Dabei muss die Verglasung im Bereich ihrer umlaufenden Stirnfläche zum Flügelrahmen hin einen gewissen Abstand aufweisen, um beispielsweise eine unabhängige thermische Ausdehnung zwischen Verglasung und Flügelrahmen zu ermöglichen. Zu diesem Zweck werden üblicherweise Verglasungsklötze zwischen dem Flügelrahmen und der Verglasung im Bereich der Stirnseiten derselben angeordnet, um diesen Abstand sicher zu stellen. Darüber hinaus wird über die Verglasungsklötze, die in unterschiedlichen Höhen vorgehalten werden, das Spaltmaß zwischen Verglasung und Flügelrahmen eingestellt, wobei nicht nur eine gleichmäßige Spaltbreite angestrebt wird, sondern auch eine gewünschte winklige Ausrichtung des Flügelrahmens zur Verglasung. Dadurch ist es möglich, die Verglasung im Bereich des Spannklotzes in die gewünschte Einbaulage innerhalb des Flügelrahmens zu pressen, wobei die Ausgestaltung des Spannklotzes als Zylindersegment eine leichte Einpressbarkeit der Verglasung in den Flügelrahmen sicherstellt und darüber hinaus der Spannklotz elastisch deformierbar ist, so dass eine entsprechende elastische Rückstellkraft zwischen Verglasung und Flügelrahmen erzeugt wird, die die gewünschte Vorspannung und/oder den gewünschten Spaltverlauf zwischen Verglasung und Flügelrahmen in diesem Bereich selbsttätig sicher stellt.
