Description

The invention relates to a pocket spring mattress with pocket springs arranged in rows and rows of spring pockets according to the preamble of the first claim for protection.

Pocket spring mattresses are known in many forms, DE 10 2012 107 053 A1 , which generally have pocket springs made of spring steel, which are inserted pretensioned in spring pockets, which are installed in rows and rows in such a spring mattress, reinforcement strips running parallel to the rows of pocket springs being installed in order to obtain a minimum stiffness. Another example of the pocket spring mattress with pocket springs made of plastic is made of US 2008/128965 A1 known.

A disadvantage of the known pocket spring mattresses, however, is that the pocket springs are usually made of metal, so that people who prefer or even need complete freedom from metal in their sleeping place cannot enjoy a pocket spring mattress. Another disadvantage of the pocket springs made of metal wire is that they only provide very thin lower and upper bearing surfaces of the upper and lower wire ring, so that the spring pockets are subject to increased wear, which significantly reduces the service life of a pocket spring mattress equipped with them. It is also disadvantageous for pocket springs made of metal wire that they can corrode due to moisture in the pocket spring mattress, provided that they are not made of stainless steel or coated accordingly, which reduces their economy. The object of the invention is to provide a pocket spring mattress which has a lower metal content or is even completely metal-free and which has a long service life.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the subject matter of the independent claim.

Further advantageous embodiments of the subject matter of the invention result with and in combination from the following subclaims.

According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the pocket springs are made in one piece from a permanently elastic plastic, in particular injection molded, so that the pocket springs can be produced quickly and inexpensively in any number.

Another major advantage is that different pocket springs can be manufactured in a wide variety of wall thicknesses, as well as from a wide variety of plastics, as well as with a wide variety of spring element designs, which means that spring rates can be influenced in the simplest way, so that Pocket spring mattresses can be made, which can have different levels of support in different areas or zones.

An advantageously designed pocket spring has a circular-cylindrical or barrel-shaped basic shape, with preferably ring-shaped, if appropriate, closed top and bottom bearing surfaces which significantly reduce the pressure loads to be borne by the spring pockets. The elastic spring elements arranged between the support surfaces preferably save space from top to bottom in a space around their central longitudinal axis, so that a pocket spring mattress equipped with the inventive pocket springs is excellently ventilated and any moisture can immediately escape from the pocket spring mattress.

However, a pocket spring can advantageously also have a basic shape with a conical shape mirrored on a central transverse plane, with either a conical base surface oriented towards the mirror plane or with a smaller section surface of a truncated cone oriented towards the mirror plane. According to a further preferred embodiment, it can alternatively also have a spring element made of a hollow rubber-elastic bellows, with a closed or perforated jacket surface.

In the case of pocket springs designed as circular cylindrical, the upper and lower bearing surfaces are designed to be so large and the spring elements can be deflected so that they stand behind the contour of the bearing surfaces in any compressed and rebounded state, so that no mutual mechanical stress on the individual pocket springs of adjacent rows is generated . However, if this is irrelevant or even desired, barrel pocket springs can of course also be used in any desired embodiment.

A separate pocket spring is preferably arranged in each spring pocket, but it is also possible for two or more separate pocket springs to be free or mutually coupled one above the other in one Pencil case can be arranged so that the height of a pocket spring mattress to be constructed with it can be adjusted as desired.

According to the invention, the spring pockets are provided in the middle of their height with circumferential spacer rings on one or both sides, which are preferably made from the material of the spring pockets themselves, the spring pockets of adjacent rows being glued to one another either in the mutual contact area between the spring pocket and the spacer ring or between two spacer rings. Such spacer rings serve on the one hand to maintain sufficient flexibility of the pocket spring mattress and on the other hand to reinforce the spring pockets in the mutual contact area, so that they are not mechanically weakened in this.

To maintain the flexibility of the pocket spring mattress, an air gap can additionally be maintained between the spacer rings and the spring pockets, just as the spring pockets of a row of spring pockets can be arranged at different distances from one another, in which the seam regions are made with different widths in between.

The pocket spring mattress 5 consists of several spring core modules 11, as in the Figures 9 and 10th are shown, these being laterally surrounded with longitudinal and transverse foam bars 13, 14, as well as with upper and lower covers, not shown in the drawing.

A single spring mat module 11, as in Fig. 9 is shown, consists of several rows 2 and rows 3 of spring pockets 4, the adjacent spring pockets 4 rows 2 arranged side by side are connected to each other in their contact areas by hot gluing. The individual rows 2 consist of a continuous non-woven material, which is placed around the individual pocket springs 1 and welded, the pocket springs 1 in the spring pockets 4 under tension are held and 4 seam regions 10 are present between the individual spring pockets.

The pocket springs 1 are made of plastic and are manufactured in a plastic injection mold, whereby they have a lower and an upper ring-shaped support surface 6 and spring elements 7 arranged between them, as well as a free space 8 created around their central perpendicular, whereby pocket springs 1 in particular are used, as shown in FIG the DE 20 2015 102 184 U1 are described.

The spring pockets 4 are either welded to one another in the seam region 10 between the individual pocket springs 1 or they are additionally provided, for example in their central region, with a spacer ring 9 which runs either on one side or on both sides, the spacer rings 9 of adjacent rows 2 of spring pockets 4 or with only spring pockets 4 surrounded on one side by spacer rings 9, middle regions of these spring pockets 4 and the spacer rings 9 are glued to one another, so that overall the spring pockets 4 of a spring mat module 11 are arranged at a predetermined distance from one another and a slight deformation of a pocket spring mattress made therefrom is still possible without the individual pocket springs 1 or spring pockets 4 hinder each other.

A barrel-shaped design of the pocket springs 1 to produce a barrel pocket spring mattress is also conceivable here, whereby the effect of the spacer rings 9 is further enhanced.
