Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a snow sports helmet with a swivel and lockable visor.
  • Winter sports helmets are worn today by many winter sports enthusiasts as head protection, especially by skiers and snowboarders.
  • the snow sports helmet is combined with a separate pair of skis or sunglasses to protect the eyes from snow, rain, sunlight, wind and other environmental conditions.
  • ski goggles are impractical, especially for spectacle wearers.
  • snow sports helmets with "integrated" ski or sunglasses were developed.
  • a ski helmet with a visor as a sunscreen can be moved by means of a lever at the front of the ski helmet continuously from an open position to a driving position, wherein it lies in the open position between an outer and an inner helmet layer.
  • the fastening and pivoting mechanism has locking positions in which the visor engages and therefore can not move without the influence of the wearer.
  • the visor at its end regions in each case a hole with locking projections, which engage in corresponding Rasteinbuchtungen on a connecting element and thus form the locking positions.
  • the present invention relates to a snow sports helmet having lateral attachment means for attachment of a visor on both sides. It should the visor in the attached state from an open position to a driving position be pivotable, wherein at least in the open position and in the driving position locking positions are present.
  • the adapter has a first means for fixed connection of the visor with the adapter and a second means for forming a pivotable and latchable connection mechanism with one of the lateral attachment means of the snow sports helmet.
  • the adapter allows secure attachment of the visor to the snow sports helmet. At the same time, it ensures a simple pivoting of the visor from the open position to the driving position, wherein an unwanted pivoting is prevented by the locking positions.
  • the main advantage of the adapter is that damage to the visor can be completely avoided by the pivoting process. Through the adapter, the connection mechanism no longer acts directly on the visor, so that wear can be prevented.
  • the second means comprises a convex element or a concave element for forming the pivotable and latchable connection mechanism. This allows a simple formation of a pivotable connection by cooperation with a corresponding concave or convex element of the fastening means.
  • the convex element or concave element also has at least one latching indentation or at least one locking projection for fixing locking positions. These are intended to cooperate in the connected state with corresponding latching projections or Rasteinbuchtitch.
  • the at least one latching recess or the at least one latching projection is optionally formed on a spring clip.
  • a spring clip allows easier pivoting from one locking position to another.
  • either the adapter or the fastening element has at least one spring clip.
  • connection of the adapter with the visor can be made basically detachable or non-detachable.
  • the first means for fixed connection of the visor with the adapter at least one recess into which an end portion of the visor can be inserted.
  • the end region is preferably introduced along a longitudinal axis L of the adapter.
  • the recess is bounded by a bottom and an at least approximately parallel to the bottom holding portion wherein the end portion of the visor between the bottom and the holding portion can be inserted.

  • this opening (s) and / or knob (s) Through this opening (s) and / or knob (s), a displacement of the visor relative to the adapter, in particular in the longitudinal direction L, is prevented.
  • the above-described recess is present, in particular slipping out of the end portion of the recess is prevented. This ensures a firm connection.
  • the adapter according to the invention has both the above-described recess and at least one opening and / or at least one pimple up. This ensures an optimal connection between visor and adapter.
  • the adapter in the bottom has a first opening and in a at least approximately parallel to the bottom retaining tab on a first opening aligned second opening.
  • the visor also has a corresponding, aligned in the connected state with the two openings breakthrough, so that the pin or other fixing element can be passed through the bottom, visor and retaining tab.
  • the material of the visor is usually dictated by its function: it should be transparent, shatterproof, bendable to a degree and relatively light. It can therefore not be chosen arbitrarily.
  • the adapter is made of plastic or a composite material, in particular of a thermoplastic material.
  • the adapter consists of polyamide or polycarbonate, in particular of nylon-polyamide PA 66. These materials are sufficiently stable to prevent damage, and at the same time sufficiently flexible to ensure easy pivoting and locking. They are unbreakable and abrasion-resistant, even at high temperatures, thus ensuring high precision.
