- Support 14 also includes a contact part 37, adjacent to output optics 36. Said contact part 37 is intended to be in contact with PCB 12 when said PCB is assembled to support 14, as on the picture 3 .
- housings 38 In said contact part 37 are formed housings 38, intended to be arranged opposite the LEDs 28 of the PCB 12. Between said housings 38 and the output optics 36, the support 14 optionally comprises optical devices and / or additional light guides (not shown), intended to transmit and diffuse light emitted by the LEDs 28 to the outside of the light device 10.
- the support 14 also comprises structural elements 40, intended for the assembly of said support 14 with the motor vehicle. These structural elements, as well as any parts already assembled to the support 14, generate a spatial encumbrance when mounting the PCB 12 on the support 14.
- the support 14 also comprises assembly elements with the PCB 12, so that in the assembled configuration ( Figure 3 ), the plate 16 is substantially disposed against the contact portion 37 along a plane (Y, Z), the first axis 22 being disposed along Y.
- a first assembly element of the support 14 with the PCB 12 is formed by a pivot rod 42.
- the pivot rod 42 is intended to be assembled to the through hole 30 of the PCB 12 and to cooperate with said through hole.
- the pivot rod 42 has a substantially longitudinal shape, arranged along a second axis 44 parallel to X.
- the pivot rod 42 forms a projection relative to the contact portion 37 of the support 14. Said projection is oriented rearward, either in the opposite direction to the exit optics 36.
- a second, free end of said pivot rod 42 is formed by an insertion button 46.
- the PCB 12 is in a nesting configuration of the through hole 30 with the insertion button 46, making it possible to thread the PCB 12 onto the pivot rod 42.
- the plate 16 is substantially arranged perpendicular to the second axis 44.
- the first face 18 of said plate 16 is oriented towards the contact part 37 of the support 14, ie forwards in the figures.
- the first axis 22 forms an angle ⁇ ( Figure 3 ) with the position of said axis 22 in the assembled configuration.
- the angle ⁇ is greater than or equal to 45°.
- the angle ⁇ is substantially equal to 90°.
- the first axis 22 is arranged along Z and the second end 33 of the plate 16 is oriented downwards.
- a cross section of said insertion button 46 has a shape substantially complementary to that of the through hole 30 of the PCB 12, in said configuration. of interlocking.
- the shape of the insertion button 46 is no longer complementary to that of the through-hole 30. The insertion button 46 then forms a stop preventing the PCB 12 from being separated from the pivot rod 42 by translation along the axis 44.
- the insertion button 46 of the support 14 has a half-moon shape, symmetrical along a plane (X, Y).
- the pivot rod 42 comprises a rotation portion 50.
- An axial length of the rotation portion 50 allows the PCB 12 a play in translation along the axis 44, between the stops 45 and 46.
- the transverse dimensions of the rotation portion 50 are smaller than those of the insertion button 46.
- said PCB 12 is able to pivot around the second axis 44 parallel to X.
- the shape and the dimensions of the through hole 30 and of the pivot rod 42 allow the PCB 12, threaded on the rotation portion 50, to pivot around at least one axis perpendicular to the second axis 44.
- the PCB 12, threaded onto the rotation portion 50 can pivot around any axis included in a plane (Y, Z) passing through the rotation portion 50.
- the PCB 12 threaded onto the rotation portion 50, can pivot perpendicular to X, so as to move the second end 33 of the plate 16 backwards.
- the shape of the first assembly elements allows the rotational movements of the PCB 12, around X and perpendicular to X, to take place simultaneously or separately.
- the amplitude of rotation of PCB 12 around an axis perpendicular to X depends on an angular position of said PCB 12 with respect to X.
- the PCB 12 is shown in an intermediate assembly configuration, the first axis 22 being arranged in the same plane (X, Y) as in the assembled configuration of the picture 3 .
- the first pin 22 is capable of forming a maximum angle ⁇ with the position of said pin 22 in the assembled configuration.
- the maximum angle ⁇ corresponds to a maximum clearance towards the rear of the second end 33 of the plate 16, relative to the contact part 37.
- the maximum angle ⁇ is between 5° and 25°, more preferably equal to about 20°.
- a second device for assembling the support 14 with the PCB 12 is formed by a notch 54, able to be assembled to the first cutout 32 of said PCB 12.
- the notch 54 extends substantially along Y and is made in a tab 56 connected to the contact part 37 of the support 14.
- the tab 56 is arranged substantially along X and oriented rearward.
- the notch 54 is delimited on the one hand by an abutment 58, oriented towards the contact part 37, and on the other hand by a bead 60 forming a free end of the cleat 56.
- the notch 54 is provided on an upper part of the cleat 56.
- the first cutout 32 of the PCB 12 is inserted into the notch 54.
- the plate 16 is thus locked in rotation around the second axis 44, in the direction which would tend to bring the second end 33 of said plate 16 downwards.
- a third device for assembling the support 14 with the PCB 12 makes it possible to block the plate 16 in the opposite direction of rotation, by cooperating with the second cutout 34 of said PCB 12.
- Said third assembly device is formed by a tongue 62, in relief along X with respect to the contact part 37 of the support 14, and oriented towards the rear.
- the tongue 62 notably comprises a free end 64 along X.
- a lower part of said tongue 62 comprises a cavity 66, disposed away from the free end 64.
- Said cavity 66 has a shape complementary to that of the second cutout 34, so as to block the plate 16 in rotation and in translation along the second axis 44.
- the tongue 62 is flexible and able to deform elastically by torsion around an axis parallel to Y; moreover, the cavity 66 passes through along Z.
- the tongue 62 is fixed to the contact part 37 at the end of the assembly process of the support 14 with the PCB 12.
- the tongue 62 can be rigid and/or the cavity 66 can be non-through.
- the particular shapes of the through hole 30 and of the insertion button 46 have a keying function, so that the LEDs 28 are necessarily oriented towards the contact part 37 of the support 14.
- the PCB 12 is translated along the second axis 44 until it is blocked by the axial stop 45 of the pivot rod 42.
- the through hole 30 is then arranged around the rotation portion 50 of said pivot rod 42.
- a first rotational movement is then applied to the PCB 12 so as to move the second end 33 of the plate 16 backwards.
- the first rotational movement takes place around an axis perpendicular to X.
- a second rotational movement is applied to the PCB 12 around the second axis 44, so as to move the second end 33 of the plate 16 upwards.
- the PCB 12 thus arrives at the intermediate configuration of assembly of the picture 2 .
- the rearward travel angle ⁇ allows said second end 33 to pass away from the bead 60 while the second rotational movement continues. Plate 16 therefore does not come into abutment against cleat 56 during said second movement.
- the second rotational movement around the axis 44 is continued until the first cutout 32 is located higher than the cleat 56 with respect to Z.
- a third rotational movement is then applied to the PCB 12 so as to move the second end 33 of the plate 16 forwards.
- the third rotational movement takes place around an axis perpendicular to X.
- the plate 16 is thus folded towards the contact part 37 of the support 14, inversely to the first rotational movement.
- the third rotational movement is continued until the first axis 22 is in the same plane (Y, Z) as in the assembled configuration of the picture 3 .
- the first cutout 32 of the PCB 12 is then located above the notch 54 of the tab 56.
- a fourth rotational movement is then applied to the PCB 12 around the second axis 44, so as to move the second end 33 of the plate 16 downwards.
- the first cutout 32 is thus lowered so as to fit into the notch 54.
- the PCB 12 and the support 14 are then in the assembled configuration of the picture 3 , forming the light device 10.
- the LEDs 28 of the PCB 12 are arranged opposite the housings 38 of the contact part 37 of the support 14, so as to diffuse light towards the output optics 36.
- the insertion of the first cutout 32 in the notch 54 blocks the PCB 12 in rotation around the axis 44, with respect to the support 14, in a first direction of rotation. This insertion also blocks the PCB 12 in translation along X, as well as in rotation around Y and Z.
- the rotation portion 50 in the through hole 30 blocks the PCB 12 in translation along Y with respect to the support 14.
- the insertion of the second cutout 34 in the cavity 66 locks the PCB 12 in rotation around X, in a second direction of rotation.
- Each of the second 32, 54 and third 34, 66 devices for assembling the PCB 12 and the support 14 therefore locks said PCB 12 with respect to said support 14 according to a different direction of rotation along X.
- the insertion of the second cutout 34 in the cavity 66 also blocks the PCB 12 with respect to the support 14, in translation along X and/or along Y, and/or in rotation around Z.
- the tongue 62 is fixed to the contact part 37 of the support 14 after the insertion of the first cutout 32 in the notch 54, so as to block the PCB 12 in the second direction of rotation.
- the fixing of the tongue 62 to the support 14 is for example carried out by clipping or screwing.
- the assembly method described above requires a relatively small amplitude of movement, in particular with regard to the rotations of the PCB 12.
- the latter can thus be assembled to the support 14 even in the case where said support is placed in an environment already crowded.
- the assembly can be carried out by hand by an operator, without any specific tool and without the PCB 12 being subjected to shocks that are harmful to the electronic components, in particular to the LEDs 28.
- the PCB 12 in the assembled configuration is completely blocked in rotation and translation relative to the support 14, so as to remain in contact with said support in the event of vibrations of the vehicle equipped with the light device 10.
