes distribution of the product all around the longitudinal axis of the applicator. This distribution makes it possible to load most of the applicator with product and avoids an excessive accumulation of product in certain areas of the applicator, which could lead to the deposit of too much product on the eyelashes and the eyelashes. appearance of packets.
The applicator comprises at least two cells which communicate with each other via at least one opening of one of the supports.
Thus, the product comprised in these cells is distributed homogeneously between the different cells in order to obtain a better makeup result. Preferably, the supports have in their middle portion a through opening which facilitates the communication of the two cells between which the opening is located.
Preferably, the protuberances form spines which extend from the support.
These thorns that extend the supports have the function of applying mascara to the eyelashes, combing them and separating them. They are, for example, thin and straight or slightly curved. These spines oriented in non-regular directions make it possible to accentuate the disordered effect of the eyelashes. It is of course possible to provide for these thorns to have different shapes, for example hook, zigzag or even helical shapes.
Advantageously, the protuberances which extend from the same support do not form a repeating pattern.
Advantageously again, the protuberances of any one of the supports are not arranged in the same way as the protuberances of the other supports.
These two characteristics also promote the effect of disorder of the eyelashes and the advantages which have been cited.
Preferably, the applicator has no axis of symmetry and/or no plane of symmetry.
More particularly, the applicator does not include an axis of symmetry along the main longitudinal axis of the applicator and/or does not have symmetry along a longitudinal plane or a horizontal plane. Again, the messy effect is enhanced by this feature.
Advantageously, the applicator has no core.
This characteristic gives the applicator greater flexibility, which in particular makes the application more pleasant for the user. Furthermore, in the case where the applicator has cells, the flexibility of the applicator due to the absence of a core promotes the exit of the product from the cells when the user uses the applicator. The absence of a core implies that the structure of the applicator is self-supporting.
Preferably, the applicator comprises a free end that is thinner than the rest of the applicator.
This characteristic facilitates the introduction of the applicator into a case of the cosmetic product article. It also facilitates the make-up of small eyelashes or the execution of corrections during make-up.
Advantageously, the applicator has an open cell foam structure.
This structure gives the applicator greater flexibility, particularly in bending. This is a flexibility of the entire structure and in particular of the surface envelope of the applicator, like a natural sponge. This flexibility is found particularly at the level of the protuberances, which facilitates make-up. The structure of the applicator can also be described as an open-pore foam structure. This structure is formed by a network of branches which are connected to each other in a punctual manner at points distributed in the volume defined by the external envelope of the brush.
Provision can be made for the applicator to be in one piece.
The production in one piece has the particular advantage of being faster to produce. The applicator can be made of a single material or several different materials.
Several techniques allow the production of a one-piece applicator, such as injection molding or additive synthesis.
There is also provided according to the invention a cosmetic article comprising an applicator as described above.
- obtaining data relating to the applicator; And
- of additive synthesis of the applicator by means of the data.
The advantage of this method of manufacture is in particular that it allows the production of applicators having a complex structure, which would be difficult or even impossible to produce by injection, taking into account in particular the existence of certain undercut parts.
Provision is also made according to the invention for a computer file comprising data capable of being used by a computer program to control the implementation of the method as described previously.
Provision is also made according to the invention for an electronic recording medium comprising, in recorded form, data making it possible to implement the method as described above.
Finally, provision is also made according to the invention for a method of making available a file as described previously with a view to downloading it onto a telecommunications network.

Of course, other types of articles with mascara applicators can be envisaged, for example "pen" type articles in which the applicator is not attached to a cap or even articles in which the applicator does not bathe in mascara reserve when not in use.
The article may have other general shapes, for example a general spherical, parallelepipedic or even cubic shape.
The applicator comprises
Each support is flat in this case so as to present two faces opposite to each other. In the present example, each face is non-planar and even non-regulated, and has one or more convex curvatures and/or one or more concave curvatures. Provision can be made for only one or some of the supports to have an unregulated face. Provision can also be made for at least some of the supports to be flat, or even for all the supports to be flat.
In addition, no support has a plane of symmetry or an axis of symmetry. All supports are different from each other both in shape and size. Provision can of course be made for all the supports to be identical or for at least some of the supports to be identical.
Some of the supports have for example the shape of a tile, a horse saddle, a portion of a cylinder, a cone or even a torus. One of the supports can have one of these shapes and another another of these shapes.
In the present case, each
The supports 10 are arranged along the
Each
Here, the supports of the
Two
Each
In an alternative embodiment, it is possible to provide that the cells are not delimited by two
As has already been said previously, each
Some, if not all, protuberances could be formed by fingers, hairs, or twigs rather than spines.
The foregoing characteristics give the applicator of the present example a messy, irregular and ruffled shape. It is observed in particular that the supports, like the protuberances, extend respectively in all directions. The same is true for the cells. We also notice that it has many undercut faces.
The applicator has no core, which gives it great flexibility and thus makes application more pleasant for the user. This flexibility promotes the exit of the product from the cells when the user uses the applicator. The absence of a core implies that the structure of the applicator is self-supporting.
Initially, the user manipulates the
When the applicator leaves the reservoir and therefore passes through
During use, the user brings the applicator closer to her eyelashes in order to make them up and uses a conventional, essentially vertical make-up movement for this purpose. The mascara present on the
During application, the applicator behaves like a sponge due to its flexibility and rejects mascara in the contact zones, that is to say in the application zones, which facilitates makeup by reducing in particular the number of times the user has to dip the applicator back into the reservoir, directing the mascara in the places where it is needed.
More precisely, when the
The applicator shown above is made in one piece. More particularly, this applicator is here manufactured by additive synthesis, also called three-dimensional printing.
Any appropriate material is suitable for making the applicator. This may be a plastic material, for example a polyamide, in particular a polyamide 1102, a PEBA 2301, or else an ABS-type resin, or even a powdered metal such as stainless steel or titanium.
The material may be rigid but will preferably be elastically flexible. It is preferable that the material, in association with the characteristics of the shape of the applicator, give it a certain flexibility, in particular at the level of the supports and especially of the protrusions.
On rappelle qu'un applicateur de mascara a généralement une longueur inférieure à 20 mm.It is recalled that a mascara applicator generally has a length of less than 20 mm.
Several additive synthesis methods can be used to produce an applicator as described previously. Mention may in particular be made of selective laser sintering from powdered material and stereolithography (SLA). In the present case, a selective laser sintering process is used, this process having the advantage of allowing the manufacture of objects having a complex shape.
The applicator is initially designed using computer-aided design (CAD) software. A file in STL format comprising the design data of the applicator thus designed is then exported. These data determine the shape of the applicator. Other standard file formats for additive synthesis can be used.
This file is then processed by software provided by the manufacturer of the machine used to perform the additive synthesis. This software cuts the file into sections in the form of a hundred digital images in SLI or BFF format, each of them corresponding to a layer of the model to be printed, i.e. to a section of the applicator taken in a plane perpendicular to
Once the synthesis is complete, treatments can be applied to the applicator in order, for example, to improve its appearance.
Bien entendu, on pourra apporter à l'invention de nombreuses modifications sans sortir du cadre de celle-ci.Of course, many modifications may be made to the invention without departing from the scope thereof.
The embodiment presented above relates to mascara applicators but these characteristics can be applied to other types of cosmetic product applicator such as nail varnish applicators or cosmetic product applicators for the eyebrows or the hair .
It is possible to provide an applicator in which the supports are distributed in a regular manner but on which the protrusions are distributed in a non-regular manner.
It is also possible to provide an applicator in which the supports are identical and each have the same organization of protrusions, these supports being distributed unevenly along the longitudinal axis of the applicator.
Provision can also be made for the applicator to comprise an exoskeleton structure.
It is possible to provide an applicator comprising supports having at least three openings each having a different main direction of opening.
