- This type of box generally made of cardboard, comprises a general parallelepiped shape with two large faces extended at each end by two large flaps, and two small faces extended at each end by two small flaps.
- the American box is generally delivered and stored in a flat position, that is to say folded along two diagonally opposite edges.
- the American box In order for the American box to receive bottles, it must be deployed in a reception position by giving it an open parallelepiped shape, and fold down, at first, the small bottom flaps orthogonally to the small faces and towards the center of the box and, in a second time, to fold down the large bottom flaps orthogonally to the large faces, towards the center of the box, and over the small flaps.
- the large flaps are then glued on the small flaps.
- the folding of these bottom flaps can form the bottom of the American fund.
- the small and large upper flaps are folded and glued in the same way to form the upper part of the American box.
- such a box is intended to receive six or twelve bottles, such as bottles of wine for example.
- the American fund includes vertical separating elements of bottles, called braces.
- the spider received inside the American box is, firstly achieved by the assembly of two separate parts and, secondly secured to one of the faces of the American box.
- This brace is shaped so that, during the deployment of the body in parallelepipedic position, said initially flat brace is deployed to be able to form vertical separation bins between the bottles.
- a second disadvantage of this type of American fund lies in the fact that the spider does not have a good performance inside the box.
- the invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, and thus to provide a box, preferably American type, for the reception of bottles, incorporating a separation spider, and a method of manufacturing such a box directly integrating the bottle separation brace.
- An object of the invention is to provide a box having no preferred direction of introduction in a method of packaging bottles in said box.
- Another object of the invention is to provide such a box whose spider is held securely inside the body.
- the invention aims to provide a method of manufacturing such a box which is simple and inexpensive to implement, with the box directly integrating the spider during its manufacture.
- transverse and longitudinal separation branches are hinged together to move from a flat position, when the body is in a position plane folded along two diagonally opposite edges, in a deployed position of receiving the bottles, concomitantly with the deployment of said box in an open parallelepipedic position.
- the transverse and longitudinal separation branches form bins each capable of receiving a bottle.
- the spider is glued on the four sides of the body so that its behavior is firm.
- the branches of the brace are interconnected in an articulated manner so that the simple deployment of the body in the open position concurrently leads to the deployment of the spider in the receiving position of the bottles.
- the spider is made in one piece so there is no risk of losing part of it at the end customer.
- such a box can be integrated into a bottling process bottles in any direction, the deployment of the cross is performed by the deployment of the box and does not depend on its orientation.
- the brace does not deploy by the force of gravity. The risk of poor deployment of the spider in an automatic bottle packing process is eliminated.
- the spider is shaped to make six bins for the reception and vertical separation of six bottles.
- the spider is specifically in the form of a rectangular cardboard sheet comprising first and second parts symmetrical to each other with respect to the center of symmetry of the rectangular sheet, the first and second parts being folded over one another along a transverse fold line.
- the second band of each of the first and second parts is glued, at its end arranged on the side of the first longitudinal edge, with the second lateral portion of the third band of the other symmetrical portion.
- the invention also relates to a manufacturing method as defined in claim 3, of such a box equipped with the separation spider.
- the invention relates to a box (10), preferably cardboard and American type, well known in the state of the art, in particular to receive for example six bottles of wine.
- the American box (10) incorporates a cross (1) of vertical separation, shaped to form six bottles receiving bins.
- the box (10) thus comprises two opposite large faces (3) connected to two opposite small faces (4).
- the terms “large” and “small” simply define dimensions relative to one another. The large dimension is indicated to oppose the small dimension, and vice versa.

Description
The present invention relates to the technical sector of the boxes, preferably so-called "American" boxes, and relates to a box incorporating a cross vertical bottle separation, and a method of manufacturing such a box.
It is known from the state of the art a so-called "American" box. This type of box, generally made of cardboard, comprises a general parallelepiped shape with two large faces extended at each end by two large flaps, and two small faces extended at each end by two small flaps.
Here, the terms "large" and "small" simply define dimensions relative to one another. The large dimension is only indicated to oppose the small dimension, and vice versa.
The American box is generally delivered and stored in a flat position, that is to say folded along two diagonally opposite edges.
In order for the American box to receive bottles, it must be deployed in a reception position by giving it an open parallelepiped shape, and fold down, at first, the small bottom flaps orthogonally to the small faces and towards the center of the box and, in a second time, to fold down the large bottom flaps orthogonally to the large faces, towards the center of the box, and over the small flaps. The large flaps are then glued on the small flaps. The folding of these bottom flaps can form the bottom of the American fund. After receiving the bottles, the small and large upper flaps are folded and glued in the same way to form the upper part of the American box.
In a preferred application, such a box is intended to receive six or twelve bottles, such as bottles of wine for example. For this purpose, the American fund includes vertical separating elements of bottles, called braces.
When these American boxes are delivered to a bottler, it integrates them, in a flat position, in a boxing process that opens the boxes and insert bottles.
In the current state of the art, the spider received inside the American box is, firstly achieved by the assembly of two separate parts and, secondly secured to one of the faces of the American box. This brace is shaped so that, during the deployment of the body in parallelepipedic position, said initially flat brace is deployed to be able to form vertical separation bins between the bottles.
However, a disadvantage inherent in the structure of this type of American fund lies in the fact that it requires a sense of use, including a sense of integration in a boxing process. Indeed, it is necessary that the box in planar position is integrated in the packing process so that it can be deployed with the large face, on which is glued the cross, arranged on the top so that, during the Deployment of the box, the spider is deployed also by the force of gravity.
A second disadvantage of this type of American fund lies in the fact that the spider does not have a good performance inside the box.
In addition, another disadvantage lies in the fact that the spider is integrated after the manufacture of the box. Indeed, in practice to fix the cross it is necessary to deploy the body, to insert the cross and paste it on the inside on one of the faces. The manufacturing process requires the use of several separate machines, including a machine to manufacture the box, a machine to make the cross, a machine to open the box manufactured, insert the cross and paste it inside.
These process steps are complex and weigh on the cost of manufacturing the American fund.
It is also known, in a non-advantageous manner, a reported brace, not integral with the interior of the body, to be inserted into the box directly by the end customer.
The invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, and thus to provide a box, preferably American type, for the reception of bottles, incorporating a separation spider, and a method of manufacturing such a box directly integrating the bottle separation brace.
An object of the invention is to provide a box having no preferred direction of introduction in a method of packaging bottles in said box.
Another object of the invention is to provide such a box whose spider is held securely inside the body.
The invention aims to provide a method of manufacturing such a box which is simple and inexpensive to implement, with the box directly integrating the spider during its manufacture.
For this purpose, it has been developed a box as defined in
- des branches de séparation longitudinales collées à leurs extrémités aux deux petites faces de la caisse, et ;
- longitudinal separation branches glued at their ends to the two small faces of the box, and;
- transverse separation branches glued at their ends to the two large faces of the body.
Said transverse and longitudinal separation branches are hinged together to move from a flat position, when the body is in a position plane folded along two diagonally opposite edges, in a deployed position of receiving the bottles, concomitantly with the deployment of said box in an open parallelepipedic position. In the extended bottle receiving position, the transverse and longitudinal separation branches form bins each capable of receiving a bottle.
Thus, according to the invention, the spider is glued on the four sides of the body so that its behavior is firm. In addition, the branches of the brace are interconnected in an articulated manner so that the simple deployment of the body in the open position concurrently leads to the deployment of the spider in the receiving position of the bottles. The spider is made in one piece so there is no risk of losing part of it at the end customer. Finally, such a box can be integrated into a bottling process bottles in any direction, the deployment of the cross is performed by the deployment of the box and does not depend on its orientation. The brace does not deploy by the force of gravity. The risk of poor deployment of the spider in an automatic bottle packing process is eliminated.
- une branche inférieure de séparation longitudinale dont les extrémités sont respectivement collées sur des zones correspondantes centrales des petites faces de la caisse ;
- des première et deuxième branches inférieures de séparation transversales, reliées de manière articulée à la branche inférieure de séparation longitudinale, et dont les extrémités sont collées sur des zones correspondantes des grandes faces de la caisse, respectivement au tiers et aux deux tiers des largeurs desdites grandes faces ;
- une branche supérieure de séparation longitudinale, reliée de manière articulée aux première et deuxième branches inférieures de séparation transversales, et dont les extrémités sont respectivement collées sur des zones correspondantes centrales des petites faces de la caisse ;
- a lower longitudinal separation branch whose ends are respectively bonded to corresponding central areas of the small sides of the box;
- first and second transverse lower transverse branches, connected in an articulated manner to the lower longitudinal separation branch, and whose ends are glued to corresponding areas of the large faces of the box, respectively to one-third and two-thirds of the widths of said large faces;
- an upper branch of longitudinal separation, connected in an articulated manner to the first and second lower transverse separation branches, and whose ends are respectively glued on corresponding central areas of the small faces of the body;

The invention relates to a box (10), preferably cardboard and American type, well known in the state of the art, in particular to receive for example six bottles of wine. For this purpose, the American box (10) incorporates a cross (1) of vertical separation, shaped to form six bottles receiving bins.
The box (10) thus comprises two opposite large faces (3) connected to two opposite small faces (4). The terms "large" and "small" simply define dimensions relative to one another. The large dimension is indicated to oppose the small dimension, and vice versa.
The upper and lower ends of the large faces (3) and the small faces (4) are extended at their upper and lower ends respectively by two large flaps (5) and two small flaps (6) intended to form the upper part and the bottom from the American fund (10). The terms "upper" and "lower" simply define relative orientations relative to each other, they can be reversed without departing from the scope of the invention.
According to the invention, the vertical separation spider (1) is formed in one piece and is directly integrated into the manufacturing process of the American box (10). The spider (1) is fixed to the four faces (3, 4) of said box (10) and is shaped to be deployed in a wine bottle receiving position in which it forms six reception bins, concomitantly with the deployment of the American box (10) in parallelepipedic open position.
The first and second portions (9, 11) each comprise a first band (12, 12 ') defined along the transverse fold line (8). This first band (12, 12 ') comprises a first end extended to a first longitudinal edge (13, 13') by an articulated tongue (14) intended to be glued to a corresponding central zone of one of the small faces (4) American fund (10). According to a preferred embodiment, a pre-cut line makes it possible to form this tongue (14) as well as the other articulated tongues (14) which will be described hereinafter, and to give them a folding and articulated character.
In order to improve the holding of the separation spider (1) inside the American box (10), the first strips (12, 12 ') of the first and second parts (9, 11) are intended to be glued together to form, when the spider (1) is integrated in said American box (10), a lower branch (15) or upper longitudinal separation after the deployment of the American box (10) in parallelepiped open position.
The first and second portions (9, 11) of the cardboard sheet (7) then each comprise a second strip (16, 16 ') arranged along the first strip (12, 12'). This second band (16, 16 ') extends from the first end of the first band (12, 12') and up to two-thirds of the length of said first band (12, 12 '). The second strip (16, 16 ') is hingedly connected to the first strip (12, 12'), in particular by a fold line (17) at half its length, such as a precut line for example. The end of the second strip (16, 16 ') which is located on the side of a second longitudinal edge (18, 18') is extended by a tongue (14) articulated to be glued to the corresponding area of the one of the large faces (3) of the American box (10), and at one-third of the width of said large face (3) to form first and second upper or lower transverse separation branches (19) after the deployment of the American box (10) in parallelepipedic open position.
The first and second longitudinal edges (13, 13 'and 18, 18') are defined in opposition to each other. The first longitudinal edge (13) of the first portion is symmetrical to the first longitudinal edge (13 ') of the second portion, relative to the center of symmetry of the rectangular cardboard sheet (7). It is the same for the second longitudinal edges (18, 18 ').
The first and second portions (9, 11) each further comprise a third band (20, 20 '), of the same length as the first band (12, 12'), arranged along the second band (16, 16 '). ). The third strip (20, 20 ') has first and second lateral portions (21, 21' and 22, 22 ') interconnected by a central portion (23, 23').
La première portion (21, 21') est reliée de manière articulée à la deuxième bande (16, 16') par une ligne de pliage (24, 24') agencée au niveau de la moitié de la longueur de la deuxième bande (16, 16').The first lateral portion (21, 21 ') is arranged on the side of the first longitudinal edge (13, 13') and is extended to the first longitudinal edge (13, 13 ') by a tongue (14) hinged to be glued on the corresponding central area of one of the small faces (4) of the American box (10). The first portion (21, 21 ') is hingedly connected to the second strip (16, 16') by a fold line (24, 24 ') arranged at half the length of the second strip (16, 16'). , 16 ').
Still with the aim of giving the brace (1) more stability and holding when it is integrated into the American crate (10), the central portions (23, 23 ') of the first and second parts (9, 11) of the cardboard sheet (7) are intended to be glued together.
The second lateral portion (22, 22 ') of the third band (20, 20') is, in turn, hingedly connected to the central portion (23, 23 ') by a fold line (25, 25'). ) and is extended to the second longitudinal edge (18, 18 ') by a tongue (14) articulated to be glued to the corresponding area of one of the large faces (3) of the American box (10) and to the two thirds of the width of said large face (3).
Thus, the assembly consisting of the first lateral portions (21, 21 ') and central portions (23, 23') of the first and second parts (9, 11) form the upper or lower branch (19) of longitudinal separation after the deployment of the American box (10) in parallelepipedic open position.
Afin d'améliorer davantage la tenue du croisillon (1) à l'intérieur de la caisse américaine (10), la deuxième bande (16, 16') de chacune des première et deuxième parties (9, 11) est destinée à être collée, au niveau de son extrémité agencée du côté du premier bord longitudinal (13, 13'), avec la deuxième portion latérale (22', 22) de la troisième bande (20', 20) de l'autre partie symétrique (9, 11).In order to further improve the holding of the spider (1) inside the American box (10), the second strip (16, 16 ') of each of the first and second parts (9, 11) is intended to be glued at its end arranged on the side of the first longitudinal edge (13, 13 '), with the second lateral portion (22', 22) of the third strip (20 ', 20) of the other symmetrical portion (9, 11).
The first and second portions (9, 11) each comprise a fourth strip (26, 26 '), arranged along the central portion (23, 23') of the third strip (20, 20 '), and likewise length than said central portion (23, 23 '). The end of said fourth band (26, 26 '), located on the side of the first longitudinal edge (13, 13'), is hingedly connected by a fold line (27, 27 ') to the first lateral portion ( 21, 21 ') of the third band (20, 20'). Said fourth strip (26, 26 ') is extended at an opposite end by a tongue (14) hinged to be glued to the corresponding area of one of the large faces (3) of the American box (10) and at the one third of the width of said large face (3).
Thus, the sets consisting of the fourth strips (26, 26 ') of one of the first and second parts (9, 11) and the second lateral portion (22', 22) of the third strip (20 ', 20) the other symmetrical part (11, 9) form upper or lower transverse separation branches (19) after the deployment of the American box (10) in the parallelepipedic open position.
- une branche inférieure (15) de séparation longitudinale dont les extrémités sont respectivement destinées à être collées sur des zones correspondantes centrales des petites faces (4) de la caisse américaine (10) ;
- des première et deuxième branches inférieures (19) de séparation transversales, reliées de manière articulée à la branche inférieure (15) de séparation longitudinale, et dont les extrémités sont destinées à être collées sur des zones correspondantes des grandes faces (3) de la caisse américaine (10), respectivement au tiers et aux deux tiers des largeurs desdites grandes faces (3) ;
- une branche supérieure (15) de séparation longitudinale, reliée de manière articulée aux première et deuxième branches inférieures (19) de séparation transversales, et dont les extrémités sont respectivement destinées à être collées sur des zones correspondantes centrales des petites faces (4) de la caisse américaine (10) ;
- a lower longitudinal branch (15) whose ends are respectively intended to be glued on corresponding central areas of the small faces (4) of the American box (10);
- first and second lower transverse separation branches (19), articulately connected to the lower longitudinal branch (15), and whose ends are intended to be glued to corresponding areas of the large faces (3) of the body American (10), respectively one-third and two-thirds of the widths of said large faces (3);
- an upper branch (15) of longitudinal separation, connected in an articulated manner to the first and second lower transverse separation branches (19), and whose ends are respectively intended to be glued on corresponding central regions of the small faces (4) of the American checkout (10);
- first and second upper transverse separation branches (19) connected in an articulated manner to the upper longitudinal separation branch (15) and whose ends are intended to be glued to corresponding areas of the large faces (3) of the body American (10), respectively one-third and two-thirds of the widths of said large faces (3).
The spider (1) used in the American box (10) according to the invention is obtained by any appropriate technique, including for example by a stamping die cutting technique, and is integrated directly into the manufacturing process of the American fund (10).
En effet, pour fabriquer la caisse américaine (10) selon l'invention, il convient de partir d'une bande de carton (28) présentant des lignes de pliage transversales (29) définissant successivement, la première grande face (3), la première petite face (4), la deuxième grande face (3), la deuxième petite face (4), et une languette transversale (30) destinée à être collée sur une extrémité libre de la première grande face (3).Indeed, to manufacture the American box (10) according to the invention, it is necessary to start from a cardboard strip (28) having transverse fold lines (29) defining successively, the first large face (3), the first small face (4), the second large face (3), the second small face (4), and a transverse tongue (30) intended to be bonded to a free end of the first large face (3).
This cardboard strip (28) also has longitudinal fold lines (31) defining the flaps (5, 6) at the upper and lower ends of said faces (3, 4) for acting as a top wall and a bottom wall. of said box (10).

Cette languette de contre-appui (33) permet de réaliser un facilite le collage de la languette (14) de la bande (12') avec la petite face (4) de la caisse (10).Advantageously and in order to facilitate the gluing of the tongue (14) of the first band (12 ') of the second part (11), the end of the first band (12) of the first part (9) is extended to the second longitudinal edge (18) by a counter-support tongue (33). This counter-support tongue (33) makes it possible to facilitate the gluing of the tongue (14) of the strip (12 ') with the small face (4) of the box (10).
This specific configuration of the spider (1) with transverse separation branches (19) and longitudinal (15) articulated and respectively fixed to the faces (3, 4) of the American box (10) via tabs (14) also articulated, allows said separation legs (15, 19) to move from a flat position when the American box (10) is in a flat position folded along two diagonally opposite edges, to a deployed position of receiving the bottles, concomitantly with the deployment of said American box (10) in an open parallelepipedic position.
In this particular embodiment, in the extended receiving position, said transverse (19) and longitudinal (15) separation branches form six bins each capable of receiving a bottle.
The American box (10) is advantageous in that it directly integrates the separating spider (1) during its manufacture, according to a simple method. The spider (1) is firmly attached to the four faces (3, 4) of the body (10), and has no preferred direction of deployment. The box (10) can be integrated in a bottling process bottles without worrying about the supply direction of said boxes (10) American. The machines for implementing the method according to the invention are well known in the state of the art and will not be described. These machines are not part of the invention. The skilled person, designer and manufacturer of cardboard boxes or American box (10) will, of course, from the functionality of existing machines, implement the method according to the invention. The machines used in particular make it possible to handle cardboard strips, to convey them, to bend them and to apply glue (32).
